I had a great time at cycle gear. I had gone because there was a bike meet up there and when I got there there was a raffle and tons of other stuff. The store was stocked and the people were very nice and helpful. read more

Just about every Cycle Gear I've been to has been good. This one was exceptional. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is that I have a rather large head and so does one of my friends. And it seems like they don't carry enough big guy helmets. But this does not take away from my rating. Thanks. read more

I found the selection of product, pretty good and the employees attentive, however, a mandatory ID and account set up to be able to buy something is incredible invasive, this doesn't seem like it would even be legal. So my underage son was strong armed into giving his ID and setting up an account to be able to buy a pair of gloves. If this is the way you have to be able to get people's email addresses and phone numbers to later on sell / spam accounts it is utterly mind blowing. Change your policy, this is not OK! read more

Went in to find my wife a helmet. She has a really small head and still new to riding and wearing a helmet. Danny was awesome, took all the time we needed. Looked in the back for other styles. Even installed the Cardo for us. Customer service was amazing and found out later he was newer. He did a great job of balancing his knowledge and asking when he needed it. Make sure you look for Danny if you want someone who really enjoys the bike culture and helping people. read more

This cycle gear has been my go to place for motorcycle gear and advice since I started riding a few years ago. I've gotten fantastic advice and recommendations, and my last few trips Bella in particular has been a fantastic help; she greeted me right away, is very friendly, heard my concerns, and understood my needs. She's helped me size and recommend fantastic helmets, pick quality gloves and cooling gear for the summer months, and she's overall just so knowledgeable and patient! Thanks Bella for getting me geared up! read more

Came in to this shop with little to no knowledge on all things motorcycle related. I planned on getting some knowledge on helmets and gloves as I have an upcoming motorcycle class. I was greeted by Robert, who has such extensive knowledge on safety and gear. He walked me through the various brands/styles of helmets that I got to try on and test for myself. Ultimately, we went with the bell helmet and alpine gloves, which I was very happy about. I left the shop feeling as though I've made the best choice for my safety as a new rider. Thank you, Robert. Will be back to pick your brain very soon! read more

I live very far from both locations and I was happy to be in the area and check it out! Doug and Greg took care of my questions but Greg seem bothered I came in and asked questions! Don't waste your time and go to the one on Decatur, much friendlier people there! read more

Found the product I was looking for, a very large selection of gear, very knowledgeable, and helpful staff

They always get upset and act rude when I ask to price match places like Walmart and rocky mountain atv. when it's company policy to price match legit companies I only come here if it's my last resort because of this read more

Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable. My roommate is just a beginner when it comes to bikes and everyone there was so helpful when it came to selecting certain jackets for the hot Las Vegas heat and also selecting and helmet. They gave us their honest opinion on items we were looking at and looked for different ways to help us save. I definitely recommend coming here. We were helped by two different gentlemen, but I only remember Doug's name. Great place, nice prices and when you sign up for their membership you get some great deals. 10/10 experience! read more

Too much of a hurry to be of help. Went to pick up pair of Iron Worker Cargo Sand pants in 34 waist and the pants were torn; a manufacturer defect or user error. Filled out a form for a special order, and they told me we will call you. No average quantitative timescale or expected quantitative timescale just we will give you a call. I call later during the week after 5 days and I ask if arrived. Told me will get a call. I asked, will you check to see where ordered and if even ordered. They checked and said a place in Arizona I couldn't understand and then said we'll I'm busy I have to go and hung up. read more

New to riding. Pretended to be welcoming at first but was later harassed for trying on gear. Was told to leave after trying to get familiar with the gear and to come back when we were more serious about riding. Unwelcoming to new riders. read more

I've visited Cycle Gear maybe 6 times between the two locations in Las Vegas over the last 4 months since I started riding and have had really good experiences. Today I was in the area and stopped in to check out the holiday sales and maybe some cold weather gear and was assisted by Robert. Robert was able to answer any questions I had and was conversational without feeling pushy at all, and went over the various promos and deals and happily offered suggestions based on the items I was checking out. Even though he was busy with answering phone calls and greeting literally every person who came in, he was extremely respectful and courteous. He also was kind enough to show me around the store and mention various motorcycle care items that he uses. I ended up getting a great deal on Bluetooth comms and he happily offered to install it for me and even worked through pairing and some basic functions of the unit. I also purchased some other items that another salesman helped with while Robert was answering a call and he had the integrity to confirm who that was so they'd receive their commission for assisting. As a retail employee, this experience was a rare treat amongst the regular retail encounters nowadays and I'll be happy to return to this location in particular. To the management at Cycle Gear, you did well in hiring and training Robert as he was truly the most well versed and clearly spoken salesperson who I've worked with. I don't mean to discount the great experiences I've had before at CycleGear but today was a gold standard and I wanted to communicate it out. My only request is maybe a CycleGear location somewhere on the southwest side of town. Today's visit was worth the 50 mile round trip ride, but I can't logistically frequent the store as much as I'd like. Maybe I'll just need to move somewhere closer. read more

Came in to window shop gear with my partner. Customer service was amazing! We were shopping for around half an hour and two associates came to make sure we were taken care of. Both associates were extremely kind, well informed, and personable. I sadly didn't catch the first associates name but the second person was named Robert and he was extremely nice too. Not only were they personal they also didn't pressure us into buying anything while still giving us plenty of info. Prices within the store were comparable to any other gear shop if not better with a wide selection of items. Lots of cute gear for ladies like me who love pink too which is always a bonus. The store was also very clean and well maintained. If you're looking for gear this place is super accessible as it's next to the mall and I would definitely recommend stopping in. read more

I went in with my helmet as I was having issues with my Bluetooth. The associate Doug was very cool and helped me out. Great customer service. Love this store, it's like toys r us for adults. read more

One of the worker was being an asshole over the phone. I was just asking the size of the helmet shell size. The customer service sucks.

