I really didn't want to write this review, but if it saves someone els from having to go through what I went through and still going through, then it's completely worth it. I made a consultation appointment for lip fillers with Ellen, but when I arrived it was a lady named Vivian. She was super nice and explained the process. I asked if she could do it that day or if I need to schedule it for another day, and right away she said she could do it and told me to sit in the chair. That was one big red flag that I missed because 1. She didn't ask about ANY medical history and 2. She did not have me sign any consent forms or any type of form where the risks are stated. At the start of the procedure I asked if I could only get 1/2 ml done and save half for corrections, she said sure but had to read the box on how to store it... The first injection she did the needle got stuck in my lip and the rest of the syringe came out. I already had anxiety but this made it worse. She took the needle out of my lip and put it back on the syringe while a bunch of product was oozing out. Another red flag. She went on with the injections until Ellen came in, and without saying anything she tells me "you should get the whole ml" when every aesthetician knows that lip filler, especially first time, is best when it's added gradually. I came home extremely swollen and bruised which I already expected, but the following two weeks were terrible. It felt like giant cold sores all over my lips and it looked beyond bumpy with lots of pigmentation that was not present before. However, hoping for the best I waited out the two weeks and an extra week to really give it a chance to settle. But it did not improve. It took 5 days of me calling back to back for someone to answer the phone. I finally met Ellen and she was extremely apologetic, but she wanted to add more filler. It was insane that she even recommended that with the condition of my lips (see attached pics) so I kindly declined. She scheduled me to have it dissolved. I waited a week for it, anticipating the appointment because I knew dissolving lip fillers are painful. On my appointment day I arrived at the office, she told me to go sit in the chair and then proceeded to tell me that the dissolver did not arrive in time .... she didn't even bother to call and tell me over the phone so I didn't have to waste my time and saved my anxiety about the appointment that day. On top of that she didn't schedule me that day and told me to call later in the week. So once again, called, texted, and left a voicemail until someone got back to me and finally scheduled another appointment. When I got to my appointment, Vivian was there for the first time since injecting my lips. They told me to sit in the chair and numbed me. Ellen was in a rush so she barely let the cream sit for 5 minutes before proceeding with the dissolving. The whole time Vivian was standing over me and watching (again without anyone asking me) and asking Ellen questions that a simple google search could answer. Also, if you don't know how to reverse the injections you're doing on people, you should not be doing it in the first place. Due to not being numbed fully, not only did I feel the pain of the needle going in but also the dissolver was extremely painful to the point where tears would not stop coming from my eyes. At the end of the session, Ellen told me to "make sure I put ice when I get home", I literally wasn't even provided ice when my lips where 20 times their normal size (see pic). After 3 weeks went by I still have horribly bumpy lips. Every aesthetician I go to is completely shocked of the way the fillers were injected. I went back to Ellen to try to get this resolved, but at that point she was extremely rude. Everyone knows the injector has to dissolve the filler because they know exactly how deep they placed it, but Ellen claims that she "knows" and Vivian "told" her how deep. Now I'm stuck with lips that have lumps of lip filler that no aesthetician can get rid of. All in all, I wish I did my research before coming to this place because they clearly lack experience and knowledge. read more

Great place, clean office, and friendly staff. I got lip fillers from here and they turned out great, I love them so much I can't wait to get more soon. I've had the fillers done for almost 8 months now and they have gone down from when I originally got them but they still look good. The staff there is very nice and made me feel comfortable since it was my first time tying lip fillers. My lips looked pretty natural after the initial swelling going down. I had photo rejuvenation done here today and the service could not have been any better! Place was clean, procedure and after-care were explain well. My procedure was done by Ellen, who is very welcoming and friendly. I was very comfortable the whole time and treatment was quick and easy. No pain at all. I really wanted to rate this business better but the customer service is lacking. The esthetician's seem knowledgeable especially Nicole. The person who answers the phone is extremely rude. I did write an email to them with my concerns about the lack off a return response to which there was no response. This went on for two months! This is no way to operate a business. Response to review. I do have the right place, perhaps her name is not Nicole, her full time job is at Valley Med. The name of the business implies that employees are esthetician's so for someone who is not familiar with the difference between an Aesthetic and Esthetician it could be confusing. I am positive about the receptionist that called me back after a month because I voiced my concern for not getting a timely call back. She proceeded to call me three times in one day forgetting I had already talked with her. Good luck with your business as you iron out the kinks and move forward. read more

