He provided me with specific instructions and he was able to get everything working again all via FaceTime. HE DIDNT CHARGE ME ANYTHING! He was sympathetic to my time critical situation, and he genuinely wanted to be helpful. He would not accept any money despite my insistence. You just don't see this type of authentic integrity anymore. Excellent work ethic, extremely knowledgeable, quick response, and he didn't feel right charging me simply because he wasn't there in person. The FaceTime instruction was extremely educational and his thorough step-by-step guidance was spot on. He was very patient with me. Other companies said it would be $475 just to come out and take a look. This is the only company I will use for all my future pool service needs. Hard to find people like Rod these days. He decided to also cut an opening in the living room wall to get better air flow to the unit. This unit has FOUR filters!!!! My home is only 1600 square feet. I have had this unit repaired no less than 5 times in under 5 years. It is not blowing cold air at all AGAIN! It's over 90 degrees in my home today. Lena suggested during one of my phone calls to change out the expensive thermostat (they were no longer doing air conditioners) they had put in. I did why not! love spending more money it hasn't fixed the ac problem. Pool was worked on less than 5 years ago. New variable speed motor $1200. It had to be replaced over a year ago. It was not strong enough for my pool with filter and bottom cleaning system definitely didn't get to use small waterfall. Second motor was $1400. Replaced light in pool. The round spa is built next to the pool and would have been lovely except only half of the outside of the spa was tiled. Unfortunately the tiled side was the side facing the house behind us and the solid cement side was facing the house. It looked really ugly. When I asked the owner why he made that choice he said to save money. Of course, why did he choose to tile the side facing AWAY from the house? Initially I thought that wasn't too smart but then I realized maybe it was very smart because of course we had to pay them to tile the ugly cement side facing the house. Of course he didn't communicate any of this to us. 2. The steps into the pool and spa are very narrow and steep. I'm only in my 60s but it's already very difficult for me to get in and out of the spa and pool. At some point I am going to have to drain the pool and redo the steps. Will be very expensive.
