Your bag is searched and footage is reviewed that you did nothing wrong, but it makes you feel like a criminal. First guy said sign was for sodas on next shelf down, denying a customer would conclude the sign was for the shelf the sign was on. I asked for supervisor, taking her to the cokes. When I showed her, including that shelf below had it's own signage, She changed story, saying sign belonged to items 4 places over! beginning to feel like I was in twilight zone I asked for store manage. He, nick, came over and immediately admitted their signage placement was the problem, store had problems like this, and refunded the 1 pack I was due. Larger issue is that employees immediately took up wacky, contradictory positions to defend the sale sign to the point of simply making up contradictory nonsensical arguments - all instead of simply viewing it as a customer and admitting the store's mistake.
