This place is disgusting and dirty. There was food or blood stains on the areas around the trampolines. When brought to the attention of employees, they just said someone spilled food and went back to sitting around and talking. There was candy and trash on the actual trampolines. The employees don't care about anything and are unhelpful. The equipment is in dire need of updating and fixing. Two of my kids got hurt on a landing pad/area because they need to be fixed. When I asked an employee to help my child that was hurt, they just stared at me like an idiot. I would never come back here. Not sure why they're so pushy for you to buy a membership when the place is falling apart and gross. read more

The kids and their Daddy had fun!!! They really enjoyed the swinging, jumping in the cubes, dodge ball and trying knocked off things lol. We were greeted upon arrival and helped at the desk. We had to purchase socks to jump. The had locker/cubbies to put your shoes and jackets in. It was well lit and they had staff lined up all around to make sure things were going well and safely. We had to fill out a waiver for everyone even i you were not jumping. The restrooms were clean. The family hand fun and enjoyed themselves. read more

They sell drinks and limited food, but wont let you keep the drinks or food near the very limited seating. As a parent just trying to hang out I guess I'll go stand downstairs or better yet, next time I'll go to Airborne Extreme. read more

Where to begin...... I have been here multiple times. Has been a good experience. However, I suppose like every other business, it is starting to decline drastically. Constant belly-rubbing music is not what I want my child listening to when I bring them to jump. There were activities that were not being used for whatever reason. Understaffed on a Friday night?????... I can't say that I'll be spending $26 for one child to jump here again. I hate that this place is going downhill. I have had quite a few good memories here. read more

Sky Zone Trampoline Park - Enjoyable swing not in service due to no staff available. - Trampoline Parks Near Me - Baton Rouge, Louisiana

This trampoline park is fun for all ages! We tried it out for the first time a couple of weeks ago and have been back a handful of times already. We purchase an hours worth of jumping which I think is perfect, but its never long enough for the kids. Even though they're totally exhausted by the end of the hour. It is that fun. They have a space theme going on, and they are always playing good music when we come in. The staff are really friendly, even when they are extremely busy. If you're bringing a teenage kid and their friends definitely get them the two hour pass. You can also host parties here, they have an upstairs area set aside. As far as the trampolines go, they have trampolines lining the walls, things to jump off of onto the trampolines, a super trampoline, a room set aside for dodge ball on trampolines, trampolines with basketball hoops, trampolines you can jump off of into foam pits, and an area just for little kids to jump. In addition to all of that, they have a ninja obstacle course, a silk rope to swing off of into the foam pit, slack lines over foam, ledges to jump into the foam from, a rock wall over the foam pit, a trapeze swing, a ladder monkey bar set. You could be entertained here for hours with your kids, thankfully they have vending machines there as well for sustenance! I couldn't ask for a better experience they keep the facility and restrooms clean, and did I mention they are all really nice? We will definitely keep coming back! read more

My kids LOVE Defy. We use a reward system at home for good behavior, and when my kids fill their "rock jar", this is the place they typically choose to go as their reward. So, this is now owned by Defy Baton Rouge. I have been here numerous times since moving here. The new ownership has made the place better in most respects. The people who work there don't seem as miserable as they used to. I imagine blowing a whistle at every kid who climbs the side of the inclined trampoline gets SUPER OLD. Maybe you could put more signs up on the wall there? Not that they will pay attention to it, but the parents might...also, a whistle loses its effect in a room that big and loud. We were there on a busy Saturday evening when it was approximately 8,000,000 degrees out so I think a lot of people had the same idea. It was a little crowded with birthday parties and everyone else, but my kiddos still had a blast. The new area to put shoes away is way better than it used to be, more spots to sit and get ready to go jump. My one complaint is that they got rid of the little kid area! We have three kids, 9, 6 and 1.5 and it's nearly impossible to find a place they can all have fun and since they transitioned to Defy, they improved the space for older kids and completely stopped considering the little ones. Our son is rambunctious and enjoyed jumping into the foam pits and jumping on trampolines but I was constantly worried about him getting trampled or bounced 10 feet in the air by a bigger child. Surely they could partition just a small area for toddlers? Overall, the new look is great and has fun new options. We will be back! read more

