With that said, I argue that it was a necessary addition to have a reason to visit this new little plaza with Subway and the hair place, and it brings business to a previously neglected area of land that was extremely underdeveloped. It has all the normal perks of any 7-Eleven, and while I don't have anything against the other convenience places in the area (all seem pretty good, and very competitive), this one by far has the best parking lot, has the most selection in store, and the best prices. Since 7-Eleven is the largest convenience store nationally, it explains why they have the most amenities in their stores and have the best prices. As said before, this area of Dedham only has a few convenience stores, no big grocery stores which makes 7-Eleven even a more viable option for residents, visitors, or those driving through the area. My highest suggestion is to download the 7-Eleven app for the most savings, frequently they have a "free item" promotion on their too, which I always enjoy. Main point though, you'll be able to get everything you need (and more!) here, and they have the normal 7-Eleven coffee, slurpees, and lots of ready to go lunch options (quick for on the go......). Staff are always friendly and enjoy getting to know their frequent customers. It's also so helpful that the Boston Sunday Globe is always in stock! This heavy set woman with gold glasses waited; on me on the night shift. I had several negative experiences with her . Due to her rudeness, horrific customer service adequate and low emotional intelligence . She is always on the night shift on my experiences. ( this information is so you can adequately identify this employee). Today she sold me scratch tickets at around 9:20 pm. I went over to the keno area to scratch them . It took me less than 4 minutes. I went back to cash and buy another . She said at 9:24pm literally 4 minutes later. " She did me a favor by selling me the tickets" , prior because they stop selling tickets at 9:00 pm. So giving her my hard earned monies is her doing me a favor . Geez Louise ! The lack of customer service skills is horrendous. The low emotional intelligence blows your mind away . Second incident: different day I go in to get a soda and snacks . I go to the register with this same cashier , to pay . She says I have to open the safe . That I need to back away . This made me feel uncomfortable. She should lock the door and open the safe not with customers inside . Third incident: different day She tells me I need to scratch the bottom of my scratch tickets , because she doesn't get paid enough for this . She basically screamed this with other customers behind me . I felt uncomfortable. I might have left one unscratched but not all because it's not my first rodeo . Again her low emotional intelligence in her way of addressing a situation is horrific customer service. Fourth incident: This time it's not even 9:00 pm . I go to buy tickets she says they stop selling them . So if you can please address the time scratch tickets stop being sold . To have a consistency for customers like myself . They now have taken up the full former site of Buchanan Fireplace with a huge new convenience store, Marylou's Coffee (with drive thru), 8 pump station, with diesel as well. The store is giant and is well stocked enough to get a week's worth of groceries for my house (if it was the only place to go.... I'm not paying convenience store prices for all my groceries!) and features a Ball Park Hot Dog machine. Staff are friendly and service is spectacular. Store is immaculate and designed in a superb and modern manner. I've been to other Seasons locations and have to say that this is the largest one yet, and the nicest one. Both the Randolph and Framingham locations (the only other two that are relatively close) are tiny and extremely congested. Plus, what could be better than a drive thru Marylou's (especially with Dunkin Donuts being RIGHT next door!!!!). It was extremely hysterical seeing the Dunkin Donuts lot absolutely EMPTY this morning and seeing the Marylou's drive thru line leading out near the Rt 1 exit. Overall, the gas prices are moderately price (and a great deal if you have Stop&Shop gas points, and for me this is fabulous... since I do all my shopping at Stop&Shop), and the luxurious convenience store and Marylou's just add on to the satisfaction. 5 stars. The corner of Railroad Ave and Washington St is crazy - 3 (yes, 3) convenience stores, and the only reason why there aren't 4 is because there is a parking lot on the other corner. If those stores didn't need the parking, there would probably be a store there. But Quick Stop would still be the best... nice man and woman seem to own and/or run it (husband and wife, perhaps?), they always seem to be open, and they are incredibly friendly. And unlike the shady convenience store diagonally across the street, when you walk in, you don't have to walk through 5 townies outside who are smoking before they go inside to wait for the next Keno game. Lottery players are a big customer base here, I suppose, but all your basics are here too, as are the best prices on Diet Coke (my personal vice). Go on in and you won't regret it!
