They were very fair in the negotiations, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I bet I was back four times before making my final decision and she was very good about answering all my questions. I will be starting with Rydell for my next purchase.

I took it to Rydell because they are local and was under the impression that they were a reputable business. When I went to pick up my Jeep after they had finished the wiring, I started it noticed that my abs sensor and traction control lights were now illuminated on my dash, when they had not been before. I immediately went inside brought it to the attention of Laura, their service rep. She had to bring it inside and kept saying that it had to be a coincidence. It was end of the workday and her tech had already left, so she hooked up the diagnostic tool and it showed that I had a bad driver side speed sensor. She was adamant that the wiring they had done was nowhere near the sensor and offered to show me where he was working underneath the hood. After she showed me and we closed the hood I noticed scratch on the hood of my jeep that was not previously there. When I asked about it, she stated that she didn't know how that could have happened unless it was during the car wash. I didn't bring my Jeep to get washed, I brought her to have some lights wired up. Then another service rep came over asked what's going on. We explained the situation to him and he assured me that they would take care of that scratch. Laura offered to come get my Jeep the next day and have the tech take a look at it and figure out what was causing the traction control and ABS lights to be on. I asked if this was going to cost me more and was told that if they found it not to be their fault, then yes. I told her I would bring my Jeep in myself and went ahead and scheduled the repair on the scratch. When I got home, I took a look under the hood and noticed that the tech hadn't remounted my horn after removing it for the wiring job. Honestly after all of this, I didn't feel comfortable having them look at my Jeep, so I called the next day and cancelled the diagnostic repair. I then took it to a local mechanic who ended up replacing the speed sensor... Lights still on. Then the next step, replace the wheel bearing(not cheep)... Lights STILL on. Then they discovered the problem. The fog lights had been directly wired into the ABS system. I then contacted Laura at Rydell about the situation. She scheduled me for a fix on the wiring, telling me that the same tech wouldn't be working on it because he would be in school that day and that she was going to have their "master tech" do it. When I picked my Jeep up I noticed the invoice said 1 hour labor. That's funny, because they charged me for 5 -6 hrs the first time. After all was said and done, I tried contacting the service manager repeatedly about some sort of financial kickback because now I'm down roughly $1,500 for something that should have cost me $300 and some change. After two weeks I finally get ahold of him. This guy sure had an "answer" for everything. He lies and says he's been trying to reach me, but I hadn't had a single missed call. Then he says that it took longer than one hour the second time, but the tech only logged in for an hour because he knew he wasn't getting paid and they cut me a break the first time. That it actually took close to 7 hours. I call b.s. He also stated that the wiring diagram from Mopar was wrong. Really?! Yeeeeaaahhh ok buddy. Long story short, they got my money and weren't going to give any back even though they had some serious shortcomings. Also probably worth mentioning that, during the process, they also managed to unhook one of my fender flare marker lights. I've been driving around with just one of them being functional, because I'd rather drag my knuckles and ass across 40 grit sandpaper than to ever do business with Rydell of Independence again.
