I was recommended to Shea Von Tronk by Acquienta Pools. The first time I called and set up an…read moreappointment to have him look at an issue we were having with our pool, his wife called the day of the appointment and said he was sick. So she scheduled a 2nd appointment to have him come out to look at our pool. On that 2nd visit, he was a no show so I called and his wife answered and told me he could not come because he had to "fire a worker". So she scheduled yet another visit (this would be the 3rd). For this 3rd rescheduled visit, Shea did not even bother to show up OR call. I, obviously, by that time did not wish to have any services provided by them but called just to see what excuse they would come up with and they never answered nor returned the call. Highly unreliable and very unprofessional. I would recommend staying away from this pool company! If I could, I would give them zero stars!

I have had my pool for 8+ years and have never had a problem with the in-floor cleaning system…read moreuntil now. In trying to correct the problem, I hired two separate pool repair companies. Both failed at rectifying the problem. The first company never returned my phone calls after I complained that the service I paid for was never accomplished. The second company simply told me the MagnaSweep (cleaning system) needed new gears after I had just replaced them one week earlier. Upon calling the manufacturer, they directed me to Bob McGerry as the man to figure out what the problem is. Within one day, not only did he show up to evaluate the problem, he spent a tremendous amount of time making sure that the system was working properly after he disassembled it and replaced it. I never expected him to put that kind of time into addressing my pool problem. I am so impressed with not only his work ethic, but how hard he strives to not just evaluate the problem, but to solve it. From now on, I will only place the maintenance of my pool into the very capable hands of AZ Mermaids and Bob McGerry! Thank you for your effort and dedication to satisfying the needs of your client!

When I hired Dr. Aqua I made it clear that I was running a vacation rental. He also had plenty of time to look at all of my equipment. He told me that he would treat my pool with care. Dr. Aqua agreed to charge me a set monthly fee. The first month it was double the agreed upon rate, I paid it. The second month it was triple! Dr. Aqua decided to quit servicing me without properly notifying me. He left me pool green and disgusting. I would run from this guy, he rather scam you then make money and clean your pool. Below are the disgusting images of how he left my pool, in 20 years of owning our home I have never had a pool service this dishonest. Instead of owning up to leaving my pool disgusting and not charging me, he thinks threatening is a good approach. Luckly, I have a great pool guy now that is not dishonest and knows how to use the equipment provided to get a clean pool. Good luck Dr. GreenPool.

The receptionist, Dawn, said the owner must be running late and she'd contact him then call me back. Fifteen minutes later she called and said the owner said we needed to have the pool polished and they couldn't do that for 3 months and that would be too hot to drain the pool. Why I had to wait 2 and a half hours to find out they couldn't even service my pool was amazing. I had other questions, but Dawn couldn't answer them and eventually said have a nice day and hung up. If the owner makes someone wait 2 hours with no phone call then tells the receptionist to tell me they can't even service me, then I'd hate to see how bad the actual service is. 4/12/17-The owner called and was very nice. Not the owner that didn't make the two hour window, but at least I received a phone call from someone. He tried to offer discounts and help, but I don't review to get discounts or freebies. So I said thank you, but based on the none call I just wouldn't use your company. I moved my review to 3 stars for his effort and hope this was just a one time thing for the sake of his company.
