RJ tells me this so I went out and drove it around for a couple of days take it back to RJ and he charges me next to nothing to have it done the 3rd. Time!! How great at that!! Stressed? You know it! Concerned about the work that would be done and how long it would take and what it would cost? Absolutely! Who isn't stressed out when their car breaks down, and they're going to a new auto mechanic??? Greeting me in the lobby were three of the nicest guys who just got into work and were in a better mood than I was... Things were looking up already... Jeff was my repair coordinator, and he immediately put me at ease and let me know that they would do everything they could to get me back up and running ASAP. I quickly booked a rental truck and Ubered to the rental location to get it and bring it back to swap the goods and get back on track. One of the technicians (Scott maybe?) helped me make the swap (above and beyond? Yup!) Quick communication on Coogler's part with some texts and emails told me they had found the problem and were on the case. Estimated time to repair? End of today or tomorrow at the latest. That's fast, I thought... Good news too because I've got more deliveries coming up. 'Tis the season... Fast forward ~4 hours and I'm getting a call from Jeff telling me my truck was ready to pick up (pun intended). What?!?!?! 4 hours and it's done!!! Got back to the rental shop, got one of their guys to take me back to Coogler's, and was back in my truck at 1:30 pm. Since then, a couple of genuinely concerned calls and emails asking if everything is still going well with the truck. Normally, when I do business with someone, they only call to ask if we can do more business. This was actual follow-up and quite refreshing. Will I work with Coogler's again? You bet I will! After going there for several years to get my smog check, I went there because my tire sensor went…read moreout and immediately they said it was the censor I made an appointment to come back have them fix it and also a all point inspection they did not fix the sensor and said my engine was so horribly filthy dirty with oil dripping because I have a major oil leak that they can't tell what's going on and that I need to get the engine totally cleaned, they referred me to an auto detail shop who will do it for $400. Then they wanted me to come back and charge me another $231 just to look at it again and tell me where this huge oil leak is coming from mind you I never saw any drop in my oil pressure never saw any spots in my driveway and because they submit Photos with your estimate which I had to call them two days later to get , not sure why they didn't give them to me the first time which to me is somewhat suspicious. I looked at the photos and I didn't see what they're talking about. So I took it somewhere else. I do not have a huge oil leak nor is my car is so greasy underneath it I would need to have the engine cleaned. It was my power steering pump so basically they tried to take me for $631 and profit the detail shop they work with I am still in shock. I thought these guys were honest and bona fide, family run business, etc. etc.. Any seasoned mechanic could sure tell the difference between oil and transmission fluid.

I had to find a STAR certified shop to smog my truck this year, and the place I had been going couldn't do the STAR inspection. Kat was great. She got me in on a walk in, and had me back on the road so fast, I went home and got my car that needed a smog check too. She was friendly, professional, and made the whole process painless.
