Store has decent selection of product unfortunately really depends on what employee is working the day you come in. Had a super awesome experience few weeks ago with guy named Aiden. Came back today but very different experience ! Lethargic attitude & apathetic. I can just go online and buy stuff but I choose to come to physical store for the customer service and staff that can answer questions and help me get what I need. When the staff doesn't have knowledge about the product for sale and/or is interested in finding out then there is no reason to come to store. read more

Angel went above and beyond for me. I came in to purchase a license plate frame. I had purchased a Tech 5 Air vest the day before at another Cyclegear store and was wearing it. I had noticed a vital velcoro fastener (turns the vest on) had started to become unstitched and was falling off. I told Angel the above and she immediately said that shouldn't happen with an expensive item like the Tech Air and she could swap it out for another one! I told her thank you, but I didn't have a receipt. Since I was leaving on a trip, I didn't have time to take it back to the other store and figured I would just repair it myself. "No receipt no problem!" Angel said. She called the other store and before I knew it had a non-defective vest! So great. Additionally, I saw Angel multi-tasking with other customers and her crew with a smile on her face and with great aplomb. I highly recommend this Cyclegear store. Angel is a very valuable member of Cyclegear's team! Disclaimer: This review is not AI-generated or the result of a "mind control chip." lol read more

Angel helped me immensely with my boot purchase and working through several kinks in the process. Outstanding customer service!

They are fantastic! Specifically Angel and Dominic. Came in for heated gear with little knowledge on how it worked and how to get it plugged into the bike. Angel helped make sure I had the right sizes, the right equipment and the best deal. I highly recommend paying her a visit for any of your bike needs! read more

Went in looking for a turn signal relay for my Honda ruckus that they didn't have at the bike dealership and they had it! Small store but good inventory. read more

I have been using Cycle Gear (Vancouver, WA) for the last three years whenever I needed gear or comms. While everyone there is friendly, knowledgeable and eager to please, I want to send out a seperate thanks to Chris who has been there for all of my Sena questions and issues. He has put up with a lot of newbie questions from me and has even used store stock to show me how to best integrate my Sena 10s with my 2018 GL1800. Can't say enough about the whole crew but if you happen to wander into that store, you can be sure you are in good hands. Thanks to the entire Cycle Gear team. read more

Angel is an Angel!!! Bought the Sena dual headset and had trouble connecting and hiding the wires so I brought it back and she set it all up for us. Worked like a charm. So nice and hilarious read more

The guys at Cycle Gear were great. I went there to buy a helmet and they were very helpful and friendly. I was very pleased with the service and helpfulness. Will definitely go back. read more

Absolutely horrible! Go to bent lever Motorsports Instead! This place will waste your time! I brought in a rim with a tire and needed the tire changed out, purchased one from them and wanted to have them instal it, they told me it was a 48 hour turn around time but have had my tire for a week! Absolutely bullshit! They're excuse was " we only have 1 tire guy that shows up 2-3 times a week", and no one wanted to own up to what they told me before I agreed to buy the tire which was "it's a 48 hour turn around time" read more

Went in frustrated with a Sena problem which Sena refused to address, but I'm so glad that I went and talked to Mike. A true professional and a genuine customer support person. This store has earned my respect and I'll be a dedicated customer as long as Mike is there. read more

Shoutout to Aaron at cycle gear for helping me pick out a new ADV jacket. Super knowledgeable staff. I prefer coming here over Pro-caliber up the street for most things because of the great service and better atmosphere. read more

The same shopping experience that you'll receive at all the Cycle Gears. Great equipment at good prices. The one difference is the shop leader Brian goes out of his way to ensure you're taken care of. On my trip there he had to mount tires and made sure that I got all the coupons and discounts coming to me. The staff here made me feel very supported. read more

I have to say I love this place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on parts, gear, safety equipment, and accessories. I always go here first if I need something for my bike. read more

Awesome service-helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. Went in to look at helmets. I was greeted promptly and professionally-fitted and on my way in less than 30 minutes with just what I needed. The staff listened to my needs and showed me options...then allowed me the time to come to a decision. Great sales experience!! read more

Came in here on Sunday one hour prior to closing. We had the pleasure of dealing with Jonathon who provided excellent and friendly customer service through out our time in the store. He possesses up to date knowledge on the products that he sells and was able to recommend a new helmet for my wife. We were there for over an hour and even though it was closing time, we never felt like an inconvenience to him. His professionalism and helpfulness was a totally different experience I had from two years ago there. And I will be a repeat customer. read more

These guys are great. I was looking at different helmets and doing some research since I am new to riding. The employees went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of...even after I told them I was a total noob. Walked away well informed and they seem to have my best interest. Knowledgeable, helpful and affordable, hard to beat that. read more

The staff seem to be helpful and reasonably knowledgable. Pretty well stocked with the essentials and gear at several price points. It would be nice if they had better quality/selection of accessories , read more

decent prices on most store was busy but all the staff seemed educated

The people in this store have always been very helpful (Vancouver). Some of the products are lower quality but the prices are very good. I just had a mild crash at PIR and the Cycle Gear house brand leather jacket and pants protected me well. They are about 5 years old. Tire prices are frequently quite good. read more

I will never be back. The customer service at this location is horrible. Hassle free return WITH a receipt was not hassle free. It bordered on harassment. He specifically looked to see where my boyfriend was (at the back of the store) before he leaned across the counter and said, " I. Can't. Help. You. " while giving me a nasty look. Definitely will be calling the company directly. The manager at this location is extremely rude. I have been told this by many people, in fact they will all drive to Oregon to go to that location inside. Update: I called the company the same day I posted this. They said a district manager would be calling me. No call. Even after calling again I was told to expect a call. Still nothing. read more

Terrible service. When I inquired about a large helmet the person suggested that I put my head in a lathe and have it turned down. I not only didn't find it as amusing as he did I was quite annoyed. Don't waste your time. The employees aren't really interested in doing anything except stand around and collect a paycheck. read more

This place recommended a product and it scratched my 3 week old bike. Will never go back. To add to it the manager at the vancouver store has small pecker syndrome! read more

I've always had a good experience whenever I've been into this store as well as the store off stark street in Portland. They carry a lot of entry level gear. And a few brand that are on the more spendy side like for example shoei helmets, Dainese jackets. It's a good gear shop. I always recommend this shop to people starting out. Or people who are on a budget read more

Cycle Gear isn't known for having the best prices, but the staff is great and if you know how to shop you can find some good deals. The staff at the 4th Plain store is generally helpful and pleasant to work with. read more

Great place to go for gear. Has a large selection of gear in all price ranges. The employees are very knowledgeable and helpful.

The staff at cycle gear are top notch. They are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and don't try to upsell me on stuff I don't need or cannot afford. They are first and foremost concerned about my safety and make sure I am completely satisfied with my purchase. Returns are a breeze, if they don't have something in stock they can get it within a few days, and I can't imagine ever shopping for gear anywhere else. They treat you right and get you the best deal possible. Simply cannot ask for a better experience. read more
