I've been going to D1 for several years now. David is always efficient, and more importantly completely honest. Last week I took in an old truck I don't drive very often. I had replaced the battery several weeks ago, but hadn't driven it since. Apparently it takes more than a half-hour of driving at freeways speeds to reset the computer sensors. David asked me if I had recently changed the battery because the sensors weren't all reset. He stopped the test, told me to go drive it some more and didn't charge me. I brought it back in a few days, and it passed no problem. I highly recommend this place! read more

Took my truck here for smog testing. It didn't pass. Ok. Paid the fee and took it to a place that does smog testing AND repair. It passed. W/O anything having to be done to it. I called D1 and asked for a refund b/c it passed at another place w/o anything having to be done to it. They refused. I would recommend going somewhere else... not at all satisfied with this place. They took way too long to find out it didn't pass by .19 of a point to make it fail. This is so they can charge you another $45 for retest where elsewhere it's normally no charge , except for the certificate. I brought my vehicle in for a smog check and was charged $77 to be told they can't submit the test because the check engine light was on. They could have told me that at the beginning. No consideration whatsoever and I have to pay full price AGAIN to bring it back, which I won't be doing. read more

Just got back from getting my mom's prius smogged and I had such a good experience I was inspired to write a review. ~Making an appointment was easy. ~Technician was waiting for me when I arrived so there was no waiting. ~Car was done in about 15 mins! ~Office was set up with Covid precautions so I felt safe -- they wore masks, had clean pens, had me wait outside (which he apologized for but it was what I expected and was happy to do so!) ~They were polite and friendly.
