Vegans and vegetarians - options in this part of Spain, and particularly this city - are limited.
Here you have a couple of options beyond the basic green salad, including spaghetti and a traditional pizza (the Napolitana) which is not topped with cheese. It does come with anchoa (anchovies) - so just take them off and you're good to go.
I opted for the pizza.
Size was probably better to share (think US medium - hand tossed), but I wanted some to take for later...
I managed to leave two pieces, but I could've easily choked down another piece - but I was already pushing it.
Crust was outstanding. Perfect combination of crispy and chewy. Sauce was good, but you might want to ask for a little more oregano and garlic.
I wanted a little heat, so they brought me olive oil filled with red pepper. Wow! That did the trick.
Im leaving full and happy.