In May I took my niece to Defy in Baton Rouge. The lady at the counter checking us in was rushy and told me that if I signed up for the monthly pass, it would be cheaper than the one time day jump we were paying for. I explained that this was my niece, not my child, and that I only got her on weekends sometimes, so it was not needed. She explained that even if I took her back just one more time before the month ended, it would be basically like getting to jump for free because it still came out cheaper. The woman never told me that there was a 3 month requirement before I could cancel, and even told me out right I could cancel before the end of the month if I wanted to. She rushed me through the process, told me "sign here" and hurried us on our way. I attempted to cancel at the end of the month since, as expected, we wouldn't be using it much. My niece doesn't live close and only visits periodically. I attempted to cancel and was told I COULDN'T, and was then informed of the 3 month commitment that literally no one showed me or informed me of. So I became upset and contacted management who sent me an email on 5/18 apologizing and stating that my membership had been canceled and would NOT be charged again. On 6/1, what do you know, I received a charge (for MORE than the amount of the pass!) that bounced because my paycheck hadn't gone into the bank yet, so thanks for that. Then I received an email from Defy saying the payment didn't go through, so they'd try AGAIN in 48 hours so they could bounce my bank account a second time, because Defy is awesome like that. This is the epitome of shady business practices. And the issue STILL isn't resolved, so if someone who doesn't plan on lying to me would like to get in touch with me to actually resolve this, please do so. read more

Beware the reality check of not being a spring chicken anymore. That's what happened to me at least. I consider myself a pretty fit individual, but jumping on trampolines gives me the same equilibrium thrown off effect that swinging at the park does. Guess it's time I accept the reality that I'm in the over 30 crowd now. Overall though, an awesome experience. We took the advice of others and showed up around 8:40 for the Saturday morning from 9-10 am $10 pass for ages 6 and under, and our entire family had a blast. My girls are 6 & 3, and while my 3 y/o tuckered out a bit more (perhaps her being a little prissy naturally helped), she still found lots of fun things to do, just needed a few more water breaks than the average kid. My 6 y/o had a blast. No doubt about that; pretty sure she tried every single activity there and loved them all. My husband (who has been in the 30+ age bracket way longer than me) found himself feeling like an Olympic athlete while he took advantage of the trapeze bar and Olympic trampoline doing flips, etc. He no doubt had a major cardio workout. My favorites were the dodgeball area and the many foam pit areas to just feel like a kid again singing down into the ball pit, but foam rectangles is so much more fun than hard, plastic balls. We left most our belongings in the car and just stashed our shoes in the shoe bins and easily found them after. I did carry my phone with me, so just keep in mind there are many chances to lose your phone in the foam pits and not get it back for a few days to a month or so as they do clean up every other month. The staff was very friendly, the place was clean, super spacious, and set up very well. I kept thinking 1 hour wouldn't be enough, but it was actually perfect. I can't imagine any of us having survived much longer than that. No doubt we'll be back, and if you haven't checked it out, definitely do and go online to get your waiver done and buy tickets in advance. General passes sell out, so definitely buy tickets in advance. Also, wear exercise gloves if you are feeling brave enough to do the metal monkey bars like me. ;-) read more

This place rocks! We went on a cold Saturday and were expecting chaos and to be overwhelmed but the place is so big the crowd wasn't an issue. There is an area for every age and level from new walkers to true daredevils. The staff did a good job at monitoring for roughness and inappropriate behavior. The restrooms were clean. They revise cubbies for shoes. With only one entrance/exit to the play area it was easy to keep up with both kids with us. I wouldn't mind seeing a better selection of food rather than just a vending machine but now that we know we'll bring more snacks next time. Their website is very easy to navigate and clearly states the hours of operation and prices which is very helpful! And they have a giant sign letting you know if you check in on social media you save $1 per jumper. They do require their own brand of non skid socks, but once purchased (at about $3) they can be worn at each visit. read more

" Area 51 is an indoor trampoline park, extreme sports, family fun and more". This is a much needed activities facility in Baton Rouge. I love places that encourage people to be active! Great for the whole family to enjoy. To save you some time, order tickets & sign waiver online via: http://www.area51.us/. Regular Price Tickets (older than 6 years old): $13 = 1 hour & $20 = 2 hours. Kids 6 & Under Tickets: $10 = 1 hour & $15 = 2 hours. Socks - approved socks only; you will need to buy from them for $4 or you can opt to go barefoot; no socks of your own, but you can bring your socks back that you buy from them during your next visit. Waivers - all must sign a waiver (parents sign on behalf of child) - these are good for a week; you must sign a new one if you return after a week. There are keyed lockers to use to keep your personal belongings - $2 to rent. There are also open cubbies for shoes and other belongings. Vending machines are available, but you can bring your own drinks. If you order everything online, you will just need to present them the email confirmations at upon check-in at counter. When your time comes, you will be called to line up to enter the arena. This is a large trampoline facility with additional obstacle-course style activities, too. There are referees that are great about keeping things in order and making sure you are obeying the rules. There is even a designated area for toddler participants that is sectioned off from the rest of the activities. Enjoy rock climbing, bars, dodge ball and a lot of jumping fun! I had so much fun with my 5-year old daughter and our friends. You will enjoy, too! read more

