This place needs more attention!!! It's so hidden that I had trouble finding it! I am so glad I did though, the service was fantastic, I was a bit frazzled that my normal smog shop was late opening and happened to fine this place thanks to other fellow Yelpers. Benito ( I may be spelling this wrong-sorry) was super helpful, I had previous gotten my car smogged but it had been serviced recently ( the battery was disconnected) and ... I hadn't driven it enough to reset the o2 sensor, so he offered to run it through and wouldn't charge me if it didn't pass- how kind is that? He was super efficient- so fast, it was done before I had time to worry. Luckily my car passed and I was off to do other staycation chores. Worst shop ever! Website coupon SCAM!! The owner " BENITO " was so rude and changed his mind after I made an appointment & confirming that I'll use his website $20 off coupon. The website shows that they close at 3:00 PM on Sundays. After calling " BENITO " the shop owner and arrived there a few minutes before the appointment time, he was sitting in the shop with family & friends chatting & not busy! But, he said that I was late & he can do the smog without using the $20 off coupon after he had confirmed on the phone. PEOPLE BE AWARE!!! I have an older car that is finicky sometimes. Last smog I got was a less than stellar experience, including being told I should just get a newer car. Really? It's a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder. I have been bringing all my cars here for years. Always had the best service and was quick and easy. I guess they have changed owners. I went in there about 2 months ago and was shocked. I went in and stood at the desk waiting for someone to help me. I grabbed the paperwork and started filling it out. When I finished I yelled for help a few time to no avail. After about 10 minutes I noticed a man sitting in the waiting room. I approached him and asked were the owner was and told me he was the new owner, I said oh and that I need a smog check done. He said he was on break. So asked how much longer it would be. He said " It just started so it would be a while ". I then ripped up the paperwork and found a new place to go for smog testing. The manager conducting the smog tests, who was working by himself at the time, was friendly and efficient. I went to them for a smog on Chev 3500 pick up and they only accepted cash at that time so I paid the 60 dollars and he checked and passed the truck and handed me NO paperwork other then my own back and said that he sent it directly to the DMV so I drove off and 2 months later no record at DMV or at his smog station. So this just happened.....Waiting outside the shop at 8am. At 8:15 someome pulls up along side of me rolls down His window and says "are you here for a smog?" I said yes. The man in the red truck looks at me like I have grown a 3rd eye. He says "what year is your car?" I said 1999. He said "well it's going to take at least a half hour to recalibrate the machine." I said well I have an appointment somewhere else at 9am which was why I was here exactly at 8 as we discussed. He looked at me and said "oh".
