My daughter had her first lesson with Coach Cassie today. The lady at the front was very welcoming. Cassie was amazing with my 8 year old. We are wanting to focus on the basic mechanics and fundamentals of softball and Cassie did just that. She was able to connect with my daughter and they both had fun. We can't wait to go back.

    Fun at the batting cage.

Old broken equipment. Staff not present to help. The other dbats in the area are much better. Skip.

Awesome trainers and camps for the kids. Batting cages are great, I'll definitely be coming back again.

Modern facility with private lesson areas as well as both baseball and softball options. The cool thing is you can pick whether you want low, medium, or high pitches and either fast ball or curve ball which is a nice feature in case you want to work on specific fundamentals. You pay before hand and they give you a card that you swipe each time you want to go. They provide bats and helmets and have sizes for every age and shape. Pro tip; bring a batting glove or two as those inside stingers can really give you a zolt! I think we paid like 30 bucks and both hit like 6 or so times (each was around 15-17 pitches if I remember correctly). We were done and still had some money left on the card for next time. Giving it 3 stars mainly due to the fact that you have to pick up your own balls and put them in a bucket/dump them back in the machine. All the other cages I used to go to as a kid, like 25 years ago, the balls automatically went back into the machine. Oh well...not a huge deal, but kind of a pain. Overall would highly recommend for kids and adults!

I could not possibly be more impressed with 180 Performance Center & True Grind Systems. The…read morefacilities, location and -- most of all -- the coaches and instructors are exactly what I was hoping to find for my nearly-7-year-old son. I saw an ad in the Community Impact for the 180 Performance Center "Youth Summer Baseball Camp", and signed my son up for a week in late-July, 2022. He had an absolutely awesome experience! There were 3 coaches for roughly 20 kids; everyone got plenty of individual attention; and I could see a quantifiable improvement in my son's skills and confidence each and every day. Here's what was most impressive about the coaches: they reward EFFORT just as much (if not more) as results. Even if the kids made an error, the coaches were quick to praise the work they put into trying to get it right. It cannot be overstated how important that is to me -- and to every kid, really. I was lucky enough to play professional football in my heyday, and -- even though I don't know the first thing about baseball -- I do have the luxury of perspective that young athletes don't have. All of the coaches and instructors have professional and/or college experience; they know what it takes. Instilling the mindset of "always trying to get it right instead of always being right" is so vital to sports development, and life-in-general development. It's the practice, the homework, the chores, the manners -- the things they don't give you a trophy for -- that lay the foundation for a good life. It's apparent that 180 Performance Center and True Grind Systems was founded on this credo. One of the founders and owners I had the pleasure of meeting, Mr. Tom Snell, epitomizes this mindset, and only hires instructors and coaches that share that mindset. It's the perfect place for my son to develop as an athlete and as a human being; my only regret is that I didn't find this place sooner. If you're a parent or player who has seen too many coaches fixated on "winning-at-all-costs" instead of stressing development and fundamentals, then you know exactly what I'm talking about. Thank you to Mr. Snell, the coaches (Austin, Bryson and Tyler), and everyone else involved with 180 Performance Center & True Grind Systems. It has unequivocally been one of the best experiences of my son's young life!

I had a coupon for me and a plus one to have a reserved seat for free at the Dell Diamond, and I wanted to take advantage of it. I convinced my buddy to go with me to an opening series game where the Round Rock Express faced the Gwinnett Stripers. We agreed to go on a Wednesday to get our dollar hot dog night on. You know how that goes. Of course, going to every sporting event feels like they are going to nickel and dime you. It's $15 for parking, so if you can carpool, I'd highly recommend it. Beers range from $12 for domestic to $14 for craft. Everything is pricey. The hot dogs still remained $2 the whole night. Selfishly, I ate 5 over the nine innings. I didn't eat much through the day, and a decent ballpark dog was calling my name. As for the actual game, it was over by the second inning. The night was very windy, so no balls had a chance to go yard. The Stripers scored 6 runs at the top of the 2nd and it was 7 scoreless innings for the Express. Ay caramba. The nice gentleman in front of us was at the game with his wife and gave us good conversation. We watched kids rabid for the flying foul balls. Sometimes the game isn't even the most entertaining part because the stadium has a story of its own. The hot dogs were very nice. At a dollar, they could be lukewarm, soggy, and wrinkled, but they were dense, flavorful, and actually pretty good. Sometimes I wonder if dollar dogs are cheaper and they probably are, but you couldn't fool me. They weren't jumbo quarter-pound dogs by any means, but they were a normal quality-sized wiener. I drank a draft of the Love Street Blonde, one of my favorite common craft beverages, and got a can of Michelob Ultra from a very nice hawker that I obviously tipped. I just don't really like Michelob Ultra, I realize. I took a stroll through the Dell Diamond before leaving and there's a lot of cool spots from their yard in the back, which is great for just relaxing during the game, though the view isn't the most ideal for the action (great for bombs though). There's a full bar as well with baseball simulators and TVs showing other games, but if I'm paying money to park and watch a game, maybe that's not the move IMO. Regardless of the Express getting rocked by the Stripers, I had a great time and want to return to more Express games this season. As a young adult, the deals on weekdays are too good to pass up. Thursday might be a move in the future for those $4 domestics, $7 drafts, and cheaper food options around the park. Maybe next time the Express will get more runs than hot dogs I ate.
