My wife got the Club and I got the Reuben and both were excellent. The gentleman behind the counter helped customize my sandwich to my liking. The restaurant inside was tightly packed but there was plenty of spots outside in the sidewalk to enjoy your sandwich. My only issue with this place was the price. Maybe it's me but I have hard time living in a world where two sandwiches and a bottle of water is 50 bucks. Was it high quality, you bet. But it's still a sandwich. Either way, I definitely recommend this spot and would come back.

I wanted to give this place a 3 but the service was amazing and they were fast so I bumped it to a 4. I'm kind of a sandwich snob being from the east coast so I didn't love this place. The heater wasn't as good as we were expecting. The Italian saved it but I've never seen an Italian with brown mustard. I thought maybe it would be a hidden secret but I wasn't a huge fan. Still give this place a try because they have a huge menu!

Service was great, small little spot we visited in Golden. We all agreed that the sandwiches were a bit dry but overall generous portions! We got the Golden Club and Prime time

D'Deli is a staple in Golden. I remember going there many times during college and had to visit recently to relive my college days and have a delicious sandwich. We got a TMI, Dalton, and a Camper. The TMI and Dalton were exactly as I remember: delicious and fresh-tasting. The Camper was honestly a little disappointing. It felt like I was eating mostly bread with a bit of Nutella and the other ingredients. Service is great with good conversation with the employees. I will say that I think the sandwiches are a bit expensive for what you get especially if you only get a half sandwich. The sandwiches are delicious either way though. I highly recommend getting a sandwich from here and then walking over to beautiful Clear Creek and enjoying your sandwich while watching/listening to the creek. Life is great sometimes!

Was really excited to try this place and they have so many delicious sounding sandwiches. I ended up getting the Piggly Wiggly and really enjoyed it. The bread is a bit dry so I recommend getting it toasted as a panini! Will definitely be going back for one

A classic Golden sandwich shop that's been open for as long as I can remember! They've got a variety of delicious, creative sandwiches to choose from, or you can build your own. The bread can be a bit dry, but if you opt to toast your sandwich I think it can help! Beware of the lunch rush, you might have to wait a bit. Staff is friendly and patient. There's limited indoor and outdoor seating, so not great for big groups--but you can easily take your sandwich to go enjoy by the creek or the nearby parks.

Very cute little sandwich shop. My friend and I got the Greek and added turkey - it was delicious and fresh! Service was quick and efficient. My one knock is that the bread was a bit dry, but next time we're back I'll just add some hummus on the sammy.

The Beef & Reef sandwich is super unique. Roast beef, seafood salad, cocktail sauce, cream cheese - a little crazy but delicious

There are very few sandwich shops in the country with offerings as creative as what they serve up here. I'm sure you can get yourself a turkey sandwich with cheddar and mayo, but if that's what you are looking for, I would recommend a nice, safe chain type place where you can drift off to sleep while eating something mediocre you've had a thousand times. This is where the action lives. This is the Fast & Furious of sandwich shops. I am fairly certain Vin Diesel made my sandwich. These sandwiches are crazy and delicious. I am baffled when I see a negative review. Just look at the line people, not to mention what most reviews say. You're going to love it. My favorite is the Gold Hill. It's literally unlike any sandwich I've ever had. The roast beef is delicious, the jicama gives it fresh crunch, the beets give it a subtle earthiness and the blue cheese aioli is tangy and delicious. There's other glorious ingredients too, but I'm already getting too hungry thinking about this. The line does move quickly, and yes, the sandwiches will run you about $15 to $18. The wait and money are worth it. Make sure you stop.

