Or as elusive as the wind. But alas-- I now know someone and you do, too. Stephanie's Custom Clothing & Alterations is now my place for any future alteration needs. I scoured the Google machine, as well as the Yelp App and found Stephanie. I popped on her website and huzzah! I could text her and send photos of what I was dealing with to see if it was something she could accommodate. (I like walking into appointments feeling prepared, showing what it was and explaining it beforehand helped me do that.) She quickly responded and we got an appointment set up a week later. She even was able to do later in the afternoon, as to accomodate my daughter that was in summer camp. The day of the appointment Stephanie was polite, professional and really seemed to know her stuff. Her shop is in a room just off her house-- totally separate with it's own entrance. She pinned both my and my little's dresses to be hemmed for an upcoming wedding and said she'd them ready within a week! Pricing seemed on par. I've been using them for my drycleaning/laundry…read moreservice for almost 30 years --as well as comforters, dresses for my wife and daughters and my grandfathers WWII Naval uniform. Very friendly. Due to some fragile buttons on my dress shirts I now have them hand press some of my shirts (extra fee). Hope to they continue to find friendly, hardworking people to keep this convenient location going for another 30 years.
