I saw that they had a really nice menu and was really hoping to try out more items but we wanted to place an order to go and they only offered pizza to go. Put in an order over the phone and they said to come in around 40 to 45 minutes but when we went there it was clear that they hadn't even started the order yet. Had to wait at least 10 or 15 minutes more while other customers got their orders and then person made our pizza. Guy making the pizza seemed really fun and nice though and smiled when ever we made eye contact. He seemed to have a good rapport with all the other stuff so that's a nice sign as well. All the pizzas were absolutely delicious! Vegetarian pizza was somehow amazing! Good amount of vegetables on there and I added some chili flakes and it was unbelievable. Sausage and mushroom pizza is also hit with the family. I think everyone loved the spicy salami pizza a little extra because we usually like spicy food. Also ended up getting the Pistachio Aranchini because they had them ready already. Really nice flavor in there. From what I could tell they had pistachio cream and some ham inside as well along with the rice. Quite a nice appetizer. They're croissanty on the outside and nice flavor as well. read more

Fantastic! We were there 4 times during our stay and everything was great every time! Peppered mussels, seafood pasta, tuna, beef and mushrooms, beef and balsamic , zucchini flowers, grilled vegetables, sea bream, whole fish grilled and oven baked ( we like oven baked best), grandmothers cake. Visited Sant'Agata for ten days and ate at Da Mimi twice. Service was top notch and always had room for 8 people. The food was spectacular starting with calamari and stuffed zucchini leaves to their lasagna and tiramisu for dessert. Always a fun ambiance. Can't wait to head back to Italy! read more

Came here for dinner after seeing all the great reviews and was not disappointed! This place has cute outdoor as well as indoor seating. I had the pasta with seafood and it was fantastic. You could tell both the pasta and the fish were fresh. It's also open late which is a plus and the town is very cute to walk around in. It's a nice distraction from the high volume tourist towns of Positano and Sorrento. read more

This restaurant was utterly disappointing. Our server failed to serve us and I hold no pity for him. We are a well travelled family and we have never so ignored. out of principal we felt we had no choice but to left the restaurant. I'm strictly reviewing off character. Beware dining in this restaurant!!!! When we first arrived we were bluntly told to come back later.... this was at 545pm- not even a welcome. When we did come back ( im not sure why we came back now) a young waiter was incredibly rude to my wife and upon witnessing this treatment I gathered my family to depart. The waiter, obviously a little panicked that he may have to explain our departure to his manager, tried to dissuade me and stood in my way gesticulating arrogantly. It went downhill from there suffice to say the waiter should be ashamed... he made the most unprofessional scene in front of a half empty restaurant. We left and had a fantastic experience up the road at their competitors. With any luck the owner of this restaurant will read this and ask his staff for the name of the waiter that caused this bad experience and have him removed from payroll. read more

This cute little restaurant was conveniently located just steps from our Airbnb. The service and food were fantastic! The pastas are all made in house. I enjoyed the manicotti, which was a hearty portion. Also be sure to try the starter plate that has a variety of deep fried goodness. The prices are also super reasonable compared to similar meals in Roma and Florence. Definitely check this place out. read more

Mimi's is a lovely ristorante tucked in a narrow alley in the village of Sant Agate high above Sorrento. We had bruschetta to die for...beautifully crimson tomatoes and garlicky olive oil on crisp locally baked bread. Vegetable soup and an order of gnocci and spaghetti pomodoro. Delicioso! Sat on lovely covered patio surrounded by italian voices meeting for Good Friday lunch. Topped off with glasses of lemoncello and meloncello. We found this restaurant in Sant Agata while walking through the hills. Empty when we arrived (around 12:30pm on a Friday afternoon) but half filled when we left an hour later. Service was good. The food was great! I had a pasta dish (fresh rigatoni, I think, with sausage) that came backed in a pair of little pies. Delicious! And surprisingly cheap for the high quality. read more

On our last night on our vacation we had the distinct pleasure of dining at da mimi, at it was FABULOUS. I cannot recommend the quality of the food and the calibre of the waiting staff highly enough. I had swordfish in a lemon sauce and some aubergine with tomato and mozzarella, it was absolutely delicious. My partner had a wonderful 'Mt Vesuvius' pizza and the caprese salad which was the best he had on our trip. There was a constant stream of locals coming in to get the takeout pizza the whole time.!
