So awesome that Cyclebar has opened in Torrance! If you're looking for a spin class or any kind of fun cardio workout, look no further. This place opened recently and the studio is in excellent condition. The manager, Allyson and the whole staff are super friendly and helpful. I was a little nervous for my first class but they did a great job explaining everything and helping me adjust my bike before class. They provide towels and shoes--all you have to bring is water! There are lockers in the lobby for you to use for free, and they also provide ice cold towels after class. The website/app is super easy to use to book classes and I love that you can see your stats after class. I tried out 4 different teachers and my favorite is Sydney! Love her energy and her playlists are fire! Definitely try out one of her classes! Music is SO important for a good cycling workout and she nails it every time. Went for my free introductory class the other day, went to a class taught by Hannah. They have lockers, provide a towel on the bike, and provide cycle shoes that click in. You can request that you be on a bike next to your friends, which is super fun. I don't do heavy cardio on my own, just long slow workouts and pilates, so this took cardio to a new level for me! It was challenging, but you can always dial back if needed. Since the room is dark you don't feel all eyes on you. I found the music good for keeping pace since the beats in the songs dictate the speed. Maybe I wouldn't have every single song that was in the mix, one contained a lot of cursing and that's just not my thing. The class was exhilarating and I had a cardio high all day, I will definitely be back and take Hannah's class again. I'm so happy friends referred me and that I tried a new thing, not scary at all once you get set up on your bike, you just follow the instructor. Or don't, either way it's a great workout and no pressure. They also have stretching and weights integrated into the workout, wow! You might have a sore bum after this class but I hear that goes away after a few classes too! read more

Took one of the Soft Opening Rides as a first-timer and it was such a FUN and challenging experience! The entire staff were so friendly and enthusiastic when I mentioned it was my first time. Erica and Jazmine were SO friendly + helpful in getting my locker & bike set up! I was a little nervous, but within 5 minutes of checking in, I felt so comfortable! Overall, the space was so clean and organized! Shoes, lockers, and towels are provided! Sydney was a great instructor, she was really motivating and extremely affirming throughout the entire class. Love at first try. I enjoy working out but never have enjoyed the gym experience. Cardio is an important aspect of keeping the human body running efficiently. My wife talked me into trying this venue. I instantly loved it. The staff are very warm and welcoming, I never felt intimidated or uncomfortable. They all are very helpful and supportive. I went for the soft open event. Got my 3 free classes. Every time they gave us gift bags. My first impression was definitely 5 stars. I thought "well of course they want to impress me to sign up". But the service continues to be 5 star with their clean facility, great service and sweet staff. The instructors there are super down to earth and the energy is the best. I looooove Hip Hop Happy Hour on Wednesdays with Lauren. I'm relatively new to cycle and still find myself struggling a little bit, but between Lauren's encouragement and really fun playlists, I'm able to push thru the hard moments. Lauren is such a great instructor! It's obvious that she loves what she does, but on top of that, she gives motivation that sometimes brings me to tears with the messages she delivers. I genuinely look forward to Wednesdays, so I can take HHHH and I always walk out feeling better than when I arrived.
