No warning just that they're using too much. My pop ups where not even working and I paid over & $300 for three they told me where bad when they didn't work!! The worse part is they cleaned my tile above the waterline and acid washed the pool @ $2,000. Then they had to clean the pop up screen filter and said there was too many pebbles plugging this little filter that my pebble tech was deterring. They could have told me this prior to refilling my pool which they had me drain @ $400 later for the water bill. I have talked to numerous people about their pool tech and they all couldn't believe they just out right said you supply your own chlorine. After back & forth text I ask him I understand the hot weather and the effects it has on the pool. I then asked him if I by a bucket of chlorine to help the cost how many tablets would you put in under normal pool conditions which I pay him a monthly fee. He would not answer that ? I asked him the same ? Three times and wouldn't answer. Finally he texted me and said take care of your own pool! The service guys were good but watch out for Alex he's out for anything he can charge you for. He said he would charge me $199 a bucket and That's all he can do.I contacted three other pool services that said of course we supply the chlorine as much is needed no additional charge for the same price as I was paying Alex. However, the subsequent techs were not consistent in maintaining the pool.....some were good but others were lazy and spent a fraction of the time on site. SO.....we recently changed to FIFTY SHADES OF BLUE and were amazed that the owner and tech, Christy had it sparkling again in no time. She is extremely competent, conscientious and dedicated to task at hand. Additionally, she is able to troubleshoot pool equipment. That being said, I am somewhat reluctant to write this review as it is analogous to telling others about your secret fishing hole! But Christy deserves the kudos.....and as an extra bonus....if you play music in the vicinity of your pool.....you can watch as she dances while servicing your pool! You go girl!

We asked him to put together a list of needed items and a price so we could submit them to the seller with the home inspection report. I asked for 3 days, even though he promised he would do it, he never did and did not respond when we reached out. Needless to say that I had to hire someone else on VERY short notice to get the report done. Very disappointed, if he did not want to do the job he should have said that instead of putting us in a very bad position. I would not recommend his services he leaves you in a desperate position.

We wanted to get our pool pump upgraded, and contacted infamous pools on a Thursday. They said they were busy but could get to us by Monday. I never heard anything. On the next Thursday, they called me and acted like they never spoke to me to begin with- "how can I help you...we'd love to come take a look,etc.". I told them that we spoke last week and I never heard back. They then offered to have someone come out today (Friday). We are now going on three weeks of our pool pump leaking, and it could have been replaced by now. I then posted on the Cave Creek Facebook page looking into other options for more responsive companies, and people recommended Infamous pools. I informed them that they are non-responsive, and Steve Alley deleted my entire thread. I spoke to another pool business owner in the area who said he was banned from the Facebook group entirely because he is a competitor in the market. When asking another admin about why my thread looking for businesses was deleted, she responded that Steve Alley started the Facebook page and he can delete anything he wants. He is quite literally filtering that page to be an advertisement for his company. Do not trust the skewed reviews.

Horrible service. Where do I begin? We hired this company since they were recommended on FB…read more Initial meeting went well and they started taking care of our pool right away. After 4-5 weeks, they assigned a new person to the task. This person didn't know anything about anything. He showed up once with another person for training and after that he started showing up oil his own. Every time he showed up, I watched him on my security camera system. He loaded the pool with Cyanuric acid (stablizer) and dumped Chlorine tablets in the floater, then started checking his phone for 5 minutes or so, and then he left. No brushing, no cleaning, no checking the filters, nothing. So after firing them, my wife and I started to become a pool person ourselves. As it turns out there's more than 300+ PPM of Cyanuric acid in the water (range is 30-50 PPM) and there's no way to get rid of the acid unless if you completely drain the pool and refill with fresh water. Then we learned that all Chlorine tablets contain their own stabilizer, so you should never add any more stabilizer unless absolutely necessary. Coincidentally, our neighbor (whom we also recommend the service to) checked their pool water at Leslie's and they too have to drain their pool and restart due to high levels of Cyanuric acid. This is such a disservice to us who hired this company, but also to the environment, if their clients have to dump 10,000-17,000 gallons of water and refill because of their lack of care and understanding.

Raddy came out quickly to check things out and we came up with a plan. We needed to change the sand (I knew that), there were also some leaks in the plumbing and also recommended an acid wash. We made arrangements to have everything completed, the first day they would come to drain the pool and come back the following day to do all the other work. AZ Home and Pools showed up on time and did a great job, they even power washed our pool decking which I didn't know about. Over the last couple of years, I have tried to take of the pool by myself, but not anymore. I have never seen the pool look cleaner, it is crystal clear and I didn't have to do it myself. The bill was as expected and they even replaced some other worn out items and didn't charge me. My wife and I are very satisfied. SteveP
