I rarely write reviews (2nd ever on Yelp) but I had to write one for Adrian. If you're like me, I have an intense phobia of getting ripped off, especially by lawyers, car salesmen, and mechanics. Regarding the latter, I've had the hair pulling encounter of replacing parts that I didn't need and then finding out that the mechanic created more problems than he fixed. Well, I've known Adrian for over 3 years now and can't say enough good things about him. Right off the bat, you can tell he keeps it real with both diagnostics and repair. One difference at D1 is that Adrian takes the time to explain what's wrong in a simple way THEN he suggests his repair without any pressure. And he's got a good sense of humor about it all. I had been putting off some minor car repairs and came across Adrian through a mutual friend. I dropped off the car and he got on inspecting and thoroughly checking out the car based on a report I had from the dealership as well as everything else with the car. It was a very long list that needed to be checked. He sent me photos and all the reccommendations I needed to keep the car running. Keep in mind it is a 2006 Infiniti so things just started falling apart. He got the car back up in running with in a few days, even with COVID issue he was very detailed and professional and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the end result. About one week ago, on a toasty 100° F July summer day, my Honda Accord's AC decided to only blow warm air. It felt cooler outside, than inside my car, with the AC "on" and the windows up. I tried going the route of a quick fix, and took it to a Valvoline/Mr. Carwash to get my AC fix. While Valvoline fixed the AC temporarily, a quick 30 minute drive out the door and my AC was back to square one - blowing out warm air. I was referred to D1 Autoworks through a close friend. This is my first Yelp review! I've been having some problems with my car the past week and I had no idea how to explain it to Adrian. He was really patient listening to me and then said he'd drive my car around the block so he could see for himself (because clearly my explanation was trash lol). He took it up to look under the car and immediately found out what was wrong and fixed it in a few minutes for no charge. It was literally just a dangling flap scraping the ground that caused a terrible burning smell and I thought my car was going to explode any second. Anyways, he was super nice and super fast.