My son and daughter went here for a going-away party for their friends. When they came came home, my son told me the following: He needed a mask break (as it is difficult to breathe with a mask over one's breathing holes). The staff told him to pull up his mask and he said no. He walked towards his chaperone. They chased him down! He was very upset, and they decided to leave. They should allow for mask breaks because children are exercising for long periods while covering their nose AND mouth! Go spend your money somewhere else. Would not recommend. read more

I had a blast! That's what I've told everyone who asked about my experience. Getting there, however, was a challenge. You can't call with questions, because it goes straight to a voicemail that instructs you to go to their website. The map, however, doesn't tell you exactly where this place is located, which is right behind Dicks Sporting Goods. It took me 15 minutes to find the place after arriving at the mall. Apparently this is a common problem. Once you arrive, the facility is fantastic! I had no complaints about the experience. The only reason I give a 4 rather than 5 star review is because of the trouble of reservations and finding the place. Although I love technology, sometimes it's important to have a real person to talk to. read more

We had so much fun here today for family fun day! I was skeptical about having to reserve a time slot and it only being an hour but they reserving a spot limits crowding and an hour is enough to have tons of fun and it was worth the price. We had a party of 7, 3 adults and 4 kids and we all left so happy and please...oh and tired! Ha! They have large trampolines, a dodge ball area, swings, rock climbing, monkey bars, basketball and more! The staff could have been a little friendlier but they all were nice just didn't look excited or happy. There are also lockers you can rent for $2 which we did because we had purses and they also had a wall of cubby holes you could use. When I looked on their website they have many different themes nights and even overnight jumps and you can have parties there too. Can't wait to go back. read more

They convinced me to get the membership as it would be "cheaper" and ONLY last a month, only to later, after putting my account in the negative to tell me it's a two month commitment. THEN, when I asked for a manager she said it was a THREE month commitment, but they can't do anything and so to email the GM. Still waiting on that reply. The place wasn't worth the money in the first place, most of the things they had, they don't anymore, and now they are literally taking money out of my account and have made no efforts as yet to fix it. I can't imagine a way to do worse business or lose customers. read more

I spent very close to $300 on my daughters birthday there, only for the children to be able to jump for 30 minutes, NO PIZZA WAS INCLUDED WHEN WE GOT INTO THE ROOM, the manager with the tattoos & light skinned was rude, NO HELP AT ALL, & didn't even attempt to accommodate us. If your party starts at 4 then you better be there for 3 because the service sucks in there & so it takes forever just for everyone to sign the waiver, but they don't care. It's ONE person that checks in parties, so if your in line when your jump time starts for whatever reason it won't even matter. It'll still take away from how long your child could jump. The party host was rude, we traveled over a hour for the worst experience ever. DO NOT HAVE YOUR CHILD PARTY THERE. I wouldn't recommend bringing your pet there let alone a child. read more

This trampoline park is great! We love the new attractions, and the new frozen drink option is a fun addition.

Finally something active for teenagers to do rain or shine. So much better than sitting in a movie with a 10,000 calorie bowl of popcorn. Leather sofas are scattered throughout for parents to observe from the sidelines. They also have uniformed security guards on site so safety is not a huge concern. After 10pm they have strobe lights and neon wrist bands for jumpers over 15yo. I would have given 5 stars if they offered a discount for entire day sessions or a membership option. read more

Oh wow! This was such an awesome place.! I think my daughter went crazy in here and I was about to as well. Actually was about to take the place of one of the kids jumping at the birthday party since the mom of the birthday kid paid for a certain number of children but I figured I should probably leave it to them since it was their birthday party. Lol. However, I definitely plan on going back as a family for some fun and exercise! This place had everything, trampolines, aerial yoga silks to swing on and ropes to swing on then you fall into a big foam pit. It looks like so much fun! Darn it! I should've kicked one of those kids off and tried it myself! LOL just kidding! I guess I'll just have to go back! But seriously, for an adventure seeker, this is a really cool place! They also had a whole obstacle course looking contraption but we never even made it over there because my daughter was having so much fun on the aerial yoga silks. It looked like a lot of fun too though. The place was really clean including the bathrooms and the workers were all really sweet. It was also very well organized as to when your time was up. I think you only pay for an hour or two at a time. I could be wrong about this because we were at a birthday party and everything was included. Also the party area we had for the cake was upstairs where you could look over the entire place and the kids really loved that! The older kids loved it and the young kids loved it! And I'm sure I would have too! So, overall very cool place and we will definitely be going back! read more

