Now, 2 years in the paint is still blistering. I thought of contacting Lamar yesterday as I'm a neighbor and drove by seeing a customer vehicle open to the elements (heavy rain). His response was disgusting and unprofessional. I'm so sorry I recommend his shop to so many people. Their work was outstanding and they definitely had my best interests in mind when figuring out what to do and how to do it. I was greeted upon entering the office and was taken immediately to wait in a nice, comfortable waiting room with tv, magazines, beverages and snacks. The repairs were completed within the time frame they promised, and the car ran beautifully once on the road. I love the very detailed scope of work with fees that they provided, in addition to receiving an email a few days later with a link to their website where I could schedule a future appointment and even see a history of all the work that had been done on my car. That last feature I really appreciate and relieves me of the necessity of having to search through my auto records to see what work had been done in the past and what still needed to be done in the future. Needless to say, I highly recommend Auto Intensive Care.

I dropped off the car at the service desk and looked at a new Ascent for a bit while there. First all that new Ascent is really a nice SUV. There was a salesman on the lot so I asked him if we could take a drive and he politely said not unless we were serious about buying and since we were here on vacation the dealership preferred that he spend his time on potential customers. I guess I understand but it was the middle of the day and the showroom was empty. I am not upset but was surprised as I did buy a car a few years ago on vacation at their sister dealership next door. A few minutes later the service department advised they were finished and had even washed my Outback as well. The service department was very friendly and the dealership was fantastic. They have a great waiting area and a beautiful showroom as well. Overall a good experience.

The final straw was when I received an estimate of $3600 plus $200 for diagnostic to fix secondary air injectors on my 2008 Toyota Tundra (named Semper Fi after my late father-in-law). After checking Mitchell's excellent reviews, I took a chance with their $135 diagnostic exam. Two days later, it was only a minor repair from a squirrel or rodent chewing through the wires! My total bill came to $475, to include an oil change and tire rotation!! We are picking him up today and our prayers of finding a trustworthy business to service our vehicles is finally over. I will use them in the future. They don't have a shuttle service. I only spotted 4-5 chairs with a TV. The room was clean and there was a coffee pot. I opted for an Uber ride home at $20.00
