He kept demanding what I needed in a condescending way, making me feel small. After I got my ticket and checked in, I was called to the window, and that same officer started yelling across the room, in front of everyone. I asked him why he was being so disrespectful, but he just escalated. After that, I tried to speak to another officer, hoping to get a supervisor, but he also refused to identify himself at first. Eventually, he gave me the last name Menendez, but again, he didn't want to offer any proper help or respect. Both officers acted with the same aggressive attitude for no reason. You'll wait a real long time because everybody and their mama needs to do something there. The husband loves to buy cars so I have to go there way too many times a year. End of the month or beginning of the month is the busiest. You get the procrastinators and over achievers during that time. Don't bother goin on the week before a major holiday either. Don't think you can take care of this during your lunch hour and be back at work on time. If you do, buy a lottery ticket because you're super lucky. You go in, take a number at the kiosk and wait. Don't think you can leave and come back and still have your spot. Once you are there, you have to stay. It's the only fair way to do things. I've ordered Uber Eats with no problem when the wait has been too long. There's plenty of seating because there's a ton of people who have to wait as well so try not to be a jerk and put your stuff in an empty chair. Try not to bring kids because they will be bored out of their minds unless you have too. If you bring a baby bring a full days worth of food and diapers. Bring snacks and stuff to do. Toddlers will want to walk around and that's okay. Let them explore and build their immune system. People won't care as long as they are freaking out. If you crochet or knit you could probably make a sweater for a very large person while you wait. There's a Pokémon Go gym that is reachable. You'll develop deep short term relationships with some people who are desperate to tell strangers their deep dark secrets. Just smile and be empathic. It takes zero dollars to be kind.
