Cheese pizza Italian style crispy extra sauce
Nucky T.

Great pizza place in Canton. Many years in business and an asset to the town. The Italian thin crust pizza is great .I order mine extra sauce and crispy and it comes out perfect every time. The salads and subs and wings dings are all great. The delivery is always fast and served warm with friendly drivers.

Still the best pizza in Canton, but the Italian subs are what really make this place special.

Does anyone know how big a large Italian style pizza is at D&E? My summer camp usually orders slices for the size, but we feel like they have been gettin expensive and want to try somewhere new!

I loved this bare bones, cash only establishment that serves nothing but pizza & beverages…read more Established in 1949, I don't think the wood paneled, formica table decor has changed one bit. There is absolutely nothing fancy about this place, but the pizza is delicious & you can get a glass of decent Cabernet Sauvignon for $7.50, so I'm not complaining. The most expensive pizza is $15.60. My green pepper, onion & banana pepper pie with very light cheese was $14.40. I briefly considered the unusual beans, onion & salami pie but wasn't brave enough this time. While they do offer combos, you can mix & match any toppings you choose. The thin, crispy crust was perfection. There were 6 in my party & we each ordered our own pizza & drink. They had no problem with separate checks. While it's definitely a dive bar atmosphere, they had a pretty awesome jukebox and a full bar. There is a separate section off the decent sized parking lot for take-out. The small dining room was full the entire time we were there, although there wasn't a wait to get in. I wish I had ordered another pie to bring home. You can get them half-baked to finish in your own oven. Looking forward to returning the next time I'm near Randolph.

The actual owner noticed i had not been there before and made it a point to come over! 5, i can say this is an AMAZING PIZZA! A combo of a bar pizza with a rustic crust. Under carriage a 10 ! 6. I brought it home and the combo of the sauce, cheese crust and toppings were top notch! People say that good customer service has gone by the way side these days......not only was the staff ( sweetest bartender ) , along with the owner who was so appreciative for new business, but the patrons.....the patrons were so friendly ! While i was making my way to the ladies room almost everyone made it a point to make eye contact and say hello! I CANT WAIT TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE ON THE MENU! THIS PIZZA AND THE VIBE IS TOP NOTCH! Thank you lou! Happy easter ! I am so goad i found you guys! No stone unturned! A little spot in the cut, you lay drive right by it......trust me.....turn around and look again !

Well, it was 12 bucks. It had some other bbq sauce and not the classic James River. It was on a bulkie roll. Roast beef meat was not at all bad, but no seasonings. Cheese not melted, as orange American ? Not enough meat for 12 bucks, needed to be on a butter toasted onion roll. Quality of roast beef was very good. I wouldn't write home to Nona from war about what a great sandwich it was... Mak's in Norwood just a block or two down the street a better Northshore style roast beef .... Or Kelley's in Dedham The roast beef sandwich at Lambert's ibeit not a Northshore style but all better... Lou needs improvements to be able to get near a 10 rating. Bag of chips with it... didn't need , reduce a buck and skip the chips. Was worth a try...pizza good there as well .

The peppers weren't spicy but added perfect acid to the whole pizza. The dough was amazing and it was flawlessly cooked (which for a true Napolitano pizza is a challenge) which is a good sign for any pizza from here. The wife had the Gnochetti which had the important trick of knowing to mix the gnocchi and the short rib into one amazing concoction. Trust me on this one. We closed with the Nutella pizza which I've had at numerous other restaurants and Ciao's was hands down the best ever. Make sure to save room for this... seriously. We really fell in love with Ciao! and will 100% be coming back the next time we're in town.

We found the folks here to be so welcoming and genuine in their desire to provide a delicious meal and experience. This is a small casual cafe with takeout service and a small eat in space and in good weather, outdoor seating, though limited. Excellent prompt service by the charming staffers. Four of us shared the Fungi pizza and the Margherita pizza. Both were delicious with a crisp thin crust and so fresh tasting. In addition we tried a plate of their Short Ribs which tasted homemade for sure. The menu also offered several pasta choices. The desserts shared were cannoli, tiramisu and a mousse. All delicious. This is a definite "return to" pizzeria.

Stopped in based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Yelp. Showed up around 7pm on a Sunday…read moreand it was near capacity but we were able to be seated right away. The dining room is fairly small with some bar seating available as well. It was clean and bright. It took about 7 mins for the server to come over and she lead with "are you ready to order?" I guess simple pleasantries are useless anyway. We knew our drinks and appetizers order but not what we wanted for pizza yet so we ordered those and told her we'd order pizzas when the apps and drinks came. She came back about 3 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order yet. Feeling pressured, we ordered thinking that perhaps they close soon (not the case). The bartender delivered our drinks a few minutes later and about 5 mins after that both the appetizers and pizza arrived at the same time. Besides the fact that our table wasn't large enough to accommodate all that food and drink, it was never our intention to eat our appetizers with our meal. The good news is that the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The potato bombs were excellent. Crispy home fry like potatoes and the peppers had a nice heat. I would love to try the popper version next time. The pizzas were good too, but be prepared for floppy and slightly under done base crust but a perfectly charred edge crust. I find many wood fired pizza to come this way but I did see other reviews mention this as a negative. The bill comes in a small ball jar with a delicious rice crispy treat. While the jar worked it must have made it hard to see that I dropped my credit card in it, so after the waitress walked by a few times I removed the card and made it visible on the table. When the tab came to sign I was not given a pen. I should have walked out and just let them charge me for just the tab but I cannot stiff waitstaff, even when it's poor service. My only hope is that it was the waitress's first day and she somehow figures out the typical cadence and procedure involved in waiting tables. Food was a solid 4 but service was a 2 so I landed on a 3. I would definitely go back hoping for a better server.
