The ULTIMATE family-friendly restaurant! Came here after having it on my radar for a super long…read moretime, and was SO IMPRESSED! Top 3 : 1. Kid-friendly Play Room 2. Food is delicious 3. BYOB We came with another couple on a Saturday night and it was amazing to walk into a gorgeous dining room area with a kid play space. Our two boys ages 6, loved having a lego table and toys while the adults loved having a moment of peace at the table! We literally had to beg them to come eat because they were so entertained. Do not think that it is a messy place because it is kid-friendly, quite the opposite, it was so elegant and beautiful inside. Now for the FOOD! Hubby and I ordered a tasting dish they had which included a few Polish favorites to try and it was perfect. It brought 3 different types of perogies (the potato and cheese was my favorite), stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes, kielbasa with sauerkraut, and more! We could taste a little bit of everything and the portion was huge. For our boys we had the chicken fingers and fries, and this sounds silly but it was REAL chicken. It wasn't battered, just strips of seasoned chicken and fries, the kids loved them. We also shared two desserts there was an ice cream with fruit (which was gorgeous) and a cole apple pie. I'm not a huge fan of the desserts but the presentation was incredible. The only downside is that service is a bit slow, but since it is BYOB, just take ur time drinking your wine. Overall I would highly recommend trying out Flavor of Poland and will be returning!

Everyone eating seemed to be enjoying themselves. I went with my husband, son , another couple and their son and it almost felt like a double date. There is a kids section and the two were able to relax play read watch tv and just hangout together. Close enough to see them but couldn't hear them lol. The food was different but definitely would go back to try more things and enjoy the place itself. The plates were beautifully arranged. And it is byob. I ordered the chicken and husband the pork both pretty good. The other couple ordered the polish platter and the kids got chicken and fries and we got for dessert ice cream, apple pie and fruits.

5-Stars it is!! *…read moreCASH ONLY- they have ATM on premise but cash is king! * Make reservations- we had reservations for 7p- but moved it to 5p and glad we did- this little spot fills up fast *BYOB Hubby and I came here to see what all the rave reviews were about and were immediately greeted warmly and with a smile, seated and given menus with an explanation of the specials. We started off with appetizers- which are really great for sharing- perogies for the Hubby and I had the liver dumpling soup- both were fantastic. Hubby had the German mixed salad with his meal, the special was sausage with both chicken and pork Schnitzel and potatoes, I had the sauerbraten with potatoes and we both had a side of the sauerkraut. We took a To-Go of the stuffed chicken breast with mozzarella and spinach and soup, with broccoli and an order of perogies. 2 Root beers, and he had the apple strudel and I ordered the Bienenstich. Our server was Karen- I want to give a huge thank you to her, she was an absolute delight, sweet, friendly and made sure our dinner was perfect, she is wonderful and next time we come for dinner, we hope she is our waitress. Food was incredible, I have not had "family" style German food in probably 13 years if not longer- I used to eat all the time at Alpine Village in Torrance Ca and at Phoenix Club in Brea Ca- both I was a long time foodie at, and never had a bad meal! It is so great to know that Sebastian's is our new place for delicious German food. Dinner for the 3 was roughly $180.00, but before you say "that's a lot", the food is delicious, the wait staff is amazing and both my husband and I gladly pay good money for fantastic food, like what we had here at Sebastian's.

