I've been bringing my rides here for more than a decade because I don't trust many people with my rusted, busted jalopies but I know Sarge can bring them back from the brink. Able to work on the whole range of cars, trucks, vans, RV's and even commercial vehicles, Sarge specializes in VW repair and other German imports but knows he way around a lift regardless of the brand. Pricing is standard shop labor and parts costs, willing to work with ya if there are financial issues sort of thing. Then he bent axle puting it in wants 3500 for damage he caused. Claimed i was over miles and it was out of warranty. He Charged me for the leak he caused. I proved in court he lied about the whole thing. He said i was over miles even claimed i put 500 miles on it when it left his shop pouring out fluid and i drove it straight back to his shop. In all he cost me over 10k dollars in damages to my 70k Jeep. Leked fluid over brakes that needed replced. Plus I had to redo the gears. Because he left it leaking three different times. I had to pay to get the ben axle fixed the he bent overtighning it. Any ruin my custom wheels Because he couldn't find a key to unlock the lock. Rather than call me , he just broke it off Leaving tears in all my wheels. He admitted in court that he didn't even know how to fix his daughter's jeep. That he misdiagnosed her Jeep with the same thing, 3 different times before he realized it was a Bent axle. He's meat , head that thinks brute force and banging stuff is the answer to everything. This guy's the biggest crook and liar you will ever come across. He outsourced the work. Had it for3 days every time. Put over five hundred miles on my jeep. He stole paperwork out of my glove box. Trying to say that it was over miles on the warranty. Well , I proved in court , he was lying. I had a battery installed before he worked on it.And after it left his shop proving my miles. Otherwise , he would have got away with it. Absolutely do not go to this guy.

Matt was very rude very unhelpful. I was told they ran into unexpected issues and those issues needed to be fixed so they fixed them no call no heads up I was quoted $500. I ended up paying $1680 went to pick up the truck the following morning the original person I dealt with was very nice and accommodating with trying to negotiate a better balance price since all these things were done without my approval however the manager or owner, then came through the door and made the statement do not argue with him take the truck to our compound lock it up and he can argue it out in court. This is not a way to treat paying customers when a customer is given a quote and some thing more needs to be done a phone call needs to be made for the customers approval. I do not recommend this place at all.

My husband has been a long-time customer of Economy Auto, which makes this experience especially…read moredisappointing. We brought in a vehicle we are preparing for our teenage daughter. The car was making a grinding noise and vibrating when turning right, even at low speeds. Over the course of three separate visits and nearly $4,000 in repairs, the original issue was never resolved. We were told that nothing visible appeared to be wrong, that there were no safety concerns, and that the issue could only be reproduced when driving over 50 mph or "driving poorly." However, after picking up the vehicle and driving it home at or below the speed limit, the problem reproduced immediately during normal right-hand turns, including from a complete stop. Given the continued issue, we sought a second opinion. Another repair shop diagnosed the problem within 24 hours and fully resolved it. They were able to reproduce the issue immediately while turning out of their parking lot. The cause was a faulty left CV joint, which had visible play and required replacement. We were surprised this was not identified during the previous inspections, especially considering the number of other components that had already been replaced. A failing CV joint is a safety concern. If left undiagnosed and un-repaired, it can lead to further mechanical failure and potential loss of control while driving. Had we accepted the recommendation that nothing was wrong and continued operating the vehicle without further evaluation, this issue could have progressed into a much more serious safety risk. Given that this vehicle is intended for our teenage daughter, properly identifying and addressing any safety-related concerns is important. I returned to Economy Auto to discuss the situation and requested consideration on how he could make this right. To me a partial refund of labor, since the original issue had not been diagnosed or repaired after multiple visits seemed fair. I was informed that refunds are not offered. While I understand that policies exist, when a vehicle is misdiagnosed multiple times and the initial concern remains unresolved after significant expense, some accountability would have been appreciated. After years of loyalty to this shop, this experience has unfortunately caused us to lose confidence in their diagnostic process. We are very disappointed and will be taking our business elsewhere moving forward.
