Ahmed and his partner arrived a few minutes early which was very helpful and they worked efficiently and were very careful when handling my furniture and boxes and other items like lamps. Moving between condos means having only so much elevator time and they completed the move within the time allotted. This is truly a company that cares and is always willing to help.I had a problem with opening a couple of drawers in one of my dressers - it's an older solid wood one - and I contacted Pari at the office and asked she knew of anyone who might be able to help. She responded immediately and sent someone over to check it out the very next day. Ahmed came and examined and studied the dresser and worked until he finally figured out the problem. The problem seemed to be a result of the extra humidity in my new place which caused the wood to expand just enough to cause a issue. After Ahmed's help, the drawers now open and shut as they should. A lot of companies might just feel that once the move was complete their job was done but Great Toronto Movers went above and beyond the call of duty to help. And I should mention the pricing. The pricing is very fair and you know exactly how the pricing is structured and there are no hidden fees - something I discovered that many moving companies have - but not Great Toronto Movers. Truly the best moving experience I have had and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks very much to Great Toronto Movers. Charlie

Red Carpet Service!…read more A new job, a death in the family AND MOVING! Three of the most stressful life events. I was very stressed up until my move day. As a single person, packing and preparing to move was a lot of work. I also didn't know how the move-in at the new apartment would work, with one small elevator that could not go on service. Nick is very good at his job. We spoke several times after the initial on-site quote. He assured me that my move would be fine and that Victoria Movers was there to take that stress away from me. They guys were amazing. Some of the furniture didn't fit in the elevator at the new apartment. Luckily I only moved to the third floor. They somehow made it seem effortless to maneuver large pieces of furniture around corners and tight stairwells. Nick even went of his way and showed up on move day to make sure everything was under control. In the end, the move was faster than anticipated, traffic was very light and the drive time between apartments was shorter than expected. I used Victoria movers on the recommendation of a friend, who had used them twice. I didn't even quote with any other company. I'll use them again, but hopefully I'll stay in my new location for several years! Thank you Nick and crew for all your hard work!

The movers are still doing a great job this time...and I noticed the bill had a tip of 10%, which came up to about $90 for my move. I asked the lead whether they got the tip, to my surprise, he said "no"...so I tipped them...and inquire about the tipping policy...another surprise...the company responded...the tip goes to movers and office staff?????? A mandatory tip going to office staff!?!?!? My thinking is, do these mandatory tips goes toward the hourly rate for the movers? Hope not, but it is for sure something I would be very wary of...

We are renovating our current home so we needed to move out but we will be sure to call them back when we need to move again!! 110% recommend!! A huge thank you once again Jia Jia! Also stopping at a storage unit along the way out of the city. Big oof! We all know what Toronto traffic is like. However, Jason and his team put all my worries to rest. He also came to look at our place a few days before moving day to assess everything. On moving day, his team packed and wrapped everything very quickly. They were professional, asked questions, kept in contact on the phone during each process of the move and were very friendly. We originally asked for a team of 5 and two trucks but ended up with a team of 4 at the start and 1 truck. Reduced down to a team of 3 at our new place to unpack everything. We were charged accordingly to the changes. No hidden fees or BS, everything was told to us as changes were being made and explained again when the bill came. Prices were super reasonable for the distance. We provided water, gatorade (at both places) and breaks whenever the movers needed. People forget that this is a very physically gruelling task and my partner and I would have never done what they did in such a short period of time. We were so appreciative we even ordered pizza for them at our new place, while they finished unloading all our stuff. We had over 40 boxes and tons of furniture. 11/10 I would use them again and highly recommend them! They are true to their word "In and out".

The movers in Ontario who came up to Ottawa for a small fee, will equally courteous, efficient and organized. Overall I am satisfied with MTS moving. Moving is stressful, MTS moving has the procedures and structure to reduce the stress with the clear online tools, notifications and follow up prior pick up and prior delivery. If there was to be any misunderstanding, it would be cleared out rather quickly and the transport went smoothly. They do have a minimum weight for their services, just be aware of that and take into account the coordination and logistics needed for cross country moving. I wanted something cost efficient and avoid some of the headaches and worry that come with other movers. I got my quote and booked it early before the Hormuz war, so they honoured the rates per the quote as opposed to now, the time of execution, where rates and fuel prices has gone up. Looking forward to unpack and rewind!