CASH ONLY CASH ONLY…read moreCASH ONLY CASH ONLY Did I mention CASH ONLY So we are thinking about getting Christmas Eve dinner catered from here, so we tried it out yesterday. There was a decent amount of confusion and dialect disconnect, but I believe they have most of their regular menu available. We also ordered a bunch of different items to taste test and we were extremely happy! Let me get into my issue... At no point until I walked into the restaurant, did they mention cash only, oh and check! They take checks! But they never list if on ther website, or any social media sites. They do not mention it over the phone either... so I walk in expecting to pay with card and wham. CASH ONLY... They do have an ATM on site, but to use it, you need an ATM card or a pin on your CC, which I did not have. My FiL had to meet me half way back with cash so I could pay. I really wish they post it online or somewhere people can see before walking in.... I had half a mind to cancel lol! Well that's my gripe! Ordering food, there was a slight language barrier as well. But all in all, it went OK. The lot needs better lighting and or a sign that points to the main entrance. We walked the wrong way and ended up at tables and chairs in storage.... It is very very very homey inside. Very homey. It feels like Oma's living room. With Hummel and biersteins everywhere, and it mean everywhere! Do not bring young kids here lol! It does look nice though! Must but nightmare to dust... Service is unique, the owner was trying to make small talk, and this is after my cash issue, I was kind of zoned out... also had 2 kids that were surprisingly behaving! I got super lucky with that lol! I was able to pay cash and he threw in a few items for free, he gave me a potato soup and a Rahm sauce. Brought the food home and feasted! I got the triple schnitzel combo with Veal, pork, chicken. All were delicious, I like the brown gravy (which had a nice tang) as well as the Rahm sauce with it. By itself it was good, I think they do it more Italian style with only breadcrumbs and no flour, but it was still good. The Veal was the best, but small! The other 2 were very good! I subbed mash for home fries which had sautéed onions and were a great touch, but it needed salt. The sauce helped! I also got a side or spaetzle, which were good but needed sauce and or salt, and did not have much seasoning. But that is German food... I'm not saying its bland, but its sauce heavy! Perogies were absolutely killer! I want a tray lol! Great filling, super soft, great taste! Wife and FiL had the chicken cordon blue, and they were huge!!! They were delicious, but even better with the Rahm sauce. I need a gallon of it lol! Wife liked the Red cabbage, I enjoyed it as well, great flavor. I personally like it sweeter. FiL had the mash and like it. I also got Linzer Tarts which disappeared very quickly lol! Everyone enjoyed them! All in all a great meal, I wish they'd let you know cash only... we look forward to getting catering on Christmas Eve!

I did not have the pleasure of going to Krause's deli before three weeks ago. I did not know you…read morecould dine in and that the place was much larger than you think. In any event I perused the deli area and was very happy to discover an old style deli within my reach. After two local grocery stores with delis' have been gone from this town for several years the only place I thought you could at least get decent deli was Shoprite. Now I have no problem with ShopRite except to say it is always busy and over crowded. Yes you can use the app providing it works and order ahead. Their deli is very well stocked and their products are just fine. But I sometimes long for the days I could just run to the deli and pick up good lunch meats etc and come home where we would make our own sandwiches along with various salads. But walking into Krause's was a delight. Now, I must admit I was reluctant after seeing some of there prices. But I have to admit the value was still there if you looked. I got two jars of various jarred vegetable salads. I thought over priced until I got them home and realized they were stuffed to the top and were two pounds a piece. Personally my opinion is the value was quite worth it. I would rather have a little less of quality than more of something I didn't quite enjoy. Since then I have gone to get some of their specialties homemade soup, perogogies and stuffed cabbage to name a few. Let's not mention the potato pancakes. My mother used to make them with me at her side grating the potatoes and onions with our old grater. We didn't have the equipment then so everything was done by hand. As my knuckles can attest to. It took a long time to grate the potatoes and raw onions with tears running down your face. Then it took my mother a couple of hours frying them over the stove two at a time. It was hot intensive work. But, oh was it worth it. Krause's potato pancakes made me long for the days I spent with my mother.

The Chicken Bacon Ranch and Potato and onion were the other winning flavors in our party of three.) In fact we felt the food was so deliciously prepared that we each purchased frozen versions to prepare at home at a later date. There is a freezer case full of a wide variety of pierogis ranging from mac and cheese filled to dessert types filled with fruits, etc. There are also meats available like kielbasa and turkey meatballs to name a few. The interior was on the smaller side with a few tables and chairs; however, there are also outdoor seating options available as well. The ambiance is relaxed and quiet with great music playing as background noise. One gender neutral bathroom is available. The bathroom is well stocked and extremely well maintained, even decorated with live succulents. The pierogis were served on reusable dishes and silverware were provided. Despite being cooked in oil atop a grill, they were not soggy or greasy at all. They boasted a crisp exterior with soft and perfectly cooked interiors. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful, well seasoned without being overpowering. The lady who was working her shift solo did an incredible job and provided service with precision, positivity, and prompt professionalism. Overall review- highly recommended and we will be returning in the not too distant future. It was certainly worth the 40-minute drive and I can't wait to make the frozen take out versions for dinner next week!