Two stars is because the sale people "make a guess" in another word, if they believe you are going to buy a bike suit or something expensive they are going like a bees to the honey. If they thing that your purchase is going to be small or less than a $100.00 GOOD LUCK. They are going to spend 5 minutes (if you lucky) I went to last Friday to purchase a visor ($29.99) after 3 minutes I was told we don't have it I replied about the other store NO I DO T BELIEVE AND LEFT ME IN THERE WATCHING THE DAMN CEILING. Their customer service was very good now it's a trash. read more

Can't give enough stars to my boy Ryan at Cycle Gear a Pecos it's my first motorcycle I purchase came in asking about gear didn't know really what I was talking about or what I was asking about and he said he was riding for over 10 years and he can walk me through everything , He walked me through everything in this picture to buy I love my helmet my wife's helmet both of our glovesAnd our Cena as 50 systems and are installed in our helmets thanks to Ryan taking the time out for so many days after they closed after 7 PM staying there to help us out trying on helmets gloves talking about Bluetooth systems and all the advantages and disadvantage is he basically walked us through everything from A-to-Z totally a valuable person first and employee second, hard to find such good customer service. I won't shop at any other location!!! Ryan your the best. Every time I come in he's more than willing to help me all the annoying questions and everything else that I have to ask he's there to help so valuable we love you Ryan! read more

Well the store is great for people that own motorcycles. But the name of the store doesn't really make sense. They don't really have anything for people that actually on cycles! In other words nothing for bicycles. So it was a bit misleading for me. read more

Stopped in to see what ladies gear they carried, we already knew what we were after. Robert helped us, he knew exactly what Bluetooth helmet I was looking for and sized me on the first try! Even the visor that wasn't in stock, it's being shipped straight to my house and will be there before I get back. Very professional staff, very helpful, store is nicely organized and clean. Definitely recommend! read more

As bad as I want to give them a 0 I cannot. Greg the store manager and Doug are the 2 most helpful guys in the industry. They go above and beyond for everybody. 100 great trips and 1 bad trip does not justify taking the 5 star away. But I will say this today I was in store dealing with Doug and as usual picture perfect service. His co-worker chimes in on a conversation. Inadvertently starts talking about a customer not realizing the customer he was talking about and criticizing was right in front of him. I knew the situation because it was my situation. I immediately called him out on it right away and he tried to back track saying that wasn't what he was talking about when indeed it was the exact thing he was talking about. Doug tried his best being professional to calm the situation down but the damage was already done. In no way did Robert get aggressive or have a rude tone. He just made a mistake talking about a situation to the customer that the situation was about. It was very unfortunate because I've been shopping at cycle gear since it was at pecos. I absolutely loved giving my business and helping there employees bolster their checks by any means of purchasing things. After today I don't feel I want to return to the store because of what had transpired. This store is absolutely amazing and the staff is 99.9 percent always on their game. Just today one wasn't and if the issue wasn't so deep due to health issues I would of water under the bridge it. But it actually was something more then just motorcycle gear. So again thank you Greg and Doug for always helping me and making my experience great and getting me anything I needed. But I was disrespected today beyond what I will just push over. read more

Great place, great staff, great selection. I do track days and need things locally so this is the place to get them for me. They price match wich is cool and they also help you get the best bang for your buck with their product knowledge. They also do tires at this location so a plus for me. The only negative I have which is not a huge deal Is they have a limited selection on parts and accessories. Again not a huge deal. So in conclusion I recommend cycle gear Pecos location my experience has been 5 star so far Update: 8/10/2019 I continue to get 5 star service from these guys I highly recommend. These guys always have what I need either online or in store. Thanks to the team at cycle gear! read more

Came in there 30 minutes before close and I was in there to try one shoes and a suit. I wasn't going to buy anything but they had no problem helping me last minute. I believe they have great customer service which every store should have. I can't speak for the Decatur Store. They're nice don't get me wrong but I didn't like the fact that a gentleman working there was chewing and spitting tabacco in front of me. It's disgusting to watch. There have been several times where I go to buy a helmet and they treat me like I'm going to steal something. Thank you Timothy and Greg (I don't remember the names sorry if I get it wrong.) for making the difference. Never going back to Decatur store again. I'm coming to this location from now on. read more

This location is closer to my side of town than the Decatur store, so I end up here more often. Being smaller than the other store, they do not have as much inventory to choose from, but the staff are great to deal with.
