I used to have to wait in super long lines at the CVS in Walgreens and the service there was terrible. Here is a breath of fresh air! They even go above and beyond to make sure I get great service. The other day, my provider made a mistake and didn't give me my regular refills, and so the pharmacy techs working went out of their way to call the provider on my behalf to take care of it, and even offered me loaner pills while I waited for my other provider to get back to me. They were really looking out for me and I really felt taken care of. Please go to this pharmacy!! Im so happy I found them.

This Walgreens is neat on the outside, but pretty basic on the inside. I also felt it was a little empty in the front (near the register), it lacked products and staff. I came in on a Friday and was not greeted, a little more customer service would go a long way in otherwise sleepy store like this. The rest of the store is well-stocked with gifts, flowers and stuffed friends (Squishmallows). I found an excellent supply of CHANSEY Squishmallows from Pokemon and my heart was overjoyed. We came in to buy some flowers for a deceased relative down the street at the Westminster Memorial. My parents said the single roses were $5 each and the bouquets were very expensive! We adapted and bought some flowers, but this felt a little excessive on the store's part. This location is right off Beach and has a 30 min. parking limit.

The pharmacy technician apparently left without getting a backup for the poor pharmacist. He was swamped with work and had dozens of patients from the same urgent care I came from waiting for scripts. The problem was that nothing was processed in the orders received and people waiting had others who came after had their scripts filled straightaway and leaving. I sat there like an idiot with other very sick patients well into 1am. And my insurance information wasn't taken in correctly so I paid full price. I was in no mood of waiting more so I can do an all nighter at this sketchy CVS. The outside of the store doesn't seem safe as many homeless people and other hoodlums were smoking and dealing god knows what. Certainly not a place young female should be going unaccompanied at night.

I called to ask if they would accept a new customer transferring from Walgreens, and the pharmacist was extremely unhelpful. I told him where I lived, and he was very reluctant to help. He stated that they had to have at least four medication's per month, but I told him I have 15 medications per month. Then I asked if they do delivery and he said only less than 5 miles and that I was "way too far away". I told him that I AM less than 5 miles away, but he was extremely unwilling to help and quite rude. It was so odd because everything that he said I needed to have to be accepted as a customer (good insurance, at least for prescriptions a month, less than 5 miles away...) was just right. I am very disappointed in Bao, the pharmacist I spoke to, and I am extremely disappointed in the way that I was treated. What pharmacist in the world would NOT want excellent insurance with 15 medications each month less than 5 miles away, and with the elementary school teacher, who is very friendly and seeking a new Pharmacy? I ended up finally hanging up on him because I was literally speechless and so offended. Every review that I read on here was at least one year old or more, so I have to assume that what used to be an excellent Pharmacy is now a terrible one. What a disappointment. I didn't immediately take a seat because when she didn't say anything I thought the prescription would fulfill very shortly, since it should've already started processing before I left the dental office. She simply replied "please wait", but thankfully the guy next to her helped me out by saying "yes please have a seat."
