The on-line site is so difficult to work with, that after you have carefully checked to see that your final cost after using coupons, rewards, etc., definitely does not go over the $35 limit for free shipping, they still inject their shipping cost for the final amount. The corner of Railroad Ave and Washington St is crazy - 3 (yes, 3) convenience stores, and the only reason why there aren't 4 is because there is a parking lot on the other corner. If those stores didn't need the parking, there would probably be a store there. But Quick Stop would still be the best... nice man and woman seem to own and/or run it (husband and wife, perhaps?), they always seem to be open, and they are incredibly friendly. And unlike the shady convenience store diagonally across the street, when you walk in, you don't have to walk through 5 townies outside who are smoking before they go inside to wait for the next Keno game. Lottery players are a big customer base here, I suppose, but all your basics are here too, as are the best prices on Diet Coke (my personal vice). Go on in and you won't regret it!

Hey, what does she care if you're waiting 10 minutes (or more) in line? And the pharmacy? The wait goes clear down the toothpaste aisle, but it gives you a good chance to read up on plaque, tartar and gum disease. The thing that REALLY drives me nuts about the pharmacy is the new "20 questions" game when picking something up. Announce your name, address, date of birth to everyone in line (hey, why not your phone number and social security number too??). I went to pick up some needed medication before the pharmacy closed. A man was there when I got there and they told him there was no medicine for him to pick up. The woman was joined by another woman and they kept talking to him. They spoke to his wife over his cell phone. Oh, his medication was at a Brockton CVS! No problem, they decided to just shoot the breeze with him for a very long time. I was never even acknowledged, even though I had been clearly waiting. They just ignored me completely. Who was this guy? Well, I should have come bearing gifts because he brought them a pizza gratis! So that allowed him to monopolize their time and just let me stand there like a schlep for over ten minutes. It was very annoying especially as I was feeling ill. I had to leave. They may still be talking to this guy! I will never shop at this CVS again and even though the Walgreens in Westwood isn't great, I will be taking my pharmacy business there.

This gas station used to be called RoJo and sold to the Irving chain of gas stations. Locals still…read morerefer to it as RoJo's as the RoJo car wash is still on the property. They have 12 self-serve pumps with long hoses so that customers may use either side. There is a one-way entrance on Rt. 1 South. They have the cheapest gas around with cash purchases being less than credit and if you get a car wash during the same visit, the gas is even less expensive. There is an attendant at the booth who can make change. Bills can be inserted at the pumps and they have their own rewards program for additional savings on gas. I always plan to get gas here when I am nearby.
