We walked out with a new tire in a box as they would not be able to do it until the next day. That'd mean another round trip back. They didn't even look at the bike, didn't rotate the crank or look at the brake. But recommended a tune up and wheel trueing. There was no " walk in service". There was no scheduling an appointment for another day either with out leaving the bike for several days. This is what a LBS shouldn't be. IMO We've had bike shops in various locations across the country bend over backwards : from delivering a new wheel to us, replacing a spoke on the spot, diagnosing and updating a software issue along with dozens of other minor and major problems our group has had over the years. More consideration needed to be aimed towards vacationing folks. Not recommended.

I had my wiener dog with me and everyone was super cool with him being around. This shop I can tell is full of heart and soul for bikes bicyclists and the community. I had Tom help me repair my tire and tube. He asked me questions and was very present, curious, and made sure I knew what he knew and what he could do about helping me with my bike. Technician got angry and said "Just take it!". Got phone call from woman after asking me to come pay - did cut charge in half. Then rode bike - or tried. Mirror locked tightly in focus on ground position. Tried to shift forward shifter from 1 to 2. Almost impossible to move. When finally shifted got clicking noise in every rear gear. Bad alignment with chain guide. Really doubt anyone did test ride. New cassette on rear shows no lube. Lousy job, lousy attitude. Lousy overall. Refuse to bring it back to fix bad job. Probably get worse.
