Horrible store! Pricing is inaccurate at counter. Rude salespeople. Just drive to another pharmacy or store. If you do shop there, price check your items. The sale prices may be wrong and they don't care! You can never speak to the pharmacy. Their system says your medication will be ready at a certain time, but don't depend on it. read more

Rude people. They act as if it is a bother to get something they lock. They are not helpful when asking for something. All CVS stores put their yellow sales tags over the product so you have to read the sales tag to find the product. Typically people look for the box and the brand but here you read every sales tag and it is frustrating! read more

Today I tried to fill my prescription. Staff was rude, but fine. The lady on the phone told me since my prescription wasn't approved by insurance I couldn't fill it. I explained I was paying out of pocket. She insisted I had to have the doctor send a new prescription?! Called the doctor and called her back explaining this should not be the case and was not at other CVS. She said thats how her store worked and was rude af. I had to have the same script sent to Walgreens because she refused my money lol. read more

According to the CVS website, no appointment is needed (and you can't make one - I tried) for the Novavax vaccine. Appointments are for Moderna and Pfizer only. I walked in today and was told that I needed to make an appointment. Thinking that they assumed another vaccine, I said that I couldn't make an appointment for the Novavax because it is a walk in only thing. The pharmacist was started arguing with me, telling me again that the website doesn't allow appointments for Novavax. I reiterated again that I can't make an appt online because it is supposed to be available as a walk in. She continued by saying that it is at the pharmacist's discretion whether or not they would accept walk-ins. And they couldn't accommodate a walk-in so I had to make an appt online. Frustrated, I said again that I can't. The person originally helping me finally agreed to make me an appointment there. I walked him through the online process to make an appointment and showed him that I couldn't - so he's aware for the next person who comes in. read more

THEY HUNG UP ON ME Terrible service! I called to check on a prescription for my mother-in-law; after 6 minutes on hold the clerk said "we're working on her prescription now", when asked when it will be ready, THEN she told me "we are out of stock" (codeine #3s - super common medicine)! "It might come in Thursday" (it's Tuesday, they got the script Monday). I said "You were going to let this woman sit in pain for days?" She hung up on me..... read more

This CVS is a nightmare to work with from a provider standpoint. I can't even imagine dealing with them as a patient trying to get a prescription filled! Nobody answers the phone when you need to call in a Rx or deal will a possible med error because your patient didn't get the proper dose that you prescribed. My faxes only go through half the time. That may be on my end, but it hasn't been a problem with other pharmacies. I recommend anywhere else and will try to avoid sending any further business their way. read more

CVS on Jamestown Rd is the worst pharmacy! They went down hill very quickly. I think the pharmacist has a problem filling prescriptions for any and all controlled medication. Medications that are not effected by shortages are left in out of stock status over a week until you eventually have to ask your doctor to call it in somewhere else. Absolutely ridiculous!! The pharmacist isn't a medical doctor and should order and fill the prescriptions or find a different line of work!! I would give 0 stars but it's not an option read more

If I could give this place a -5 I would but sadly 0 is the lowest I can give. Several times I have had to wait while staff just ignore waiting customers, I have had them forget to fill my prescriptions and today while there were about 20 people waiting in line they let some guy just cut in front of everyone. Sorry but no. He can wait patiently like every other person. Then when I get up to the person at the register they spend 5 min to tell me that they hadn't even started to fill my rx and I'd have to wait another 30 minutes. I had gotten a text confirmation a week ago that they received it. This is completely unacceptable. Finding a different pharmacy and letting everybody know not to got to this place at all. read more

Every time I walk into this store there is an employee with a condescending attitude and looks like they hate to be bothered to work. Especially since you have recently put in the new self check out. Most of the time you still need an employee to assist in some kind of way and Lord forbid you have to ask for assistance. The attitude is horrendous. Tired of coming here, been a local for many years now and today was the last day I will ever visit again. I'll take the ride to the next location. Management needs a wake up call. Continued horrible experiences. Prescriptions are being filled when they should not be and not filled when they should be. Slow - they are quite understaffed. If you can get your prescription filled, have it delivered or prepare to camp out. After 3 years I am transferring everything out. read more

I visited Store #2537 at 1187 Jamestown Road Williamsburg, VA 23185 at 8:45a today and there was no one on the store floor and the three pharmacy personnel didn't see me standing at their cash register for over 10 minutes. It wasn't until some triggered the pharmacy drive through that someone even looked up. Just terrible customer service. read more

Completely unacceptable-waited in drive through for 10 minutes and had to call the main store line to tell them no one was helping. Tech comes to window and proceeds to take down a blind, drink water and get a heater going and then "with an attitude" do you need help? Of course - we aren't just parked here for nothing. Store is continuing to be short staffed. Their drive thru window is closed, making it difficult for persons with disabilities. there is something wrong with their notifications system, meaning if you are texted with "your prescriptions are ready" it does not necessarily mean that they are ready. I stood in line for 15 minutes only to learn that one of the three prescriptions was "on hold" which stopped the two other prescriptions from being filled. I was told to come back in "at least" an hour for the two that are approved. The staff was pleasant in spite of the system difficulties but there were several grumbling and vocal customers. Not a pleasant atmosphere. It is so frustrating to be notified ready when the order in actuality is not. Doubly frustrating when you struggle with a walker in/out of the car (remember, no drive thru) and then stand in line, only to find out you have to come back. read more

Called the pharmacist Monday to have a script transferred from my old CVS of 25 years in Richmond. New business to this store, right? I was told that there were no renewals for it. I had to ask, can you call the doctor and get it renewed, then I was told yes. I was obviously putting this person to too much trouble. Ok, so today, Saturday I called to check the status and I was told I was not in the system for a script, and oh, they do not call doctors for a transferring script. Been a customer of CVS and own shares of CVS stock well over 25 years. Harris Teeter here I come!!! read more
