I love the Windsor/ Santa Rosa area, and being a CVS junkie, I had to stop in on my recent stay. The store seemed nice enough until I visited the ladies' room. Eeeeeeeeeeeek! It was the worst bathroom disaster I have ever witnessed. Worse than any public park. Absolutely inexcusable. If the condition of the restroom is a gauge for their customer service, then they are seriously in trouble. read more

My gosh this is the freaking worst pharmacy I've ever used. Slow slow slow and way understaffed. Staff you're pharmacy instead of running your employees to death. Organize the place so it's more efficient. Go to Walmart, target or Safeway unless you like waiting hours. read more

Unless you have all day to kill, do NOT get your prescriptions sent there! HORRIBLE service! I waited an hour and 20 minutes in line only to be told they could not find my prescription. After searching for another 10 minutes I was told they found the prescription and it was going to be another hour to pick up because Peter the pharmacist had to go to lunch. The five people that were ahead of me in line all left without their prescriptions for some reason or another. There were still 11 people behind me in line when I left! Hope they had better luck!! I would give zero stars if I could. I am physically disabled and have to get prescriptions at least every two weeks. This pharmacy will not help you. The head pharmacist is arrogant. I brought in a prescription once and was turned away by him, the reason being that they were out of that medicine. He told me to go to a different pharmacy. I asked him to check if they had the medicine at a different cvs location and he told me they didn't do that. I asked again and he reluctantly complied only to find that lo and behold! they did in fact have the medicine in stock. There have been countless more incidents of unprofessional conduct. If you have a choice, fill your prescriptions anywhere else. read more

If I could give this CVS pharmacy no stars or even NEGATIVE stars I would. Absolutely horrible! They lost my information & my prescription twice! Even after they sent me a text to say it was ready they couldn't find it. There were 3 people in front of me in line & each person couldn't get their Rx due to a mistake the pharmacy made. One lady was in tears because the pharmacist disagreed with the Rx the doctor prescribed for her sick little girl & wouldn't fill it!! Worst experience of any CVS & that's saying a lot. read more

This place is just awful. They are woefully understaffed, have terrible communication among the team, have a constant revolving door of pharmacists and techs (except Mary who is the only one there who has a clue what's going on). I've filled approx 12 rx's per month here for 3 years and I'm done. Switching to Raleys. I've given them more than enough time to get their stuff together and they haven't. Not to mention the store itself looks so dated and antiquated, clearly this CVS is not a priority for the corporation. I waited until the day after my doctor called in a prescription and they still didn't have it filled. Then the only place to wait is in dirty chairs. You could always stand, but I waited for 45 minutes!! I think they only fill scripts when a person is waiting in line. It is so much faster to go to Safeway, Raleys, or even Walmart. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone. If your insurance only works at CVS I'd head to Santa Rosa. read more

Wow where do I start. I called in my prescription and it was rejected by the doctor, no refills. I get that. A week later called to find out that. No follow up? I called and talked to a staff guy, he said he would fill it that day. Next day they said, "oh sorry not ready".... 20 minutes later they said were out of that drug come back Monday :-( In the meantime one of the pharmacist gals says, " I need a break, I haven't peed in 4 hours". Did we really need to hear this? I don't know where these unprofessional people come from but I am done with CVS Windsor. Look at these reviews folks and the dates, they are quite consistent. Absolutely the worst pharmacy ever. This is what happens when a national chain buys a wonderful regional company. You get underpaid workers that are over worked. Why bother to send a prescription is ready notification, if it's not ready or you can't find it?! I'm done with CVS. read more

Eh. I come here if I need to pick something up really quick. Most of the people that work here are o.k. There is one older guy that is quite rude. One time, my mom, sister, and I literally just walked into the store and he said, "We don't want any trouble in here" to us. We weren't even being loud or anything. Another time, he was our cashier and we bought a thing of nail polish. There was nail polish painted on the barcode and he got really snotty, like we were the ones that did painted it. Not sure how that would have benefited us...? He made another guy go get another one, and was rude to him too. We asked for stamps and he scanned the barcode, charged us, but never put the stamps in the bag! Had to go back the next day and work the situation out. Thankfully, the nicer guy from the night before was there and helped us. It is usually pretty quiet and lines are short most of the time. read more

This is not about the Pharmacy which I had to stop using years ago due to mistakes and many other issues. I feel so bad for this store . The stock in the store is so low. I occasionally there as it is very convenient. The Management can no longer adjust or 'fix' a known problem. These poor people who try to be helpful can't explain why the punch in coupon dispensers don't work frequently. This has been a problem for years! The other day I stopped in because I had a great experience two months ago with helpful people, who I don't see anymore. I was looking for low height lawn chairs for an outdoor concert. They were so helpful and offered to order more from a Healdsburg location. When I visited a few days ago, these folks weren't there. This time I went in to get basic eye drops. Mainly the CVS Brand is being offered rather than 'other options'. I stopped at the coupon dispenser, which was 'acting up'. It kept telling me that I already got coupons which I hadn't. After several minutes I asked for help. The Cashier kept getting the same message. Not one coupon came out! Nothing happened at the Register either. Normally you can find a great assortment of Halloween or seasonal items. Not anymore. At one time a couple of years ago was concerned about having to wait in lines. Not anymore. Just a sad, understocked location, with very willing but sad employees. Plenty of parking now as there are so few customers. read more

