I booked the day off of work to be there. They were scheduled to be there between 12-3 on November 3rd, as per our official booking notice we received. We received a call from Amber Piano movers around 10am to confirm the pick up between 12-3, saying that McNally requested they do the pick up for them. We made the arrangements and made sure to be home from 12-3. We received a call at the pick up location informing us that they would be there between 3 and 4. At 4:30, I contacted Amber Piano Movers to find out their ETA. He refused to provide us with an ETA, only told us that it would be sometime before the end of the night. We told him it had to be no later than 8pm. He assured me that he would be leaving his current location in Bolton within 1.5 hours. At 7:50, I contacted him yet again and asked where he was. He said "oh, well I guess it looks like I'm not going to make it tonight." As if it was no big deal and that we hadn't been sitting around for EIGHT HOURS waiting for him. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Pick up her upright grand piano (like 800lbs) and drive it to me in Toronto. Bring it up all my stairs and set it up in my living room. The guy was just like... sure, no problem, I'll send 3 guys and a truck. - They bundled all my services (including 2 moves and a tuning) and gave me a discounted rate off the a-la carte prices for everything). - They treated my old piano like it was a brand new one worth thousands of dollars, wrapping it and lifting it carefully at every step of the way. I will definitely use this service again when I move.

I have utilized CPPS for both tuning and repair services and have found them to be courteous, professional and timely. In the age of the Internet sites like Yelp and those of similar ilk, they are truly only as strong as the honesty and integrity of their reviewers, and in a sense their filtering systems. When I see a lone faceless reviewer from Seattle WA with one negative review to their name attempting to sully the reputation of a good local business I had to step in. It's not my intent to call anyone out by name, and if you have read any of my reviews ( I think I'm close to 100 now), you will see that I have never done so. But when I see any overt attempt by a fellow Yelper to try and tarnish a businesses reputation, especially a business that I know to be reputable, I have to address the matter. Any chance you are looking to set up a business catering to Piano services in Toronto Heather r.