Both of my kids loooooove this place. It gets a little crowded at peak times but weekend mornings are perfect.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Area 51! I absolutely love this concept and appreciate a new, fun option for kids (and adults) in Baton Rouge. I would recommend completing your waiver online prior to arrival as it will save time. We visited during the special "six and under" jump period (9-10am) on Saturday morning, which was an excellent deal - only $10 for our six year old daughter and two parents. We arrived at 8:59, but were welcomed by a very long line. My only recommendation would be an accelerated check in line for people that paid online. We weren't able to start jumping until about 9:15, which was fine as it was more than enough time. There are many different experiences throughout the park and lots of friendly staff members. My daughter had a blast and we can't wait to return. I look forward to also exploring their birthday party options. read more

Fun fun fun for kids of all ages. There's an obstacle course and a ton of trampolines and foam pits to play in. This place is great for birthday parties or just bring the kids for a day of play. The only draw back is..... the kids will never want to get out of the play area. Lol. The especially lived the obstacle course since they are into American ninja warrior. The also lived the bodge ball area. They had such a great time. read more

I really like the variety of obstacles they offer here than just plain bounce parks we've visited before. I also like their variety of cute socks to choose from. The people behind the desk were very friendly. A lot of it is worn, torn + dilapidated. What I was NOT impressed with the temps. The have GOT to turn the air down for everyone's safety in this place! Installing some fans in certain areas would definitely help as well. The water in the fountain was room temp :/ Our kids only jumped an hr. They along with all the other kids had white rings around their mouths and were sweating profusely. We were just watching and WE were sweating too! Sorry, but 3 stars was the best I can do given the conditions. read more

Yes, yes, and yes!!!! This place is completely awesome!!! I took my nephews here for some fun and they were beyond in love with everything! I didn't jump but just watching everything going on around me was enough to excite me. This place is jumping on steroids!! You see all different age groups jumping and doing flips. It's could be a really cool date. Save yourself some time and fill out the waiver and be sure to make your reservation online. If you want to wear socks you must buy the socks they have which is 4 bucks but you can bring them back and wear them for your next visit. It is very important to follow the rules, a young boy suffered from a broken ankle due to being double bounced and the rules state that action is not allowed. So you do have to be careful with the free jump. Other than that I would say please check this place out and jump your heart out!! read more

I was in town for a hot sec and wanted to hang out with my nephew. We usually go to SkateGalaxy, but I was going to surprise him by going to Area51 instead. When I picked him up, he asked to "go to Area 51 instead of SkyZone because Area 51 was more fun". Surprise?! So we nixed the skating idea which I guess was really never a thought, because one has to trust a 9yo on these sorts of things, right? I was bored out of my mind keeping an eye on my nephew when I could see him and frustrated to pieces when I couldn't (which was for most of the hour), but he had a blast. I think $15 for a hour of self-propelled fun is a bit steep for anywhere in da Boot, but for air conditioning on a sticky, summer day, I guess it would be worth it. Check it out if you want to be the cool adult of the day. 6 stars for 9yo fun. 3 stars for value. read more

My 28 year old boyfriend and I (27) went here for his birthday, since he wanted a bouncy castle and they don't really make those in "adult" sizes. It was our first time to a trampoline park, and when we saw all of the young kids and that we were pretty much the oldest people there that would be jumping without a child, we were nervous that this would be lame. I am so happy we were wrong! We bought our tickets in advance, which was a good move since the time we wanted sold out before our jump time. I like that they limit the number of tickets sold, both I am sure for safety reason, but also customer experience. There is the main trampoline area, with tons of flat trampolines you can bounce actually pretty high on. There is also different areas where you can jump into a pit of foam blocks, an American Ninja Warrior challenge area, mini rock wall, and other fun features! I think that the 1 hour block was perfect for us. We had a great time, and since we stayed bouncing pretty much the whole time, got a decent workout as well! Adults, no need to think this is just a "kid" place! We had a blast! The one thing I would change is the locker system. We opted to rent a locker to store our things in since I wanted a place I could safely put my wallet and our changes of clothes for dinner afterwards. I figured they would just give me a key to hold onto. Instead, they seem to have the same key and lock for all of the lockers, and you have to get a staff member to open the locker for you. I think this is not an efficient system since (1) whenever I needed my shoes during my bounce time (for the bathroom), I had to get a staff member to unlock the locker for me; and (2) it appeared that many staff members had access to the lockers, so it wouldn't be that hard for a person to take something out of the lockers as long as they could give the number (all we were asked when we went to get our stuff back is what number the locker was). Other than that security/efficiency issues, I think everything was great! We'd definitely come back, but will probably leave any valuables in the car instead of renting a locker again. read more

