There's no host stand or clear seating system, so the entrance felt chaotic. We weren't sure what to do until a nice local told us to just grab a table. After sitting down, it took about 5 mins for a waitress to stop by with the menus. The menu includes both breakfast and lunch items, but the ordering process is confusing. We were told breakfast orders would be taken at the table and lunch needs to be ordered separately at the cafeteria style counter. My husband went to the counter to order lunch while I stayed behind, waiting for the server to return with drinks and take our breakfast order, she never did. The smothered pork dish looked worse than school cafeteria, and unfortunately tasted like it too. It was overly salty and the pork had a weird taste to it. Since we had already paid for the lunch item upfront and still hadn't been able to place breakfast order, we decided to cut our losses and went to another restaurant. Overall, wasted 35 mins and left frustrated and disappointed, definitely won't come back!

The main issue here is the overall service experience and the food quality. The interior is old school but immediately chaos; there is a Luby's style ready serve food line and tables as well for dine in. We didn't know but apparently you just find a table and sit down, we were standing around waiting to be seated for a bit. Apparently you order lunch plates at this hot food line and then order breakfast via your server at the table. This makes no sense. We waited 35 minutes for staff to take our breakfast order and beverages unsuccessfully, so I went up and ordered a lunch plate of smothered pork and just paid up front. The guy working the ready made food line was also pretty rude and didn't want to be there; great! It was definitely below Treebeard's level and was very salty and not very flavorful. The sauce that they poured on the rice was extremely salty as well. Meh food quality and the absolute chaos of the brunch dining experience made the brunch meal very unenjoyable for our group. We left afterwards and went to another restaurant to eat.

I got the loaded baked potato and I subbed my salad for French fries at no extra charge which was nice. The steaks were cooked exactly to our preference. Drawbacks: service is meh and mixed drinks are trash. They tasted watered down. I'll be getting wine if I decide to return.

The crispy onion petals were crispy, thick and well-seasoned while the chicken wrap appetizers were stuffed with cheese and fresh ingredients. The lemon pepper chicken was also extremely tender, buttery and soaked in lemon sauce. It was really tasty and undoubtedly an entree that I would order again. For my sides, I chose the crispy brussel sprouts and southwest mac-and-cheese. The sprouts weren't super crispy, but they were covered in the most decadent sweet marinade. I also really enjoyed the macaroni dish, with its three-cheese sauce and parmesean-crusted exterior. My husband ordered the steak and the Ceasar salad and while the salad was decent enough, the steak was not cooked medium rare (as he had requested) and was therefore not as tender as it could have been. That said, the beef was still juicy and well-seasoned. Our waiter was charming but he was hard to find during some parts of the night. That said, he did a really good job at making sure our glasses were filled and that the ambiance was pleasant. 9/10 we have a new favorite!
