I would not go back to this place if you paid me. Needed tuneup and other repairs. "10-14days". After 2 weeks, left three voicemails that were never returned. Finally went in at @ 3 weeks. Technician got angry and said "Just take it!". Got phone call from woman after asking me to come pay - did cut charge in half. Then rode bike - or tried. Mirror locked tightly in focus on ground position. Tried to shift forward shifter from 1 to 2. Almost impossible to move. When finally shifted got clicking noise in every rear gear. Bad alignment with chain guide. Really doubt anyone did test ride. New cassette on rear shows no lube. Lousy job, lousy attitude. Lousy overall. Refuse to bring it back to fix bad job. Really disappointed with this company. Brought my electric bike in before Christmas. Took them a month to fix it. Controller needed replaced. Rather than order the part from the bike manufacturer, they put a cheap controller on. Screen is black and white (old one was color). Very tiny screen. Can't read it while riding. Worse part is it doesn't work. Ordered correct replacement part from manufacturer and taking it to be fixed somewhere else. read more

She will help you with anything and everything, guaranteed! Alpine Bicycles (which is now called), Chain Reaction Cycles, has a wide variety of selections. Many different items to customize your bike/ride! You will not be disappointed nor dissatisfied! Some prices on certain bikes here can be somewhat expensive, but well worth it & promising. If you're looking for an "old school" bicycle shop, look no further. Gary, the owner, has been an avid cyclist and racer most of his life. Whatever your passion is: road, mountain, tandem, beach, or kids bikes, he or his son can service it. As soon as you enter, all you see is bike related parts and apparel. He has all kinds of bike accessories, provides maintenance, sales new bikes, he will fit you for the gear you need & and other fun toys. This guy is knowledgeable about bikes, but his customer service skills are not there at all. Any question you ask he has the answer for but will make you feel like a dumbass for asking a question. Had him order me a simple derailleur hangar. I could have ordered it offline and it would have taken me about 2 weeks to get but I thought he could get it quicker and he told me he could have it within 3 days.... 2 weeks later still nothing and not even a courtesy call. I had to call in and ask about the status and he gave me the usual runaround about mail services but if that's the case don't promise something you can't deliver. Also I'm all for people being free to express political views but this guy seriously must not care about all the business he loses due to his obsessive signs. Enjoys telling stories ad nauseam. -However, he neglected numerous things which I told him about when I originally dropped the bike off. I explained what I wanted and needed done, and he took down my information. -He also told me it would take 5 days to a week. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and he said Saturday or Monday. -Multiple things were done without prior consent or agreement. They later tried to charge me for these services I had no idea were accomplished. -Original quote was for less than $100, but end price was $210, approx. +Work accomplished was satisfactory, but communication is lackluster at best. read more

I'm not usually one to leave bad yelp reviews but this guy earned it. I brought my bike in ten days ago, he told me it would be done in four. Every time I called he told me it was next on the block and would be ready tomorrow. That went on for four days. Finally I had my grandfather go in and see what the hold up was and this dude told him that he moved my bike up 40-50 bikes so it would be done early. That's total bullshit. But I really can't expect much else from someone who makes misogynistic jokes to their females customers and has a 'UGE trump sign in front of their shop. If this sort of thing appeals to you by all means go there. I on the other hand will take my business else where. read more

If you like to be treated like dog poo, this is your place. We dropped a bike off, never heard anything all week. Then when we checked a week later the owner (Gary) said he would look at it later that day after the 30 bikes we had in front of us. We were in the neighborhood at days end so just stopped by to see how it was coming and when his very polite employee asked for us, he yelled at him about having already told us. When I let him know I was in the store and explained we were just checking because we were in the neighborhood, he turned his back on me and ignored me. No apology, nothing.