Sandwich, only $15 more then it should be

First off, the bread is a huge letdown--it has a Wonder Bread-like consistency, soft and uninspiring, like they picked up each loaf at a grocery store. For a place charging nearly $20 per sandwich, I expected something far better. Even Subway's bread feels like a delicacy in comparison. Sure, they offer a lot of options, but what's the point when the foundation--bad bread--is so weak? I could throw a bunch of ingredients on a $5 Walmart loaf and get the same experience. Unfortunately, D Deli just doesn't live up to the hype Maybe the heated sandwiches are better - but I'm not giving another chance to it

Sandwich shop in Golden with a good vibe and unique menu! Service was personable and quick. Go ahead and get a whole sub as it's only $2 more than the half - will be good leftovers!

Since the family is Celiac and we're not, we needed a little glutenous snack before the gluten-free holiday. This spot is located in an unassuming shopping center next to a few specialty shops and a Burger King. We went in and there was a line of people waiting to pick up their cheese boards for the next day. We checked out the menu as we waited, watching the beautiful boards come out one after the other and deciding if we should just order a board to take with us. We went with the Bay of Pigs - their Cubano style sandwich with a side of the southwestern pasta salad. After grabbing a table and drooling over more of the gorgeous cheese trays that walked out, they brought our sandwich over to us. While small, it was still generously stuffed with perfectly slow roasted pork, ham, spicy mustard, pickles, cheese and an interesting addition of cabbage that gave it a fun crunch. The southwestern pasta salad was SPICY and studded with small bits of cheese. We inquired about the boards which ranged from $13 - $150, and learned they average about $10/head. Since we needed to get up the hill, we decided to stop by another time to grab one for a future holiday since they offer gluten-free options. Super friendly and quick staff, delicious food, and just a cute atmosphere overall.

I wanted to get out of my bubble and remembered Launch. Hadn't been there in a year and it was a nice homecoming. Plenty of outlets, cranking A/C, and a surprisingly great patio with protective umbrellas on those hot summer days. I asked the baristas if they'd make me a cold brew lemonade and though confused by my request at first, they obliged! Later in the day I ordered an Americano and it was hot and soul soothing. Unfortunately, I do have to give some criticisms on the food I had. Shantytown ($15.50) // Chicken breast, bacon, baby greens, tomatoes, ranch, brioche bun. This simply was not good. The chicken was dry, the greens were dry, hell the bun was dry. For $15 (and no side!) this was a slap in the face to all the great chicken sandwiches out there. There's a chance they forgot the ranch dressing. If they didn't they were just very stingy with it. The bun kept tearing apart as I ate. It was just a really disappointing eating experience. Next time I'll walk over next door instead to grab a bite. I say all the above in hopes of them reflecting on the current menu and hopefully making improvements. I understand pricing is insane right now, but you still have to execute and deliver. And for a coffee shop that I highly doubt is making everything fresh to order (even the bacon was precooked and reheated) there has to be a better way. Food aside, come here for the vibes. Crowded in the morning, emptier in the afternoons. A solid place to work remotely or bring the family. Love how they serve cocktails, beer, and wine too!

They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often . When we walked in, there was a table near the door with order sleeves and paper forms where you build your burger by choosing the meat, bun, cheese, free toppings, and extra toppings. They have a really good selection. I went with a single beef patty on a white bun with American cheese, pickles, raw jalapeños, tomatoes, green chiles, banana peppers, and a large fry. We turned in our order sleeves at the counter and ordered fountain drinks. When we mentioned it was our first visit, the staff gave us a very warm welcome. The young lady behind the counter explained a little about the place and how the ordering process worked, which was much appreciated. The burgers are made to order, so we waited about 10-15 minutes. Honestly, that worked out perfectly because indoor seating is limited, and during the wait we were able to grab a table. They also have outdoor seating, though it was raining when we visited. When the burgers came out, they looked amazing. I'd describe them as a cross between a smash burger and a traditional patty, and I really liked that. My burger was delicious, juicy, flavorful, and messy in the best possible way. The large fries came in the usual paper sleeve, but it was absolutely overflowing, and the fries were hot, fresh, cooked to order, and excellent. This was honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Great food, friendly staff, cool atmosphere, and a local feel that big chains just can't touch.
