We requested a visit to our house because we had a circuit breaker that kept popping unnecessarily…read more He came and thoroughly checked out our amperage and all of our devices plugged into our outlets and determined that our wiring was fine, but that breaker might be bad. Instead of charging us for the visit he said no charge because he didn't fix anything and he just wanted us to remember him when we needed something actually fixed. He went to Lowe's and took a picture of a breaker that I could put in myself to fix the problem. Absolutely top quality service and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for electrical work.

Let me start by saying that calling Mr. Brown was the best move I can make... and the best move you…read morecan make as well reading this! Long story short I was having trouble with my furnace and it putting out the appropriate amount of heat when in emergency heat mode. I called Fayette heating and air only to have them come out to charge me $100 just to tell me that I needed a whole new line put in because my furnace was only getting half the power it needed to... the proceeded to quote me $1350 to put in a new line to the furnace that was less than 25 feet away. I felt that was a tad bit high so we called another electrical company who came out and said the same thing.. new line was needed because there was not enough power. Cool... they quoted me $1000. I still felt that was high especially because they told me that yes it was going to need a new line but that it would be an easy install and it shouldint take too long... So I called WB... Mr. Brown within 15 minutes of being here discovered the reason to why the furnace was not getting enough power.. because simply the wrong wire was hooked up on the furnace from the fuse box. On the fuse box the positive cords were red and black, and on the furnace was white and black, which means all that needed to be done to fix the problem was simply to take the white electrical cord off.. cap it off... and put the red positive one on the furnace fuse and boom... it was getting the full amount of power. No need for new wiring or hours of labor.... Mr. Brown took the time to explain this all to me and to make I understood which I so much appreciate. (The picture I included is him taking the time to show me that he indeed got the correct amount of power after making the wire switch) Through this entire process he showed me that he is about the people and is truthful, trustworthy and not out to take advantage of anyone. He is very reasonably priced and I cannot speak highly enough about his professionalism and his customer service. He went above and beyond for me and I know he will do the same for you!! Do yourself a favor and use WB electric for your electrical needs! You won't regret it! Thank you again!! We will definitely call you first for our needs in the future!

Our heating/cooling unit started getting frost all over the outside of it where all the vents are…read more I had a guy at church tell us that he thought we were low on the chemical freon and that's why the unit wasn't defrosting properly. My wife and I had also come up with the same conclusion, so we started calling around to see if we could get the unit serviced. We called several companies and they all tried to gouge us. One company came out and gave us the usual B.S. about all the electronic circuits that need to be replaced to the tune of almost $800+. We called Allen's Kentucky Mechanical out and their representative, Nick, ran his diagnostic on it. Yep, it was 4 pounds light on freon. The price was about $350 because freon and the licenses to haul it around aren't cheap. Not only that, but the expertise in labor and testing was included. So, it was a good price for excellent service and repair. Nick was super professional and courteous and blew my wife and I away with his professionalism. Total pro! We sure do appreciate Allen's Kentucky Mechanical and the staff there. They called right back, arrived on time, and got the job done right. A+ on all levels. Unit runs great and not a lick of frost on it. Thank you Allen's Kentucky Mechanical! You're the best!!!!

My wife and I are purchasing a home in Winchester, KY and I contacted Allen's Kentucky Mechanical…read more The webpage indicates military retirement discounts are offered. I served thirty (30) years and retired as a CW4. When asked about this discount, I was told the owner doesn't provide military discounts all the time. I told Jake that it's a good thing the United States Armed Forces didn't defend the rights, constitution, or our majestic US Flag a couple of days out of a year.
