I used this service 1 time and never looked back, till 5 years later when I had to move from Dallas to Austin. Man, I wouldn't have ever stopped using them had I not moved and even asked if they had services in Austin. I don't recommend any one do this, but It got to the point where I'd just leave my place while they cleaned and went to the gym for an hour or so leaving the apt unattended. Again don't do that, it's just not safe. Also, after some time, I no longer even bothered checking on things and just knew it would be cleaned properly. They never moved things around so that you end up losing stuff and never got in the way. I'd give 6 stars if I could. Now I'm dreading getting a new cleaning service. read more

I did not get ahold of him through the call but texted him at the number listed like his voicemail said and received a reply and quote within a half hour. However, over the last 3 weeks they have cancelled cleanings three times in a row, including one of the times they just forgot to show up. The owner made no attempt to make this right. They didn't offer to try to reschedule at a time convenient to me or offer a discount. Didn't even get a phone call with an apology. After doing some research on the internet, I decided to go with D&E. Although I had a little bit of difficulty getting David to respond at first, after that he was absolutely wonderful. The easiest way that I've found to communicate with him is through text, and he is very responsive and professional. Before our cleaning, he went through all the details of how everything worked. He even knocked off $10 the initial price because he felt bad about not responding to me in a timely fashion. During the cleaning, he asked my preferences on certain things. After they were done, he asked me to inspect everything and let him know if there was anything that he needed his crew to address further. They advertise that they have the lowest prices around the area, and after researching quite a bit, I realized they do. This doesn't mean they skimp on service! David responded to each of my emails in a promptly manner, most of them after work hours. He answered each of my questions nicely. (I had many.) I can't say enough good things about this company. Highly recommend! They just finished cleaning my apartment townhome for a move out and did a phenomenal job. They were on time for the appointment (which is important as I was traveling down from Allen) and did not take a long time (about 3 hr) but did a very thorough cleaning. I was able to run errands downtown and they gave me a 20 min heads up that they were almost done which is also important when you're basically killing time. We just started using D&E Cleaning Services here at Camden Farmers Market. With crazy work schedules and busy lives having someone come in and help our lives sparkle is awesome. D&E Cleaning Services' prices are very competitive and the work is spot on. We started off doing a monthly service but now that we experienced their quality work we are bumping it up to bi-weekly. I would also like to add that is is nice to be able to include some add-on services such as oven cleaning without a huge expense. It is nice to be able to have that extra service when needed. I also needed it done on Saturday, at a reasonable rate. D&E came through. They showed up on time and there was no issue of "where do I park?" "How do I get there", like a lot of cleaning services in downtown...David knew exactly where to go and what to do. The condo had been "cleaned" when the previous tenant moved out....but David immediately recognized and pointed out all the little things that were missed and/or done incorrectly. D&E Cleaning service has been a blessing. I moved into a newer townhome next to Baylor hospital (close to downtown Dallas) and have been using their services for about 6 months. I can say without hesitation that the entire process has been a blessing. There are a lot of things I was looking for in a cleaning service and they have met and/or exceeded them all. One thing I want to specifically point out is that they really do offer a very quality cleaning service. I'd consider myself on the "picky" end of the spectrum, and I tried 2 services before settling with D&E Cleaning Service. They just do everything very well, and they go above and beyond to do the "little things" that will make you take notice. I could write a few pages on the specific things I like about their service, but I can sum it up by saying their level of quality comes from their attention to detail. David and his team are an absolute pleasure to work with. One thing I like about David is that he really likes to get feedback. He wants to know what he and his team did well, and things they could do in the future to be even better. He's not just listening, he's really writing this stuff down, and using feedback as a tool. In regards to price, I think its really good deal. Pricing in home cleaning services varies so much, but with D&E I can say that you're getting a very good value. They offer a lot of packages that allow you to save even more. Lastly, they're always on time, which is obviously important, so just another check in their box. My tub has never been cleaner! I left for work with a dirty apartment and returned to the cleanest it has ever been! I have a 2 bedroom apt and i was quoted a very reasonable price. I left a key for them and when i returned home, the key was in the same place. My packages were even inside! These guys are awesome! Communication when they arrived and when they left and told me to let them know if anything wasn't up to my standards and they would fix it within 24 hrs. Everything was above and beyond!! I have used David for about a year and a half now. He and his team are very professional and he always makes sure you are 100% satisfied. I