Nathan, the pharmacist is aware of everything and always acknowledges customers. I was floored that he knew my name! There is never a wait and I get a text when my prescription is ready. Also the prices here compete with the those of the same items in CVS, Walgreens or even Costco. Today pharmacist/co-owner Nathan answered the questions that I posed of a medical device that I use and of a few nutritional supplements that I contemplated buying from him. He was a pleasure to talk to. The store associate was helpful, too, asking me if there was anything she could help me with. What I especially like about this pharmacy is that it is open on Sundays although only for four hours. Costco Pharmacy, where I usually get my medications filled, is not open that day. The only negative about New Island Pharmacy is that it is quite small, and parking is tight.

Needless t say we never even had the conversation. I went there due to all the positive feedback and drove an hour to do so. A total waste of my time. I replaced them as soon as I got home. I would not touch them with a stick. Horrible. I felt like I was 10 and my mother climbed out of her grave to mansplane the world. Never again.

As I don't use their pharmacy, I can't comment further on that area. Seems to me to be a good place to shop for upcoming holiday gifts.

After speaking with the owner Mike this morning, the situation has been sorted out. He treated both my father and I respectfully, explained why and what happened, and rectified the issue. Thanks Mike! Not sure what's going on over there tonight. I was a customer for over 9 years. I received my prescription and it was short by 6. I was with my father and noticed the box was not sealed before we left the parking lot. We immediately went back in to explain and was not only belittled but yelled at about how we were at fault, somehow trying to get over on them by receiving 6 extra, and that I had only been a client for a year? As if that was somehow applicable to the short prescription issue. Like I said, I've been going to Town Drug for almost a decade with little issue and even have proof of this through old prescriptions. Yet, instead of trying to fix the situation amicably, the pharmacist became belligerent and dismissive. The owner Mike has rectified the situation.

I'm sure the nature of medications that are frowned upon but unfortunately are necessary for me to just get out of bed. Even on these meds my life is not a real life. Friends and family have moved on as I became non committal to various invitations and even holidays due to horrible days of pain and depression.. As time went on and I'm sure the shortage played into things going south. Meds were coming up short one here two the next month the most I've discovered missing was at-least 3 maybe 4 pills.. Which when your in constant pain is a huge deal. I didn't mention anything as I believed I'd be painted as a drug seeking dirt bag. Which is a real thing in any pharmacy you go to. Things became worse when the lies and games began telling me they could not fill my prescriptions because they were over their limit for the month but this happened at anytime of the month. I finally went elsewhere I can't say things is better maybe even worse. It's amazing how these pharmacists feel so free to talk to you and accuse you with such distain it truly leaves you feeling pretty poorly of yourself and your mind goes over and over the interaction going back and forth as to was it you or them? Truly a shame . I requested every record from my Dr including all urinalysis labs and behavior and all that was observed about my compliance with all meds I was PRESCRIBED! No red flags all perfect counts, urinalysis etc. so that really made me want to complaint to the DEA and all agencies overseeing pharmacists and pharmacies. But I did not thinking their word against mine. I still respect Dave as an intelligent man in his field but he needs a lesson in how to speak to women who are not as forward as he is.