Finally!! Baton Rouge has advanced in the world and we have a trampoline park! The owner is a genius because this will do very well here. I'm not sure if you have to buy advanced tickets but I would say it's recommended. They let people into the arena in waives to control the crowd. We bought 1:30 tickets at 12:30 online. It cost $40 for 2 adults, 2 hours. We had a blast but it's kind of like swimming. It wears you out quick and I'm athletic, 1 hour would still be great. I could spend all day here, and I would pack a lunch although they have a water fountain and vending machines that accept credit cards. There is cubbies for your personal belongings but I would leave valuables in your trunk. If you are participating you jump barefoot, so ladies, paint your toenails lol. All employees are very attentive and friendly, they gave me tips on doing flips off the trapeze. There's plenty of trampolines, foam pits, roaps, acro yoga trapeze type silks, basketball nets, small rock climbing wall jungle gyms, so much to do! I've been to skyzone in Atlanta and this was much better in my opinion. Dodgeball too (son fun!) Stretch and warmup first if you're not a kid, you could easily hurt yourself. They told me they will be offering fitness classes as well. Kids area for 6 and under. Love it! It's behind the mall behind Dick's. Bring your friends! read more

What a great place to take the kids for some fun. I am always looking for ways to pry the computers and phones from my nephews hands and this is the perfect spot. We went Thursday morning while the kids were out for Mardi Gras and it was great. We got there for the 10-11 jump time and it was not crowded at all. There were lots of kids there but the way it is laid out I do not think there was a line longer than 3-4 kids at any time. In fact I think there were only a few lines at all. There is just that much stuff to do! But I am getting ahead of myself so let me start again.... Area 51 is located behind Dicks Sporting Goods over by The Mall of Louisiana. It is a large indoor trampoline park that kids can do everything form run and jump on trampolines to play dodge ball, try walking a tightrope or even try out some aerial silks like they use in Cirque de Soleil -- all over foam pits of course! You will have to sign a waiver for everyone to participate OR even be up in the jump area. I did not jump nor did our 2 year old but she and I both had to have waivers signed. You can fill these out online from home to save time checking in and I would recommend doing so. Here is the link https://area51.pfestore.com/waiver/ You can also purchase tickets online. I did not purchase our tickets online this time because it was a last minute thing but they tell me they fill up their time slots quickly on weekends so if you know what time and day you want to go it might be wise to book ahead. It took us about 10 minutes to do waivers for all 6 of us and get the wristbands and socks. With a line of people it would have taken obviously longer. Here is the link for tickets http://area51.pfestore.com/areas/Flight_Tickets/Default.aspx You have your choice of wearing their special gripper socks while on the jump floor or going barefoot. Two of mine chose socks - two did not and say next time they will. I buy the socks and then keep them put away for when we go. I recommend comfy play clothes or athletic wear for best bouncing. They also do not allow hats or jewelry. Once you are ready and have your wrist band and flight time you are ready to hit the floor and I have fun. i loved that I was allowed up and into the jump area with the kids. There is ample walkway room between areas and if you have older kids you can sit on any number of comfy overstuffed couches and watch them play! I opted to walk around and film ours as they played together. I had jumpers from 8-25 jumping and all four of them had a blast. The boys 8 and 12 said dodge ball was their favorite while my daughter who is 14 and my niece who is 25 loved the fact they could try the aerial silks and the different areas like the obstacle course and the tightrope. While we only payed for an hour the boys say they could have gone longer! The girls said they thought an hour was great! either way they all agreed we are definitely coming back to Area 51! I notice they have a family jump night where immediate family jumps for $35 so i think that may be just the thing for us! We are gonna have to plan a fun night again very soon! read more