initially reached out to him to clean my condo on a semi regular basis because of his very positive yelp reviews (which are all true). His quote was more competitive than other cleaning services I looked into unless I wanted to commit to a monthly service. I was working from home the first time he came to clean and I mentioned I would get out of the way as needed. He left the maid at my place while I was working and about 30 minutes later he shows back up to my place with another maid so that they would get done faster and not bother me when I was working. Although I didn't think it was necessary and didn't even ask him to do this, it shows that from day one he always makes sure he puts the customer in mind first. After about six months, I decided I wanted my condo cleaned on a monthly basis to keep up with the dog hair from my yellow lab. Each month David will text me a few days before it's been a month since my last cleaning confirming a day for the next cleaning. I never have to remind him or request a cleaning. If the day doesn't work then he is more than willing to accommodate your schedule. He will also text you about 30 mins before your scheduled cleaning to let you know he's on the way. Typically I'm not even home when he and his team come to clean so I won't do my walkthrough until I get home after work. However, he always texts you after the cleaning is finished to let him know if anything needs more attention once the cleaning is done and will send someone over the next day to address it. Luckily, his team is phenomenal and I've never had an issue but he is more than willing to make it right if something isn't to your satisfaction. I have referred David to several of my friends and they also use him now. If you need someone to clean your place then David is the guy to reach out to. You will find his prices very reasonable and he treats you like you are his only customer from day one. He also accepts Venmo and uses all of his own cleaning supplies which is very convenient. They had some reason that it wasn't their fault (although it seems obvious that the glasses were just stepped on) and ultimately they refused to pay me back. I don't understand what the point of claiming to be insured is if you don't remedy your mistakes. Very disappointing and a huge breach of trust. I have used D&E for almost three years at the referral of a friend and could not be happier. At first, I used them just occasionally for cleanings. However, they assisted with my move out cleaning for one of my apartments and since then I asked for monthly cleanings. I don't have to worry about scheduling as they reach out consistently each month with a few days and times...if none work, they provide additional times and scheduling is always so easy. The crew is amazingly thorough and I have had absolutely 0 issues. I am seldom home during cleaning; the crew has never given me issues at all and it is so great to come home to a clean space! They do the basic cleaning expected but also put away any dishes I have in the dish rack, refold any blankets I might have semi folded and just overall do a great job. Used this service 10 years ago when I lived here and they were the first people I called when I moved back. They are easy to work with and accommodating to my schedule. I am not very trusting of having people in my house when I am not there but I have never questioned Lupitas honesty. I love the fact it is always the same person that comes for that reason. HORRIBLE JOB, BARELY CLEANED, OWNER DAVID EXTREMELY RUDE! Based on good reviews & price decided to try this place out. The cleaning lady came over and I left her with the keys and returned after she was done. Had the entire house picked up and paid in advance. Was assured by the owner I could leave and come back and house would be taken care of. Came home and the main living room carpet was vacuumed and ... that was about it. Kitchen counter tops looked like they hadn't been cleaned at all, literally. Nothing was moved out of the way (eg lamps, small table) for vacuuming and does not appear anything was dusted except the master bedroom's ceiling fan and the dust went to the wall, but they didn't then clean the wall because (per the owner) that's only part of the deep clean. Okay then maybe don't get them dirtier than they were to begin with by throwing dust all around when dusting? On top of this the cleaning lady was also late... that part was not a big deal to me personally but no heads up or anything. Basically the "cleaning" they did I could've done on my own in about 15 minutes, absolutely no exaggeration. I texted and called the owner who finally got back to me a day later and proceeded to call me a liar. Not even joking here. I explained to him that I paid the full price but barely any cleaning was done. At first he offered to send someone back the next day or two to fix it, I was thinking okay that's fair, and was told I could do a walk through that time to make sure job was done. Then no word from him for a couple days and when he finally replied, he changed his mind and proceeded to tell me I was lying. I was literally told that I was "making this up" despite sending pics of my dirty counter and floor. His explanation for why he offered to fix it then changed his mind was that his staff told him I was lying. Sad I even left the staff a tip (expecting the job to be done) and the owner could not refund me for any portion or come back and actually do the job. What a rip off. Will be using other cleaning services from now on. I do not want to have to be at home following around the cleaning staff making sure they clean. And for $140 plus tip I expect the house to look better than as if someone cleaned for just a few minutes and left. Had high hopes based on review but will not waste my money here again. read more
