Great service and quick! Staff was patient and polite with this 80 year young customer. A bit pricier than other shops, but well worth the expense. read more

Owner was the rudest man I have ever encountered at a business. Take your car anywhere else for a smog. Reprimanded me for getting out of my car to ask him a question because I was early for my appointment. "Don't you read signs " is what he said to me instead of asking how can I help you!! Worse customer service ever !! read more

Great service, fast friendly and affordable. Allowed me to come in early for my appt. Thanks

I needed my suv star smogged which is a specific smog place and I called around and got the best deal from this place. It's $53 dollars with a credit card and only $48 with exact cash required! So I figured I'm in for the $48 but there was a problem with my suv because it needed an O2 sensor so I then took it to my mechanic and his name is Tim Lynch with T&K Automotive Repairs he does it in half a day and I go back to RJ at 101 Expressway Smog and the thing is you have to drive a certain number of miles to get the whole thing reset. RJ tells me this so I went out and drove it around for a couple of days take it back to RJ and he charges me next to nothing to have it done the 3rd. Time!! How great at that!! Thank you RJ for being a good man! It's so appreciated!! read more

Great attitude, great price, fast turnaround. I appreciated the cash price. Thank you!

This is the only place I go for my smog. He's great. Super timely. Communicated well. And the pricing has stayed consistent.

I called around and this place had the best price for a simple smog. Made an appointment and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Perfect! There's a small vinyl record thrift store around the corner that I checked out while waiting. read more

Kind, honest proprietor, best prices in town, quick in and out experience. I've used 101 Express Smog twice and have no complaints.

I've been taking my vehicles here for service for years now. Always punctual and friendly service. Great value!

I called them about an hour and a half before they closed, and they said to come on in; they'd take care of me! I definitely recommend this place! read more

Was able to accommodate same day appointment, service was fast and affordable. Would recommend if you need last minute smog certification!

I've been going to 101 smog since 2010 & always was very pleased with the customer service & quality of workmanship. This time when I arrived I walked to were the office had always been & got chastised by some fellow for being in his shop & it didn't end there. He continued to berate me about not noticing his signs he installed outside, showing up 10 minutes early for my appointment & telling me I didn't park my car in disability parking space to his liking... I decided to go to Hansley Smog were I was treated like a 5 star customer & I might add was a better deal. I'm giving 101 smog 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. Not sure if 101 Smog is under new ownership but it's not the business I remember using & recommending to my friends & neighbors.. PS.. by your reply you can see your poor customer service ... you were very rude & the other customer told me that you quoted as saying i was wrong & was your 2:45p app said what a A÷= you were. I never said I wanted her appointment. If you look at your reviews this isn't the 1st time for poor customer service skills. Oh I'm sorry my 7lb dog scared you I know how intimidating he is. The reason I left my review wasn't that I was looking for special treatment I was just letting other customers know what to expect when using your smog station. Enjoy your life my friend & just a suggestion clean your waiting room & bathrooms. A note to future customers don't try calling this business he won't answer the phone & you cant leave a message. He only will reply by emails... who's privileged? Hey Adrian Let's set the record straight. I went inside your shop to check-in & leave my keys so you could smog my car & told you i was early & apologized I had already called Uber to pick me up to go to Safeway. Before I could finish is when you started Chastising me & berating because I was a senior citizen & I move a little slow & didn't notice your silly little sign After I waited a few minutes at the shop door while you were ignoring me I finally went into your shop to drop me keys off. That is all I did. You never gave me a chance to say another word. Not sure why you think I'm entitled your just making things up to try & make yourself look good. Grow up stop saying I said things I never did or say. Your problem is you don't listen! Your other problem is you have very few customer service skills to deal customers. You must not be busy today because you sure have a lot time to reply to me. I have time because I'm retired. My advise to you hire someone to greet your customers before you don't have any & learn to LISTEN! Good Luck read more

Took my car here for the past two smog checks and very happy with the service. RJ was super helpful in getting me in and very helpful with taking care of the paperwork. Price was fair and as promised in estimate. No upsells. Highly recommend this shop! :) read more

I'll be back and recommend. Owner efficient and reliable. An easy off the freeway on Cleveland and 1/2 block south of College. It would help to have a sign identifying the driveway to enter. Otherwise, affordable and honest read more

Another great experience here with another quick in and out appointment getting my truck smogged!! Thanks again RJ

DO NOT GO HERE. I made an appointment online through Yelp. I went there early to see if they could take me earlier than my appointment. When the very rude man told me I had no appointment.I showed him the texts that proved I had an appointment and I was yelled at saying that the guy making my appointment knows not to make appointments Online. He then told me "You can just get the fu*k out of here. read more

I had a great experience both today and in 2022. 101 Smog in Santa Rosa got back to me very quickly with a quote via Yelp message. I was able to make an appointment over the phone. The staff was courteous and efficient. They smog tested my car, recorded the results with the DMV, and honored the quoted price. All in all, it was a very satisfactory transaction. Once again, I would definitely recommend 101 Smog in Santa Rosa. read more

I highly recommend 101 Express Smog. My husband and I went without an appointment, and a man named Nacho helped us. We had talked with him for a while, and he gave us perfect advice on how to clear a No pass situation. In general, the place is quick and inexpensive, Nacho made it feel like speaking with a neighbor, and he has a real Sonoma County vibe, great person. read more

Great clean shop, beyond reasonable price and friendly staff, Fernando & RJ really took care of me. I told them my air bag had been replaced that day, they feared the car computer would have to reset itself, so they put a meter to it & sure enough it would not have passed. I returned after a week of driving and it was as ready to smog as predicted. I did not make an appointment this past Saturday and just dropped in, they warmers busy but made time for me, I think I was in & out in 30 minutes! Thanks to RJ & Fernando! read more

I made a appointment for a smog check at 101 express. My car is fairly new, so this was the first time I've needed to get a smog check. Another shop I have been using for years is no longer in business. I found 101 here on yelp. I have to say that it was a very good experience. I had 2:00 appointment, they were right on time and had me out of there in about 20 minutes. The waiting room is a tad shabby, but what the heck. 101 will nicely replace the old shop I previously used. I highly recommend. read more

I have been a returning customer here for 7 years now, and RJ always takes great care of me. He was able to get me in and out quick. And did an amazing job with my somewhat tricky older vehicle. I will be back next time I am due for a smog! Best place in town! read more

I have been going to this small family owned business for years. They are reliable, friendly and very reasonable!

Accidentally made the appointment for the wrong day, showed up after their lunch with no appointment and they had me out in 20 minutes.
