It seems the owner and chefs (for food and desserts) moved from Sicily to Madrid. In 2017 after having 17 restaurants decided to scale down and move to the quiet town of Segovia. The restaurant has a local near the Plaza Mayor/cathedral m and another in the aqueduct. Owner (obviously since he told me his story) and staff were very friendly.

Our server was good and helped gove some recommendations. There was a BOGO drink special on spritz, so we started with that and the gnocco fritto, which were like little puffed pita bread. I had the pistachio pesto pasta and hubs had carbonara. We both loved our pastas and couldn't say no to the pistachio tiramisu dessert. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in an old world authenticity. With seating both inside and outside, this place offers a venue that is warm and inviting. But, with very limited seating ensure you make a reservation. The staff is very friendly and speak English if you need some help. Both our waitress and waiter helped us decipher the menu and choose the perfect lunch entrees. My wife and I enjoyed every bite of each dish. We ordered the biscotti breadsticks, the pumpkin sauce with penne pasta, and a mushroom based sauce with egg noodles. All was exceptionally scrumptious and each dish is a shareable portion (and that's coming from an American who knows about large portions). The price was right too, by the way. He was so impressed with his own warm HF baguette (separate packing clearly showed it was GF) Basically the entire Italian menu has available GF options which made dining a delight for my son (probably over ordered for himself but had snack for the next day!). Spain has the best GF bread; not sure why other countries can't replicate the breads. From the bread, to the pasta, to the soups, I just can't say enough good things. The majority of the menu is GF.
