There is a common scam where someone…read moreuses your address, you give them the package because neighbors help neighbors, and you receive a bill later (if this happens to you please keep close watch over your banking accounts). The package says it's from Fedex, but there's some UPS info as well and the format doesn't really match either based on my experience in shipping. I plugged in all the tracking numbers with both logistics companies and they stated it wasn't theirs. Knowing that I reached out to the number for the shipper, Postal Connections, and spoke with Sherry. She asked for my name and number so she could research and get back to me - totally valid! A little while later I received a phone call from the intended recipient asking if she could pick it up. Which is a hard no, I want this tracked and I'm happy to do a RTS. So, Sherry shared my personal information with a random person that may or may not be a scammer. This person cleary has my phone number now, may or may not have my address, and I'm going to have to take extra time out of my day to figure out how to get this package RTS ASAP.
