Sam Tuttle was hired to do a build out on our metal building to be an Airbnb. In short Sam Tuttle is an con-artist. He mismanaged the funds for the job he was hired to do. He lied about how he spent the funds. He asked for more money when he knew he was going on vacation. Then he asked for the entire amount of the project when his agreement stated "three installments as the project moved forward." He refused to follow our vision. He did things his way and when we asked him for explanations he said he was going to need more money. In a meeting in our home he insulted our guest when they asked him a question. He got into a screaming match at our front door because he didn't want to answer legitimate questions about the concerns we were having. On this same day he walked off the job. Sam said he was a Christian and that he was honest. He was recommended by a close family friend which is why we hired him. There were huge discrepancies about how the money was spent. He told us different amounts on three different occasions which he why we wanted to talk to him. We knew based on the material at the job site and the number of days he worked that there was no way he could have spent all of the first installment. Because Sam walked off the job in anger we asked him for an amount we believed he should return to us. He agreed to this amount in an email and then has refused to pay us. He does not return our emails, he does not return our texts. This is the first time I have ever left a bad review for anyone. In this case, it is the right thing to do. Sam Tuttle is not ethical. He took advantage of me and my 82 year old mother. He lied to us. He mismanaged the funds and walked off the job in anger. I do not suggest you use him for any service. We regret trusting in him and allowing him into our home. Do not use his services. Stay away!!

We reached out to Isaac initially when we were preparing to put our home on the market. We were…read morelooking for a full service company to help us with a variety of repairs, and after reading several good reviews, we emailed for an estimate. Isaac responded immediately and offered to come take a look a couple days later. We had had problems with communication with several other vendors, so this was already a great improvement. He showed up on time and we had a written quote within a week for fence repairs, deck repair and painting, cabinet painting and hardware installation, and a few other small painting/patching jobs. We got 3 other estimates (none of which could do all of the different things I Renovate was able to do) and I Renovate's price was by far the best. The deck and fence work started immediately and were completed in a timely manner and turned out great. Isaac made an effort to stay in communication with us to check in and make sure we were on the same page about the interior work we were waiting to do after we moved out. During and after we moved out, we discovered several other minor repairs that needed to be addressed. Isaac worked with us to accommodate the extra work at a very fair price and stayed until everything we added was completed. He and his team were friendly and professional, and their work was quality. Here's where I Renovate really went above and beyond. While painting cabinets in the kitchen they discovered the water line that connected to the refrigerator was leaking. This has nothing to do with the work they were doing, but instead of just letting us know, Isaac went to Home Depot to try and replace the cap and fix the leak to save us the trouble of having to call a plumber. In the end the line had to be replaced, and we did have a plumber out, but we so appreciated Isaac's efforts to save us time and money. Not to mention, how much damage the leak could have caused had they not noticed it! Isaac's team replaced and painted the dry wall that had to me removed by the plumber, and at the end of the day you couldn't tell there had ever been a problem. I would recommend I Renovate to anyone. They know how to communicate with customers and don't cut corners. They are skilled in a lot of different areas, which eliminates the need to have multiple vendors (which is a huge headache). We plan on having them build an interior wall in our new house to create an office space soon. So glad we found I Renovate!

I had been meaning to do a bunch of repairs on my house (which is just about 13 years old and remediated 6 years ago) and was trying to reach out to different people to do different jobs with varying levels of success. The result was a backlog of things to do and coordinate with different parties. I originally reached out to David for some help with repairing a shower door that had fallen off. He replied quickly and showed up to do his estimate as scheduled. While he was over, he looked at a bunch of the other things that I needed to have done and offered to do them as well. He repaired everything in one day only a few days later. I have to applaud David for his courage to start his own business. But this makes sense for him. He knows he is good at what he does and he is organized. He is highly professional in his correspondence. He will outline precisely what he intends to do. He is timely. He is versatile in the tasks that he can perform. He possesses initiative. And he will follow-up with thorough documentation of what was done and needs to be done. Payment is also easy and he accepts a number of modalities. I have attached some of the pictures he took for the various jobs including: 1. Window blind replacement 2. Water valve and supply line replacement (more details below) 3. Ceiling fan remote control failure diagnosis 4. Watersealing of door threshold (more details below) 5. Tub spout repair 6. Shower door repair and adjustment (I contacted a bunch of people who would not offer to do this) 7. Sliding door repair (which another contractor said they would fix but never did) I want to comment in particular on his ability to diagnose problems. For the longest time, my kitchen faucet had slow flow. Just the kitchen faucet. Over the years, I contacted perhaps 3-4 different plumbing companies. They recommended ridiculous things like increasing the water pressure to the house (which didn't make a lot of sense given that the other faucets were fine and was impossible because the pressure was already maximized) and even replacing the faucet altogether (which would cost $220 for the same model and not resolve the underlying problem). David diagnosed the problem as excess calcium build-up in the valves and he was right! He knew the answer when all the professional "tradesmen" did not. I also have what some people would call a "lemon" for a house. The contractors that built it did bad job. It was remediated but even after this remediation, I had problems. One of them was the balcony door which would leak water when it rained. I contacted the builder and they said that my second warranty had expired and they recommended how to repair it. Suffice to say that they were completely wrong and David uncovered some pretty shoddy workmanship and commented on the unorthodox remediation which would lead to the problem. I should have had David remediate my house. Overall, I am exceedingly happy to have stumbled upon this gentleman and would be pleased to refer him to others. He is basically the "doctor" you want for your house. I hope he stays in business a long time.
