This was my first visit to Iowa and it's beautiful and that goes for the people too. Me and my adult kids were going to the fair when my suv needed an alternator suddenly. Cliff checked my vehicle and found I needed an alternator mine had stopped charging my battery and my dash was lite up like Christmas. My husband went out today put in a new battery and 70 bucks in plugs and wires and it works like a champ. Not only did they lie and try to squeeze money out of us but they also made no attempt to fix what they messed up. I took my car to Tuffy's after Ericksons did $400 of work on my car and my service engine light was still on and then he asked me if I had any problems with my brakes I've never had an issue with my brakes until I left his shop the next day I went to Tuffy's in they said that he drained my brake fluid was completely empty I've never had problems just had an oil change all things were tapped off and go in the same place to have an oil change for the last six years but all of a sudden it was empty or you serious so he's trying to cause problems on my car now I need brakes and my calibers are bad because I drove with no brake fluid in my car this is not even half of what this man is done do not waste your time he is legitimately crazy and he forgets everything he could have your car for a week unless you call him he wouldn't even start on it it could be sitting in front of his door he does not remember anything. But nothing could prepare me for the last time. Had my diesel pickup towed there with a splattered engine. They seemed confident enough claiming that they 'live and breathe these things'. The "we'll get started on it next week" turned into 3 months. M-o-n-t-h-s! Finally when they did begin work on the cab-off engine swap it only took about 4 days to complete. Of course there were some problems that would be expected with such major work, one of which they fixed right away. But for several problems involving warrantee re-work issues (one that left me stranded road-side) I couldn't get them to call me back. In fairness they did call back 3 days later. Probably just as well. I'd had enough and just paid someone else to fix it properly. Avoid. Seriously.

I've noticed every time I get new tires weather for mine or someone's else's vehicle They don't seal very well. Always leaking around the rim and tires, got charged every time I took the tire in to be repaired. My theory was right; I bought new tires elsewhere for my daughter van and for my granddaughter and just have not had any issue like from this place. They maybe fast at changing tires but you'll pay more in the long run.
