I have been receiving unsolicited mailings from realtor (not to mention phone calls, texts and emails) so I try to contact them and ask to be removed from their mailing. One realtor, Ross Seligman, told me they can't stop the mailings because their printer controls it. Their printer, Bear Printing & The Postman, told me basically to pound sand and that if I don't want mail like this that I should stop all mail to my house. Yeah, no. I don't understand how in 2021 that you cannot request that a business stop mailing garbage to my home. read more

Portland has some great printing options. This is not one of them. Here's the email I sent their customer service person: "Thank you for the response. I did indeed approve the card, which I should not have - I was looking at my own info, incorrectly assuming that a company which professes to be a leader in design and marketing would make a postcard with a professional look and up-to-date information. Sadly, I was incorrect. You can be sure I won't be making that mistake again with your company" I wish I could upload a picture of the postcard. Everything received had smudged, which they blamed on the post office, and the postcard itself has outdate information (by THREE YEARS!) and two or three different fonts. I wish I had looked more closely, although their website is almost impossible to navigate. Never again. Save your energy and your money and take your business elsewhere. read more

Don't do it. The price is right, but you're absolutely getting what you pay for from these people. It took three weeks, and phone calls to four different people who all had conflicting stories to get a refund for something that they screwed up. They will talk over you, interrupt you, condescend to you, and flat out lie to you about your order. You'll also have the same conversation again and again, because no one will make a note of why you called. I haven't figured out if it's malicious, or just an abject lack of competence. This is why they charge you up front, before they even see your order. I think their business plan hinges on hoping people will just go away and let them keep the cash. Any time you start to ask a question that consists of more than five words? You get put on hold. With horrific music. It's probably one of my least favorite forms of torture, right after caning but ahead of having my fingernails pulled out. I guess the printing turned out OK? So if you feel like doing all the extra work and phone calls and follow up, by all means, hire them. Otherwise look anywhere else for your printing needs. read more

QUALITY WAS HORRIBLE on our last postcard with them. So terribly embarrassed this went out to our clients. Bear changed our artwork AFTER we approved it, for their stamp - we were very specific to check with us if changes needed. Turnaround time to California was 10 days for first class mail (on a couple of mailings) - that's useless in Real Estate. Find someone local who does not make you look bad! read more

3 days of emailing and calling back and forth with limited information relayed to me about what I do to get my post cards printed properly and finally I get to them in person and Im told theres nothing I can do before this weekend. As they arent open. Now Im left with nothing to be able to door knock as a brand new agent trying to procure business and sell my property. No brainer to not come back. Taking my two star down to a one. Not sure why it's so difficult for them to understand the concept of quality customer service, but it's apparently a bit too difficult for them to wrap their heads around. Robyn has to be the absolute worst! I cringe when I get replies from her - that's when they finally come - if at all. I typically have to follow up two or three times before one of them finally figures out they've dropped the ball again. I will NEVER recommend anyone to use Bear Printing! Despite past troubles, the really cheap prices made me give it another try.HORRIBLE IDEA! I sent the order with details and files TWO WEEKS and even with 12 emails and 3 phone calls I wasn't able to receive the assistance to get the job done. Three business days would pass before getting a response! It took emailing another local printing company once and one phone call to get it all taken care of. It was a simple color issue. I was strolling through a gated community and noticed a wonderful sign post with a weather proof property information board for a home being sold. I was so impressed with this novel idea. No concern about an empty flyer box with this professionally printed board screwed to the sign post. Once home, I contacted Bear Printing and received wonderful training and customer service from "Janelle." Their website is easy to navigate and the finished product epitomizes the high quality that we are known for in our real estate business. Don't be like me and show up at the usual spot ready to pick up prints on a deadline only to be fooled. Terrible customer service from Allen at Bear Printing. I'm an agent based out of WA. I have never had an experience where a company claiming to be a leader in marketing, would not review a product before printing 100 copies of it. Bear Printing promises next day delivery, for an extra charge. Well today they printed 100 door hangers with today's date, knowing they are actually not able to ship them until 3 days later, without calling me with their concern to let me know I won't get these in time for my event. Allen was completely unhelpful. Acknowledged the mistake, but offered NO solution, monetary or otherwise. This is not how a business or company should operate. If I make a mistake, whether my client is warned in fine print that it could possibly happen, I work to correct it. This is just asinine that he accepted offering a crap job. Yes we are a printing company but no we don't do quality assurance. What?! When I make a mistake, I make darn sure to correct it in order for my business to run with referrals and word of mouth reviews. I don't simply tell my client essentially that they are sh*& out of luck, and that I will be keeping their money, knowing they are extremely unhappy, left without any product when they need it. Bear's pricing I give five stars! Their service, follow through and ability to have a hair of common sense I give one star. Countless problems and issues with Bear Printing. The most recent being the for sale flyers I ordered not being delivered to the flyer box on time for the first open house. Keep in mind I confirmed the delivery date twice knowing they tend to drop the ball. After Bear offered to issue a refund, that I have not received, I was somewhat pleased...until days later I found out there were still no flyers in the flyer box. I called Bear right away only to find out they ASSUMED I didn't want the flyers AT ALL and recycled them. How on earth would that make sense in any real estate market, to leave a flyer box empty, with no flyers to capture leads with??? Unreal. I was however told I could reorder the same flyers at the same cost as before. Real helpful. read more

Bear printing ... poor customer service. Be aware that what they offer on their website is just NOT delivered. I placed an order online Thursday evening after conferring with the staff that my print job would be ready the next day. I rec'd an email that the order was rec'd on Thurs eve. At 430pm I called asking if the order was ready...left a message since noon e was answering. They called back...NOT ready..perhaps on Monday. When Jennifer, Manager, called she said that was regular operating procedure and nothing she could do. Please BEWARE that they do not deliver as promised om the website or via phone.
