This store caught my eye due to the bright art and colors inside. I walked in to check the place…read moreout and a nice gentleman immediately greeted me and asked me if I had any questions. I said I was just browsing but that I own some art pieces and I was intrigued by the store. He said every art piece is one of a kind....1/1. No reproductions. All original. Most of the pieces were really large, fit for a large house and/or wall. He said that Avant Home is a new lifestyle concept brand from parent company, Avant Gallery, cross-pollinating contemporary art with furniture design, accessories and decor for inspirational modern-day living. Which is a great idea...... since customers can purchase furniture that would go with a particular art piece they would like to buy...or....the other way around... Depending on the artist, the pieces are in the thousands of dollars range.

Jorge did an amazing job on the old chalk portrait of my grandmother. Though the original framer…read morehad not preserved it properly and there was some damage, Jorge was able to remove it from the old frame and reframe it beautifully with conservation-quality materials. I am SO happy with the result - especially knowing that everything he used will help protect and preserve the portrait for years to come. Jorge's prices are excellent and he has a wide selection of frames and mats (all of very high quality) at very reasonable prices. I will definitely be returning here for the rest of my framing needs. My dad was a loyal customer and I've become one, too!!

I saw a pic of Joseph G. holding wall art produced at CanvasFab. It looked great and he looked…read morehappy in the pic. Tom and I talked about using some of our pics from trips and moments in time as living room wall art. We figured it would personalize the space and remind us of fun times. CanvaFab's site has a nice gallery of work. But what really did it for me was their easy-to-use software that let me upload my pic, try different products and sizes, see my art with my options and get a price for the custom work. We picked 32" x 16" size canvas and were concerned the images might look fuzzy. But on my screen each pic looked great, so we started to put an order together. Then they emailed me a new customer code for 50% off my first order. Yeah baby! That tipped the scale and, willing to take a chance on the picture quality, kept ordering. I got emails during the process - I knew when they got the order and when they shipped the order. They managed my order without being asked - thank you CanvasFab. It's refreshing to just stay out of the way and watch you manage your business. If only more companies would do that...(maybe a handyman wouldn't have installed 2 door knobs on the same door in my house, one on top of the other. I have pics.) The pics came in a box that was well packed. I could have picked up the art in their MIami shop but I opted for delivery instead. The quality was beyond our expectations! We were going to get simple frames but in the meantime we ordered 'mirror edge' pics on canvas - they look so good we are not getting frames! We have some special times coming up and we look forward to sending our pics to CanvasFab so they can work their magic.

I placed an order in November (60x40 Cancas) and they sent me an email saying that I had to wait…read moremore because they couldn't get the color right. The color was supposed to be beige and it was almost pink. They tried again and sent me a picture and it still wasn't right. They asked me if I wanted a refund and I said yes. Then 2 weeks later Paypal sent me an email saying that the refund was canceled. I sent them multiple emails about that, called them and even messaged them on instagram and 0 response. I thought I would give them more time since it was December and I figured they were still on holiday. It's almost February and still no response. Thankfully Paypal is very good about these things and they opened a case against them and will give me my money back!

Monica is an amazing teacher. I was vacationing near Miami and wanted to start learning calligraphy…read moreas a New Year's resolution. I found Monica on a google search and feel like I couldn't have been more fortunate in finding a teacher. Her teaching is so meticulously thought out and the practice lessons are simple yet so precise as to yield excellent results. When she explains the nuances of lettering, breaking down shapes and spacing of letters and and how all of it effects the finished impression, I'll never look at handwriting the same again. She has volumes of books that she put together to help with whatever style calligraphy one is interested in and was able to, with a short conversation, figure out exactly what was best for my goals. I walked in with zero experience and a pretty rough scrawl and am confident with consistent practice with her methods that I will absolutely succeed. I will definitely be scheduling another lesson on my next trip to Florida.

I would like to share my candid review about my experience with Mike. I initially contacted him at…read morethe beginning of November 2025 to inquire about shipping my blank t-shirts and sending him my high-density prints with my logo for heat transfer. He agreed to proceed. I sent my blank t-shirts, which were delivered on November 17, 2025, and then sent my high-density print rubber with my logo on November 28, 2025. However, he did not communicate the labor costs involved. We communicated until December 5, 2025, but I did not hear from him again for nearly three weeks until December 22, 2025. When he finally responded, he explained that he had to step away for business unexpectedly, but he failed to inform me of this situation beforehand. Since December 22, I have not received any further updates. I have called daily and sent an email, but I have not heard back for nearly a month. This lack of communication is unacceptable and reflects poorly on his business practices. At this point, I simply want my items returned, as I am not willing to wait any longer. If you are looking for someone who prioritizes effective communication and values your time, I would not recommend going to Hialeah Printing.
