The paint job Portland Painting & Restoration did on our 100+ year-old Portland bungalow was…read morenothing short of exceptional. Our home was in need of difficult prep work, experience in correctly working with the potentiality of lead paint, undoing and repairing the previously shoddy workmanship, and taking the necessary time, patience, and care to give our home the love it deserved to look like always wanted it to. Comparing PPR with other painting contractors we worked with is night and day. It was immediately apparent that PPR was better trained and more accustomed to working on older Portland homes than anyone else. The amount of care and craft they put into the prep needed for our house was exactly the attention to detail you'd want to see in a project like this. And the end result has left us so happy. We have delighted in watching both neighbors and strangers walk by and take pictures of our new paint job, and have loved chatting with them about the exceptional work that was done. Recommending Portland Painting & Restoration has been a no-brainer. All have agreed their work looks outstanding. PPR's communication, transparency, deep knowledge, craftsmanship, skill, *pride in their work*--everything top to bottom--has been top notch. These are the professionals you are looking for. No question about it.

They also communicated every step of the way! Alex was the lead project manager, both times, and is friendly and professional. Zsolt was the lead painter and did a phenomenal job with my space; going above and beyond with attention to detail and making the wall repairs look as though they never needed repairing. Forrest completed some handy work for me, adding the finishing touches to my freshly painted project and allowing for me to love the final product even more! I may have found a lifelong partnership with this paint and carpentry business. Thank you, PP&R, for your consistency, professionalism, and dedication to keeping pricing affordable for the quality of work produced. Until next time.

Guillermo and Alex did a great job painting my bathrooms (including ceilings), and mouldings and…read moredoors throughout my condo. They worked really hard the whole time and were perfectionists about quality. I had a hiccup with my job -- I had a big sticker on my closet doors and it took off paint when I removed it! Jeff worked out a solution with me, to take the doors off-site and sand them all the way down. I appreciated that he didn't charge me full price since it was an unexpected cost. I also had a hiccup with a door that wouldn't close properly after painting. (It was probably a very tight fit before painting). This door also needed some off-site work to shave down the top, so it would close correctly. The team came back on a Saturday morning to bring me the restored closet doors. These little pain points come up with lots projects. You need a company that will take care of things when everything doesn't go perfectly. ESP will make sure everything is taken care off.

A couple weeks turned into over a month because life happens and I recently sent him an email asking him if he was still interested or what happened or if he had anything for me from our meeting I don't know what happened but communication went to nothing and I feel like I was ghosted after our first meeting, which sucks because I was really excited with all the ideas that he had given me for a remodel of my kitchen that is not incredibly user-friendly at the moment.
