Fantastic place: great people, quick service, pleasant waiting room. I wasn't sure if our RV had enough miles on the road after some recent repairs to be able to do a smog check, and was delighted to learn that they offer a free scan check to see if the computer's stored enough codes for the check to be possible (it did). You won't go wrong going to them. read more

Hours say 9-4, but no one's there at 9:15. A few others came by to get smogs and I waited 15 minutes.

A very good place to go for your smog test. The gentleman who runs it is honest, kind and efficient. He honors the $20 off coupon on the website. I had to go to a Star station this time to renew my registration. In calling around, this place was (with the coupon) by some margin the least expensive. read more

The owners are so nice they say hi when you walk in and get you taken care of immediately and you can't beat the price. I walked in and it took maybe 10 minutes for the whole process. read more

Needed a smog right away and walked in without an appointment. Had to wait a little while for the cars ahead of me, but once they got my car in, in took less than 10 minutes and was a great price with the coupon. I wasn't here for a therapy session... no small talk... just courteous and efficient. read more

In and out quickly, everyone was very friendly and efficient. Great pricing. Highly recommend! Bringing both cars here!

Highly recommend! Very reasonable price, and the tech was quick and efficient. It's just a no-nonsense smog check with a straightforward, professional tech. Best of all, they're open Sundays which was a total lifesaver for me. The convenience, price, and speed are a winning combo, definitely 5 stars! read more

Highly recommend action Smog! They took great care of us for the smog check. There is a 20.00 off coupon on their website too. They were professional and fast. No wait at all and no appointment required. Very easy for smog test. read more

This place needs more attention!!! It's so hidden that I had trouble finding it! I am so glad I did though, the service was fantastic, I was a bit frazzled that my normal smog shop was late opening and happened to fine this place thanks to other fellow Yelpers. Benito ( I may be spelling this wrong-sorry) was super helpful, I had previous gotten my car smogged but it had been serviced recently ( the battery was disconnected) and ... I hadn't driven it enough to reset the o2 sensor, so he offered to run it through and wouldn't charge me if it didn't pass- how kind is that? He was super efficient- so fast, it was done before I had time to worry. Luckily my car passed and I was off to do other staycation chores. I highly recommend this shop if you're in need of a smog inspection! read more

Wow, I usually just plan on taking my car to a smog shop and not really looking for great customer service or conversation. This experience was different. The owner Benito, was so friendly and he really has the customer service down. My car was done in no time and I didn't have an appointment. I highly recommend this place when you need to get your car smogged. read more

Quick, professional, and reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend. I was in and out within 25 minutes without an appointment.

I called Benito last minute to see if I could get an appointment and in short order my car got smogged and I was on my way. Friendly service and fair price. read more

Great experience here. First time around a small crack was found in my intake hose and was not charged for the test. I replaced the part with a quick fix and got pulled up in line for the retest. Quality service and professional manner. read more

This is where I always go to get any vehicle I have smogged. Benito always provides great service, and is just such an honest good person. I highly recommend coming here if you need your vehicle(s) smogged! read more

Fast and friendly service! Brought a $20 off coupon and you can't beat the price with that. Thanks and see you again next time I need to smog my car! read more

Worst shop ever! Website coupon SCAM!! The owner " BENITO " was so rude and changed his mind after I made an appointment & confirming that I'll use his website $20 off coupon. The website shows that they close at 3:00 PM on Sundays. After calling " BENITO " the shop owner and arrived there a few minutes before the appointment time, he was sitting in the shop with family & friends chatting & not busy! But, he said that I was late & he can do the smog without using the $20 off coupon after he had confirmed on the phone. PEOPLE BE AWARE!!! I don't advise using that shop " Action Smog " services or doing any business with those kind of businesses who deceive people for a couple of bucks more. read more

Brought my car in here the other day to get its smog. The man who helped me was quick, and friendly, and answered all my questions. It was such a pleasure going to him, he even treated me like a person, not trying to hurry me along or get me out of his shop once he was done with my car. I will defiantly go back to him next time. read more

The online presence for this business indicates they open at 9am on Saturdays. Also, there are no hours posted on the storefront. The tech didn't roll in until 9:30. Wasted time. Not too happy about this... read more

Took my mothers vehicle in to get smogged. It passed. The two employees seemed friendly.

I've been a customer here several times. They know what they're doing. They take care of my car or my wife's car as soon as possible. The price is fair. They are very professional. What else could you ask for? read more

I have an older car that is finicky sometimes. Last smog I got was a less than stellar experience, including being told I should just get a newer car. Really? It's a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder. I love my old car. Benito was outstanding and professional and friendly. When it needs doing in another couple of years, I absolutely will be coming back to this shop. No appointment needed, but I DID check Yelp for when the place is least busy. read more

Really nice servicemen clean comfortable waiting room no wait for service free wifi lots of parking

This place is tucked back off the street, but if you look carefully, you'll find it. The guy who runs the shop is efficient and professional. We were in and out in 20 minutes. His pricing is very fair. He is STAR rated and is very experienced at Smog Checks. We took his test results paper work to AAA office and got our vehicle registered and got our tags. We are all set. Good experience. read more

I called 1 hour before closing he said he had to leave early, he said come on Monday at the time we agreed and said he couldn't do it, bad work ethic read more

I have been bringing all my cars here for years. Always had the best service and was quick and easy. I guess they have changed owners. I went in there about 2 months ago and was shocked. I went in and stood at the desk waiting for someone to help me. I grabbed the paperwork and started filling it out. When I finished I yelled for help a few time to no avail. After about 10 minutes I noticed a man sitting in the waiting room. I approached him and asked were the owner was and told me he was the new owner, I said oh and that I need a smog check done. He said he was on break. So asked how much longer it would be. He said " It just started so it would be a while ". I then ripped up the paperwork and found a new place to go for smog testing. If could give zero stars I would. Don't go here!!!! read more

Came in, got a smog check for my registration, and got out. Luckily I was there just in time before the guy was about to close early.

I went to them for a smog on Chev 3500 pick up and they only accepted cash at that time so I paid the 60 dollars and he checked and passed the truck and handed me NO paperwork other then my own back and said that he sent it directly to the DMV so I drove off and 2 months later no record at DMV or at his smog station. I will never return there with my 10 vehicles. read more

In and out within 15 minutes. The guy who runs the place doesn't have the best "bedside manner," but what what more can you ask for than a fast, cheap, and efficient smog experience? He got the job done fast and my car passed smog for $45 with the coupon. read more

It was the first time that I needed to take my car in for a smog check and I'm so glad that it was with Action Smog. The manager conducting the smog tests, who was working by himself at the time, was friendly and efficient. There had been customers ahead of me and at least one that arrived after I did, and the manager provided the same level of excellent service to everyone. My family and I know where we will be bringing our vehicles for their smog checks going forward. read more