I came here for laser hair removal and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were also very patient with me as I asked questions and were very informative with their responses. As for the laser hair removal, it was nearly painless. The cool air blown at the same time as the laser makes it so I can barely feel the laser at all. Some spots were a bit sensitive like the lowest part of the leg, where it meets the foot. I recommend laser for anyone that's tired of shaving and just wants smooth hairless skin! For those of you that don't know, multiple sessions must be done based on hair thickness and the area (some areas are more stubborn than others as they are more hormonal). This is the worse place to ever get anything done. First of all - Ellen has no idea what she is doing. She is basically using most of her clients to experiment on. I would definitely pay more money somewhere else -where they know what they are doing vs getting the worst possible outcome for 100$ less. It's your body and you do not want her to experiment on you ! Her staff have no idea what's going on , as soon as she takes your money she won't answer your calls, and it is extremely difficult to get a hold of her if there are complications with the procedure(with lack of experience I assure you there will be complications) She did not explain post treatment complications,she had no idea what she was doing and the lip fillers ended up worse than it were before.She is unprofessional, lacks communication skills , and unethical . Ellen from D&E Aesthetics was absolutely amazing during both appointments I've had so far. She answered any questions I had with patience, and grace, and made me feel very comfortable with her sweet personality! I recently won a Botox giveaway, and had my appointment yesterday. I was so excited and nervous since it was my first time ever getting Botox. As soon as I walked in, Ellen was super welcoming. She definitely put me at ease with her positive attitude and I felt comfortable right away. The procedure itself was painless. I hardly felt anything! Just met with Ellen for my fourth session for laser hair removal on my legs, armpits, and bikini line. I have a very low pain tolerance, and Ellen has been very accommodating to any discomfort I've had. The first time I ever attempted laser hair treatment on my bikini line (at a different company), I couldn't even finish the session because it hurt so bad. I had 2 chemical peels, my skin felt tight the next day but other than that I did not see any difference, Vivian suggested me to continue with the peels until I got the desired results and I was going to follow her recommendation but then Tiffany applied 25 units of Botox in my forehead, it was painful, I was sore for over 3 days, I got 1 big bruise and the Botox did not work . This has never happened to me before. I called Ellen a few times and I made 2 appointments after 7 and 10 days, she cancelled both. Friday was officially 2 weeks and the result is the same. I must say, when a company tries hard to make things right and show great customer service D& E Aesthetics are at the top of the leader board. I had a previous rating that I am now updating. In a nutshell, I wanted to set a first timers appointment up. I saw that their website showed weekend hours so I called on a Sunday, and ended up leaving a couple messages, and emails. Come Monday I called again and emailed with no luck. By late afternoon I felt they did not care, so I gave them a bad review. Turns out, they are overhauling their website and will fix their posted hours because they are moving their office in two days. The reason I did not get a return call was their receptionist has been ill. I know all this because Ellen gave me a call, and explained everything. She was so kind, and even squeezed me in on the same we spoke. This was over and above because not only did she want to make it right, but she made sure I had an appointment the day we spoke. I am so happy with my results and how detail oriented she is, especially since being in the beauty industry myself I pride myself on my appearance since I work very closely with women in Salons and at MAC. Ellen saw exactly what I went and went with it, she did a beautiful job. The customer service I've received is beyond the scope, I've been to other medspas and not been as happy, especially since I have limited time to make for myself and they work with you here! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Seriously it's the best. The office is clean and relaxing, Ellen truly knows how to pamper her patients and make them feel comfortable and beautiful.
