This has taken a while to write because of the pain of losing my husband. Dr Upendra Patel was my…read morehusband's regular dr and my husband saw Dr Patel every 6 months since 2012. He was supposed to be checking him thoroughly at each visit. In September of 2015 we found out my husband had a very large bladder tumor ( cancer). We were told this is more prevalent in men over the age of 60 and he was 69. The doctor we first saw about the tumor wanted to know what the last urine sample tests were. My husband was surprised and said none had been done and they hadn't been done. So since 2012 a visit every six months a simple urine test was never done!! This could have revealed the tumor when it was curable. Unfortunately that was not done and my husband died in 4 months. Just a simple urine test every six months would have caught this early!! If this is a problem in men over the age of 60 I would think a dr would do a urine test every visit. My brother-in-laws dr did that, cancer was found early and he has been cancer free for 12 yrs. 1 SIMPLE URINE TEST!!!

Next sentence from him when I said I'm moving out of state in a few weeks was "well the process won't be able to happen before you leave so that's just going to suck for you, at least it isn't cancer"! He wasn't going to order any tests or imaging and i still don't even know what it is that needs to be removed! He was telling me he couldn't do it that soon to just come back in December when I'm home so he can do the surgery then... no thanks! Very very unhappy and very upsetting! Also, if you call in for an appt because your sick she tells you that you MUST stay in your car upon arrival, call and they will come get you. This lady will without a doubt create issues for Dr. Scherer going forward as your first point of contact is the front office, whether on the phone or in person. He changed the diabetic med I was taking from a tier 3 to a generic. This new pill not only saves me a lot of money, my diabetic sugar levels have come down considerably. I found his staff to be extremely helpful and considerate. His receptionist handles check-in, appointments and referrals. She is very pleasant and efficient. I just don't understand the 1 and 2 star reviews.

They always act like they're mad to be at work and it's inconvenient for you to come in for an appointment or call. It's very odd to me and they're also incredibly unhelpful when you're sitting in a waiting room for 30 minutes and ask when you're finally going to see the doctor. Most people in medical care are not so cold and rude. Do not recommend if you like good customer service and it's unfortunate since Cucchetti seems like a good doctor! Danica truly is the epitome of a bad staff member so stay away from her. She is very unhelpful and will treat you like you're lying when you speak to her after your surgery and you tell her you have pain. It was only 12 hours after surgery and her attitude when she called me was appalling. My shoulder surgery went well (I think) but no one told me there would be 4 weeks of not being able to move my arm or do normal activities so do make sure to ask every question! I've had lots of surgeries and this one was the hardest to heal from!

The Radiology technicians are all wonderful; however, if you would like your insurance to cover the…read morecost don't bother to go to any RadNet facility because they do not have enough staff in their claims department to submit claims correctly to insurance. Claims have gone unpaid and unprocessed repeatedly by insurance because they cannot seem to communicate effectively with insurance companies. They have repeatedly submitted claims incorrectly for over a year and then they turn around and bill me for the total amount of unpaid claims because they cannot manage to submit them correctly.
