When I discovered that there were rats living in my soft A/C duct work, I called up contractors. I…read morewanted metal now, something rats couldn't enter. Now, I called perhaps 4 contractors, maybe more. Several came out, but never entered my crawl space, some contractors asked me either what size my home was, or my address. Some of the quotes that came out of those contractors were remarkably expensive. Experts who all claimed they knew, without looking in my crawlspace, without counting the drops, that this would cost 5000, some nearly 6000 on their quotes. Modern Air comes out, and they enter my crawlspace, count the drops, take measurements, even clean out my evap line which has a tendency to clog up over time. They give me a quote, and it's a good deal less. In fact, it was 2,000 cheaper than the most padded invoice I had heard. They came when they said they would, they did the work, and it works great. I call them for service calls from time to time. I highly recommend them. Great work, good family owned business, and guys who did uprightly by me in my estimation. Other contractors looked at our house from the exterior, perhaps our cars; and never looked a skosh underneath our home. Modern Air did. Highly recommended. It feels nice to know for a fact that you beat the spread for once, because you dealt with HONEST people. Thanks again, and I hope my review over here by the Marina, helps your business.

"INSTALLATION" part 2 of 3…read more I had a new system installed. It was mid range competitive price. The Installers explained everything they were going to do, how long it would take, and what they needed from me (NOTHING). They brought all tools and parts, NO trips into town or the parts supply store was required. They even wore little booties over their foot ware so not to get my floors dirty. The Job took most of a day and they left NO trash, or scraps of metal ducting laying around for me to step on. They knocked each time they had to enter MY home and made sure the doors were shut tight so my dogs wouldn't sneak out. They were very considerate and thoughtful. "SERVICE AFTER INSTALL" Part 3 of 3 On one of the hottest days of the year (90+) the NEW unit would Not produce COLD air. I had people and animals all looking at me saying "Well Do Something", I/m melting here. Yes we were all hot and getting crankier by each passing second and each raising degree. I called the company ("MADISON HVAC") that just recently installed a New system in my home. I just spent $$ on cold air and heat and i'm not getting A/C. They tried to fix the system over the phone but no go so they scheduled a service tech the next opening. The tech arrived and was again friendly and polite. He asked about the issues, and got to work, minutes later he had the system up and running. The part that went out was covered by warranty. They can and will work here anytime. I hear they might be expanding into construction, I will be talking to them for my remodeling jobs in the near future if they want to. Yes They Get 5 Stars. I don't think I have EVER given 5 stars to ANYONE ever before this. They earned it by caring, being knowledgeable, and being professional. Thank you MADISON HVAC/R

The installers were awesome and very professional. When the County Inspector came out next day to check the work he said "Oh... Madison HVAC did this...they always do an excellent job. Even though they were booked up she called back shortly to say she had a tech coming out to look at it. George showed up and fixed it very quickly. Simply a clogged line. Done and taken care of by 2pm. Again.....very happy with their service.

If you are looking for a serious, professional plumber, you want this company. They have been our…read moreonly plumber since our home purchase, and are one of the best investments we've made. We recent needed a sump pump and a new toilet installed, and GRS Plumbing was our first call. They are always on time, and ready to work. It took 3 days to install the pump. There was all manner of muck, as you could imagine, but when they were finished, even the walls had been wiped clean. I was incredibly impressed, as i had expected a lot of clean up. The toilet install was the same way, the floor and toilet area were spotless, and everything had been replaced in its spot. When they left, they took everything with them, we had nothing to dispose of. It's a fair price for the quality of their work. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Called twice last night (5-23-19) around 430pm and finally Courtney called me back a few minutes…read morebefore 5pm. She scheduled me for first thing in the morning (not very busy I presume and now I see why $$$). As for the install the finished product looks good and it works, but for $237.00 it sure should! Two hours for a "master plumber" to install a kitchen faucet is egregious. The kicker is it probably only took 30-45 to install it, but I had to pay the extra 45 minutes for him to run to Lowe's to get parts (insert Hardee's breakfast biscuit here). What kind of "master plumber" doesn't have parts to install a kitchen faucet? So anyway, the install looks good, but as I need a plumber again to pressure test a gas line to a fireplace next week, I won't be using GRS Plumbing. P.S. When Courtney told me it was $90/hr and not a flat rate I kinda had the feeling this would happen, so when he got here I turned on my stopwatch on my phone and when I gave him my credit card to pay I showed him my phone which showed showed 1:48 minutes. And that's with him going shopping for over 40 minutes. So if you use GRS Plumbing, make sure to lube up because here comes a good screwing.
