My mechanic found that it should have never passed an inspection (it was purchased with a safety inspection). The bar under the front bumper was caved in, the bumper was falling off, there were issues with the Cadillac converter, the airbags werent working and the airbag lights were not on the dash, among other things. I asked for a refund and they refused, stating they would fix the issues. They had my car for about a month and refused to give me a free rental for the first three weeks. I'm a single mother and a full time student, I couldn't get myself or my children to school during this period of time. I was so behind on school work, although I had been doing it at home, I had missed much of the in class content, and nearly failed the entire semester. When I received my car back within a day the engine light was on again, the gas cap light was on again and it seems as if nothing was fixed. Additionally, the rental they gave me had parts inside that were literally glued together. I have been trying to figure out what my rights are (apparently I don't have many options) and trying to get time to bring it back to my mechanic while trying to pass my semester, be a full time mother and get through this brutal inflation that has hit so many of us hard... I can't afford to continuously drive to Toronto to get my car fixed when it was bought with a safety certificate......which has clearly been faked because there are too many issues to have passed. I got this car a little over a year ago now and need a new one already because it never should have been sold. Beyond disappointed with this place and would give it 0 stars if I could. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. Incompetent and untrustworthy. I had an excellence experience with gardiner motors, very honest people working there. Can't say the same for auto point.

I happened to be shopping for a used car and this place was the first one i visited, everything was going smoothly until I tell the guy i need time to think about the price, i wasnt even haggling about it, all i said was "i need time to think about it, it's my first car so". He immediately ripped off the paper with my info on it and swear if I comeback tomorrow he will sell it to me 150$ higher than the marked price. Im sure you find it hard to believe but it actually happened. I'm not sure this was his sale tactic or he's treating me based on my race. Nonetheless, this is not how you treat your customer. He never told me his name, but he was a middle aged Punjabi guy. The car was around $33,000. I was willing to buy it the same day except he told me my payments will be about $505 a month. I asked why he said because of the extended warranty which I wasn't even aware of. I asked him to take that off and I don't need it to which he responded to " OH NO THIS IS MANDATORY AND YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT. MINIMUM 1 YEAR AT LEAST FOR $3000 AS THIS IS COMPANY POLICY" I have never heard of a company police where you have to take extended warranty. I said I don't want it rather just buy the car he flat out told me no I have to take it or he cant sell me the car. So I walked out and said thank you. I later called to speak to the manager but one of the financial advisors answered so I asked him if its the company policy to buy extended warranty and he said no its optional so I explained what happened earlier and asked to talk to the manager and he said no the manager is gone they are closed but it was 30 min before closing and he just went quiet when I told him that. He then told me he works in finance and is not sure about what the policies are and hung up. Now with that being said it has happened to a lot of other people, there is no way these guys have such high reviews unless they are friends or ppl they may have paid to say these things. To be honest I would never waste my money or time at a place where the salesperson is ready to lie and scam you and when you call to complain they don't take the complain but as for your info to call you back.