Terrible experience, I only gave 1 star because there was nothing less to give them. Incompetence is unbelievable!!! and scary!!! Took in 2 hard copy prescriptions on one paper yesterday from my Dr. My first time there so I talked a bit while giving them my info. Got a text later in the day saying they were ready. Went to pick up today and they only had one....I told her there were 2 and she checked the computer and said "we only have a prescription for one" in a snotty tone. Told her I hand delivered it myself so i know there were 2 on one paper. After 20 minutes of searching they found the prescription. After trying to blame my Dr for putting 2 on one paper the girl says there's a problem with the way it's written...(it's been written the same way for the last 10+ years without a problem where i use to go)...... The prescription had the start and end date on the prescription which ended up confusing them all for another 10 minutes. I tell them to call my Dr's associate because my Dr leaves at noon. Then the pharmacist says I will when I get back from lunch.....REALLY???? So I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for a prescription they said was ready the night before. Needless to say I won't be returning. If they couldn't read the whole page when filling the first prescription it scares the hell out of me to think of what else they could miss.....Incompetence and medications do not mix....go somewhere safe, where they pay attention and will give you competent service.... check yelp first, not after like me. Always an issue with refills. Never ready on time, even after I receive a phone call about prescriptions being ready for pick up! Always understaffed. Employees very efficient but workload way to high. Tonight I get off late from work and I get to this Cvs about 7mins before they close, and the doors are locked! I stood outside the door staring at 2 employees. They don't even acknowledge me, or try to explain why they've closed early. That's not all, I go there often and every time I show up right before close the night clerk is so rude! She doesn't even smile or greet you, it's automatically "we close in 5mins" with a terrible attitude. Seriously? I know you do I just need to grab something really quick. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Every time I come there seems to be an issue. The offense? I picked up medicine for my 2 month old son that hadn't been compounded yet! They have me a box and it wasn't until I got home I realized the instructions were for the pharmacist! Am I now a pharmacist? And why am I paying them to do their job? We will be looking for an alternative pharmacy....Health First is great in Windsor...our insurance just doesn't cover them or I would totally go there! read more

CVS is not my favorite chain. However, we have always had courteous, friendly service from the employees and they have always followed through with prescription timing, etc. The lines can be unfortunate, but I believe they do their best. read more

They usually have what I am looking for but the lines can get long, in a short time. Their candy selection is good but the carpeted floor is a bit odd for a pharmacy. Seems that a linoleum floor would be easier to keep clean. Their prices for many things seems to be a bit high however. I shop there carefully. read more

I have recently starting getting a prescription filled here. There is a woman (don't know her name) that helped me fill the prescription and she was very knowledgeable, helpful, knew how to resolve problems when the new doctor didn't make the prescription currectly (not the same as my old prescription) and she knew how to deal with my insurance company. She is all business and not that outgoing and friendly but she is very busy. She was a big help in dealing with my insurance company...and she knew what to do and who to call to get problems resolved. The pharmacist was OK but to busy to be really friendly...but did his job when I ask for information. The other employees might not be as good but I don't see them much. As long as they keep this up I will stay. But if things go sour later (or they get rid of the employee that is such a help to me even though she is all business and not personal at all) I will consider going elsewhere. But for now I am satisfied. I kinda like it not being to personal and "in my business." I hated Walmart...service was terrible. Raleys was OK except that it was "to personal"...and it was often impossible to speak to someone privately instead of in front of a line of people behind me. I'd rather go somewhere where I am more anonymous and not feel like everyone there knows me and my business. I'd rather just be "another customer" and speak to the pharmacist far away from the line of people behind me waiting their turn...and that is what I got at CVS...more privacy from other people when the pharmacist speaks to me about my "medication." read more

The pharmacy at this Windsor, CA location is awful, and that is mainly due to the extremely rude pharmacist named Peter. Every time I've gone there to pick up my prescriptions and had to have consultations regarding them he (Peter) is so rude! He wouldn't even make eye contact when "explaining" about my new prescription and practically barked at me when I asked a question. It's kind of hard to understand him when he speaks because he has an accent. Once when I couldn't understand something he said, I asked another question and he rolled his eyes at me, sighed loudly, made a face at me and then proceeded to bark out a response that I still couldn't interpret. I was so afraid to ask again that I just took my prescription and left. I couldn't believe how rude he was. I've witnessed him being rude to other customers too so I know it's not just me. That was the last time I went to that pharmacy. I switched my prescriptions to another pharmacy because I will not patronize a store that would hire someone as rude and unprofessional as that pharmacist Peter. read more
