On top of that, they tried to pressure me into getting new X-rays even though my previous X-rays were taken less than six months ago. When I questioned the need for additional X-rays, they continued pushing for them and ultimately refused to perform my scheduled teeth cleaning because I declined. Another concern is the constant staff turnover. Over the years, I've had three different hygienists, which makes the office feel very inconsistent and unorganized. Routine dental cleaning and examination…read more I was a little apprehensive about changing my dentist to Dr. Hadadi, but after my second visit to her office, and being assisted by Emily and Sandra, they made me feel very comfortable and were very polite. Dr. Hadadi is very thorough with explaining treatment for good dental health, and makes referrals as needed, she also is patient and takes her time with her procedure, in my case, I had to have a filling, and I didn't feel rushed or any pain, just pressure and a little discomfort, she talked me through the steps she would use, before doing so, which reassured me prior to feeling anything. I am very pleased and satisfied with the work that was done on my teeth by Dr. Hadadi, her bedside manners and excellent service she provided. The hygienist did an amazing job with cleaning my teeth, she spent time polishing, flossing, making sure I had no tarter build up on each tooth, and gave me a good mouth rinse, I definitely can say she cares about having clean teeth. The only thing I didn't get before leaving the office, was a bag that contained a new tooth brush, floss, and toothpaste, not to sure if that is provided, but I did schedule my next cleaning six months out as advised while checking out. Sitting in my car, I already felt the anxiety building because dental visits can be nerve-racking for me. When I checked my appointment again, I realized I was actually scheduled at Fair Lakes Family Dentistry, so I drove over hoping this experience would be different. The moment I walked in, the beautiful lobby and welcoming staff immediately shifted the tone. A.D., the dental assistant, called me back and introduced herself with such warmth that my guard began to lower. Our conversation felt natural and calming, which helped me relax before the appointment even began. Then I met Corey, the dental hygienist. When he spoke, I noticed his accent and asked where he was from. When he said Memphis, I smiled instantly--because I'm from Memphis too, born and raised. That small moment of connection turned what could have been a stressful appointment into something much more human. Corey listened as I shared my past dental concerns and experiences. His empathy, patience, and attentiveness made me feel like a person, not just a patient. As a counselor, I deeply value when professionals create a space where someone feels seen, heard, and respected. Corey did exactly that. However, Dr. B and his staff have worked hard to build a rapport and trust with me. I started with cleanings only but had to get more serious dental work done. I was terrified. It was just a bridge but you have to understand my fear. The staff assured me all would be well. Dr. B talked me through every step as he was doing it and was gentle throughout the process. As far as costs & fees, I do have dental insurance so I am not sure what uninsured payments would be. My costs have been relative and what I would consider reasonable compared to other quotes I've gotten, even having insurance. My daughter and husband are patients as well and we have no complaints.

To add more data I was charged $128 for services my insurance company already paid to Cypress Creek Dental. I brought this to their attention and never received a response. My insurance company s asking me to pay the overcharge of $128. This is not just incompetence but stealing. What is worse than that is that the dentist overlooked my wife and my daughter's teeth for cavities that should have been addressed. As a result of gross incompetence my daughter had to get her cavities filled by another dentist. My wife unfortunately had to get a root canal. Again this could have been avoided and prevented and was not. The dentist, Donna and the dentist wife (bookkeeper) are grossly incompetent.

I recently visited Dental Care on Tuckerton, office of Dr. Shweta Manoj Ambwani. As a family of…read moresix, we were considering changing dentists due to financial concerns. My previous dentist was very competent, and we were pleased with the care. The new practice seemingly offered better value. Considering I'm a 69-year-old patient, my previous dentist said my oral hygiene was excellent and suggested semiannual cleaning with annual X-rays, nothing more. During my first visit with Dr. Shweta, extensive X-rays were taken which I understood for a basis. Also, a rather painful gum/pocket measurement check was performed to determine receding gums and additional periodontal care. After this miserable experience and no teeth cleaning, I was told that I would require a "deep cleaning" at a cost of $1,232! They were quick to provide a financing option and schedule my next appointment. Two days later, I contacted my old, retired dentist and he said to send him my X-rays and pocket depth measurements. I called Dr. Ambwani's office and requested these documents to be emailed. When asked why for my request, I simply said a second opinion. After a few days, the dental hygienist who performed my initial exam called me and said she said the X-rays were available, but the pocket measurements had been LOST!!!!! She offered a repeat pocket measurement exam at no charge. I was FUMING! My old dentist said that this was rather "fishy" since all these scans and measurements should be computerized. Shortly after, I scheduled a visit with a different, highly recommended dentist to further understand the status of my teeth. He said I did have some gum receding, but my oral hygiene was excellent! He chuckled when I mentioned the previous suggestion of the "deep cleaning" and that it was not necessary. This dentist has been exposed with her motives of chasing dollars instead of proper patient dental care as well as displaying incompetence when it comes to patient record keeping. AVOID THIS PRACTICE! WHAT A RIPOFF!
