Excellent bar with excellent server - turns out he even grew up in my hometown too! So exciting

My partner and I visited this lovely, home style bar and absolutely loved it! The owner was so inviting and even let us stay past closing hour because we were having such a good time. This place is a must visit if you're in san fran, amazing drinks, perfect atmosphere, and such a nice owner (I believe his name was Karan). They don't have it on yelp but Tuesdays are "Happy Taco Tuesdays" with a free taco with every drink on the menu. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the parking was difficult to find (we had to walk 1 mile from the spot where we parked, and when we got back someone spray painted a phallus on our car door)

Chic interior, cheap drinks. I recommend stopping by if you are in the mission area. I particularly enjoy the bees knees and mudslide.

Been a regular at this place since it opened. Bartender has a heavy hand if you're into it. Tasty creative drinks, highly recommend!

By the time we arrived, the kitchen had already closed, but the staff kindly let us know that we were welcome to bring in outside food. They recommended Joyride Pizza next door, which turned out to be a great option to enjoy with our drinks. Both bartenders were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. The music selection was also really good and added to the fun, lively atmosphere. We stayed until around 12:30 a.m., and even more people were coming in as we were leaving--it definitely seems like a popular weeknight spot! We had a great time and are glad we found The Lark. Good drinks, great bartenders, fun music, and a relaxed outside-food policy--what more could you ask for? We'll definitely return the next time we're in San Francisco!

Hotel Nacional and an Espresso Martini and both were expertly made. Balanced, flavorful, and exactly what we were hoping for. They set the tone for a great afternoon. Later we added an order of chicken wings and a cold lager, and everything came together perfectly. Good food, great drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere made it easy to stay longer than we originally planned. What really stood out was the overall experience. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was stylish without feeling pretentious, and the entire place had a welcoming vibe. The Lark turned an unplanned stop into one of the highlights of our day. It's definitely the kind of place you'll want to come back to and we certainly will.

Harlan was kind of just a regular bar with vintage aesthetics. There did seem to be a booth area where perhaps live music is played, but there wasn't anyone performing when we were there. The drinks are reasonably-priced as far as cocktails in SF go, at $15 a pop. We tried the El Mariachi and The Green Room, which were both starred drinks. El Mariachi was way too chili-forward and we hardly tasted any of the pineapple juice, agave nectar, or grapefruit. It was hard to finish. The Green Room just didn't seem to come together either. The spices of falnernum were a bit overwhelming and gave the drink a bitter edge; the orgeat didn't go well with the remaining ingredients either. It was also way too sweet for our tastes. Overall an okay experience. The seating is nice and the ambience is still vibey. Service was decently quick; we got our drinks in about 10 minutes. Glad I got to check this place off the list, but don't feel much of a pull to come back.

I had the asparagus risotto, which was fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and delicious. The service was attentive and professional, and the elegant setting made the experience feel special. Arrived on a whim at around 6pm on a weekday and found a nice seat at the bar top. They have these little orb lights that can't be moved. Sitting in front of one takes some bar space away from you, so I changed seats to get a few more inches of space. Emilio the bartender was mega friendly and went over some items on the menu. He also told me I was right on time for the saber champagne presentation -more on that in a sec. For drinks, I ordered the Hibiscus Spice and the Paradise cocktail. Both were super fruity and delicious! I had a great time sipping on this while chatting it up with a few folks at the bar. To nibble, I can never say no to ahi tuna tartare and this one was great! The most interesting little wafers, ahi tuna with some avocado cream and a little spicy sauce. I absolutely devoured these! So good! Now for the best part, the champagne presentation! A gentleman gave a little info session on on how this process is done and at the end he took a giant to a bottle of champagne to open it. Really Cool! What made this even better was that everyone at the bar got to snag a complimentary glass. What a treat! Super cute little hour of so sitting at the bar at the St. Regis. Absolutely a little pricey, but i'ma girl who lives to spoil herself a bit. Because YOLO. Right?
