I've recently run into some issues with my property, so my husband and I reached out to this company. I'd like to start off by saying Craig, the owner of the company is a wonderfully compassionate, professional business man. He attended to our every need, took extra time out of his day to thoroughly explain things to me, and was patient when I wasn't understanding. Most importantly, it was obvious both him as well as the other workers were working their backs off making sure they did everything perfectly. The quality of work is fantastic, and I can confidently say that I know for a fact I will not be needing any work done on my chimneys for MANY years to come. The timeliness of responses were almost immediate, and there was always perfect open communication. You're not getting nickel-and-dimed for the work you get done, he also does a great job at going over that information with you. This company is ABSOLUTELY going to be our forever go to for any issues that may arise with other properties. I met Craig from DC Chimney Services through a recommendation from a real estate agent to get a chimney inspection. After his inspection, he made the recommendations and got the chimney swept, chimney crown repaired and sealed. Not only I appreciate his knowledge, but he is a quick, sincere worker. He is the kind of person that not only performs the requested work but pays attention to what else might need attention and his work is reasonably priced. You can tell he cares about the quality of his work, and about us as well. Later in the spring I contracted Craig for pressure washing the house. Also, for cutting about 8-10 trees in the front yard and removing the stumps. We decided to apply mulch in the area and definitely love how the front of house looks now. Closer to summer I contracted Craig for replacing the window shutters in the house, and more tree work clearing the backyard. About 8-10 dead trees were removed, along with vines, removing leaves, trimming the good trees, and applying mulch. It made the house look so different. This was the last work (as of this review) that I had contracted, and I definitely recommend his company. read more

I was in desperate need to have an unused chimney stabilized. I searched in my local area, with no results. Then after contacting a local wood and pellet stove supplier, they supplied me with a couple of company names. First I reached out and made an appointment for evaluation. Brian was my first contact, he provided an estimate of needed repairs, and explained them in detail. I elected to have the work done. On the next appointment I met Craig, he fully examined my chimney and explained in detail what needed to be done prior to proceeding. He and Brian did an excellent job, I am well pleased, they also coated the chimney with a protective sealant, and left the area in a clean manner. Great Job! This company was outstanding. Extremely professional and I knew right away that they are very clearly experts and knowledgeable. Importantly to me, they were able to resolve my issues in short order. I needed to have my chimney swept, but also needed a number of repairs which they completed in a timely manner...important to me as temperatures were below freezing. Craig and his crew were prompt, efficient, reasonably priced and took great care to not leave a mess. My chimney was inspected and cleaned on the fireplace, and cracks in the masonry repaired, pellet stove exhaust cleaned and dryer duct cleaned. I would highly recommend them.
